I knew fleet feet had a great supply and the ability to measure mama's sore feet. So, mama is a five time cancer survivor and warrior. Unfortunately she had a large mass on her toe which prevented her from being able to walk without a boot, which after months leads to body pain throughout. Her poor foot and ankle always hurt, and swelled up real bad. She had pain throughout her body from the imbalance and reliance on crutches. I didn't think we could find a pair of hokas that would fit, and even better actually heal her feet. Then we came in and met Dan, the kindest most knowledgeable specialist we could have hoped for. He was patient and supportive at every step, through mama's laser measurements- which are amazing and they email them to you if requested. Then he began the work, we tried 4 great recommendations but alas none fit, all too tight around the ankle. But Dan wasn't done, he looked at the measurements and put in an order for a men's size in extra wide trusting it would fit- and if they didn't we could exchange within 30days. Four days later, my mom put on her first pair of shoes that fit in over a year. Im in tears of thanksgiving. To see her walking in a new pair of hokas, with proper balance and arch support. She's so excited and we are forever grateful. Also, they didn't try to sell me the most expensive pair, they had an awesome shoe that was less than what I expected! After spending almost an hour setting up an order on their website (with an AI assistant constantly trying to push stuff on you), there was no confirmation email. I called the next day to see if the order got through. A sleepy gentlemen answered the phone and mumbled apathetically that he'd check and get back to me. He never did. I left a message the next day, asking for a call back to find out if my order had come through. I got a text on my phone the next day, reading: "Thank you for reaching out to The Best Screen Printing company. Please send us your design, when you need it by, size breakdown and quantity for your order at sales@tbsp.la to get a free quick quote.". So we were back to square one, with 3 days just out the window. I emailed them and explained that I had submitted an order through their website days earlier. They emailed back and said they wouldn't honor that order. They told me if I wanted to pick up any t-shirt by Monday, they'd use a lower-quality (!) t-shirt and charge an additional $20 above the additional rush order fees they had already added. The store manager refused to accept my return, insisting that their store counts 60 days from the order date, not the delivery date. I explained that Nike's website clearly states the return window is based on the delivery date, but she replied, "That's my store policy," and told me to call customer service if I didn't agree. I called Nike Customer Service, but unfortunately the first representative incorrectly supported the store manager. To verify the policy, I called two other nearby Nike stores, and both confirmed that the 60-day return period starts from the delivery date. I then called Nike Customer Service again and spoke with a different representative, who also confirmed that the official Nike policy is based on the delivery date. I took my items to another Nike store, where they accepted my return immediately with no issues. This experience was incredibly frustrating and a waste of my time. Customers should not have to make multiple phone calls or drive to another store because a manager doesn't know or doesn't follow Nike's own return policy. I hope Nike provides better training to ensure customers receive accurate information and consistent service across all stores.
