Very cool but hidden in basement sneaks and street clothing store. They have a lot of hip New balance shoes as well as all the major brands, some obscure new cool brands as well. Plenty of caps and tees. Friendly helpful service too. Follow the stairs down into this cool shop.

This place has great selection in Vans, Adidas, Birkenstocks, and Uggs. A lot of shoe stores now a days are corporate owned and this place is small business owned. I'm a huge supporter of small businesses and I like that they're around to keep it going. They were previously Neo 39, now they're just Neo Pasadena. I love that the aesthetics of the place change. They even added roses to represent Pasadena. The way the shoes and gear is lined up doesn't make you feel overwhelmed with trying to look for the type of shoes you want. There's a guy name Rei and he's super helpful. He definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to shoes. I will definitely be coming back here for all my sneaker needs. The place is located underneath the T-Mobile store, so make a sharp left and the store will be down the stairs.

When it comes to kick a$$ customer service, it's NEO Pasadena FTW! I'd mistakenly purchased a pair of Birkenstocks in the wrong size from another retailer days before vacation, so when I arrived at NEO this afternoon, Sabrina (from NEO's sales team) found me anxiously scouring NEO's selection to make sure I found the perfect pair. She took the time to help me find just the right fit and color, and shared what I could expect from my new Birks as I break them in. When I noticed a TEENY imperfection in the sole of one of the shoes, Sabrina quickly offered me a discount. I was sold! It's clear that NEO stands behind their products (their selection of shoes and brands is legit) -- and I will definitely be back! If you need a new pair of kicks or two, this amazing team will not steer you wrong.

Rei is amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Always helps me out. I purchased Jordan's with him.

    Great shoe spot in Pasadena.

Either you know or you don't know. That should be their motto. No this isn't Foot Locker. No it's not "easy" to find. No it's not huge. Either you get it or you don't. For those of us who do, we love this place for all the right reasons. Need kicks? This is your spot.

Lori was really helpful . I love shopping here and I always make sure to come back . They located underground but it looks really cool Once you're in. They have limited and exclusive releases that other stores don't have .Make sure to check them out !!!

Never came back in 30 minutes.

I normally cant go to old town Pasadena during the week or weekend because I'm working and it's really chaotic on weekends but I have the week off. So I decided to go this morning around 11:45 and buy some shoes. I get there at 11:45 and I see a sign that says "Will be back in 30 minutes sorry for the inconvenience." So I wait and wait and still nothing. I have to put more money in the parking meter. I decided to wait for 30 minutes. 12:15 comes along and still no one shows up. I decide to wait some more and yet no one shows up. I waited until 12:30. I will never come to this store again and will not recommend it to anyone.

LOTS OF SHOES, BUT NEVER ANYTHING I REALLY LIKE…read more=========================================== I have been to this store numerous times, but I don't think I've ever purchased anything. The store is jam packed full of shoes, but I just haven't loved anything enough to purchase. Maybe I'll find something I like one of these days. They don't validate your parking unless you buy something.

When I was driving out at the toll machine I was already trapped by a car behind me :( I paid and left... That being said.. As you walk in, looks like it's supposed to be a higher end warehouse shoe store. All the products look great, but the customer service... I tried asking for assistance, but it was hard to find someone and when I did, I felt like I was slightly disturbing their day. At check out, the person there seemed quite dismissive especially when I didn't want to sign up for a member or give any points away. As I finished the sale, I was trying to find my parking receipt and just said out loud my thoughts of, where is my parking ticket, with out even looking up, they said in quite a dismissive way and shaking their head, ' it was the first thing I handed back to you.' There was one person there who was friendly, but it did not equal the rest of my interactions. The products there are fine. Prices seemed reasonable. There was a nice selection, the store looked nice, but the personal experience there... well... when I first walked in and looked around, my expectations were high, but in reality not the best.

Everyone knows kids feet grow every 3- 6 mos or so and my kids toes werent going to survive…read moresticking out of his old sandals. So off to Ken's Shoes we went, in a small square on S Fair Oaks in South Pasadena. I heard this place will accurately do fittings for free, and that the shoes are reasonably priced. We got here around noon, before lunch. The lady tried to put his foot in the metal sizing device but of course my child freaked out. I wanted the most accurate size - so for us to not do the metal foot sizer test was disappointing. The lady eyeballed his foot and gauged for him to be a T10. He might be a 9 but she said shoes should have space in them to avoid the insides rub his toes. I'm like, okay, you're the expert. She has a ton of shoes here. The place has wall to wall shoes / boxes of shoes. The place specializes in children's shoes, and they do have some of the good brands. She offered me some See Kai Run sandals for $25-30 (i forget exactly)- I know that brand is fancy, so that was a good price! Crocs were about $25 (very similar to Amazon generic crocs) but the colors she had in his size were too loud. I ended up declining the Crocs and got the See Kai Run sandals. There were some other similar styles that she didn't offer, and I'm not sure if she was just not keen on pulling out as many options for us to try, but I looked around and pointed at a few things and she obliged and showed them to us after checking that she had them in the kiddo's size. But then we saw that he was settling down with the sandals she first suggested so that's all we ended up buying. She has these little toys around the store for the kids to play with. She had a battery operated Flash on motorcycle that she gave to my son for free. I thought that was mighty sweet of her. Lately, I've been avoiding shopping at big box stores and trying to exist on goods from (and support) small biz. Ken Shoes is definitely a small business that I would not mind supporting. The only issue I have is their extremely limited hours. We're due for another visit soon.

I cant recommend this place enough. My daughter is 14 months old and is in PT due to developmental…read moredelays. It was finally time to get her some shoes, and we thankfully found Jennifer at Ken's shoes. She was so kind, waiting until my daughter felt comfortable around her to check her size and watch her stand. She helped us find a great pair that help my child keep her feet aligned and standing strong, hopefully walking confidently soon!
