    Shoutout NB Pasadena! I went in to return an online order and wasn't expecting to be have the experience I did. Or purchase another pair as the colorway I liked was sold out in my size. I decided to take advantage of the 3D fit they offer at this location. Jeff assisted me and was beyond helpful. He was genuine and engaging in the way he recommended insoles for my low arches. I really appreciated his customer service and candor. I walked out a very satisfied customer and spent less than I imagined I would. Store was dog friendly as well. :,)

    My family and I went in to have our feet scanned in the hopes to find the perfect fit and we were met with wonderful customer service. The store was busy, but we still received help and attention from the staff which we appreciated because we were unsure what to buy. They had a large selection of options and they had both regular and wide widths available. They helped us identify our ideal styles for arch support and our feet's needs. They were also having lots of sales in store on select items not found on their website. I want to give a special shout out to Jonathan the assistant manager. He was super knowledgeable, kind, and patient with us while we were trying to get everyone's ideal shoes. we all left with a new pair of shoes and wonderful experience we will be sure to share with our friends :)

    Overall review: 2/5 average amongst the separate reviews below CUSTOMER/SHOPPING experience: 3/5 rating - getting sized on a running shoe with new balance is hit or miss. Sometimes employees are helpful other times they are not - If a shoe is sold out in a size they don't even bother bringing out alternative items to try out. - This store has decent selection, they carry the made in USA products if you care about the more popular releases but if you're looking for clearance products then a factory store (not this one) may be better suited for you. Also they dont carry collaboration products like aime Leon Dore, Joe fresh goods, etc. PRODUCT RETURN experience: 1/5 rating for customer service. The Assistant Manager "Jonathan" difficult to work with. As soon as I walked in I wasn't greeted and he kinda just stared then said they don't accept online returns. I had to be extra assertive when requesting to return a shoe that I made an in-person order at NB Factory Store in Ontario. I even had a slip that came with my order stating that I can return at either a store in-person or ship to the NB warehouse. Supposedly this Pasadena store is an "independent franchise" and "Jonathan" made it seemed like returns from online orders are not possible without even trying. Took a while to convince him and had to ask "can you at least try it out, you haven't even ran it into the system?" Just a heads up: if you purchase an item from a NB factory store with a re-labeled box, most likely it's a b grade and you cannot return to a new balance store unless it's a factory store/outlet. Their other employees are very nice and helpful. Renne (male) specifically helped me with the return and didn't give me bad vibes the way Jonathan did.

    Excellent shoes and excellent fitting. Got some comfy walking / running shoes and got some in soles to fit my wide and flat foot.

We immediately felt welcome as we walked in, as their associates greeted us and asked us about any questions we had. They helped analyze her stride/gait, and gave us a variety of recommendations. I wasn't in the market for shoes myself, but I was able to get my gait analyzed as well, as I had always been curious about my running/walking form, and which shoe would work best for me. After trying on a few pairs, we finally picked a pair of New Balances. They have a large selection of shoes, from brands that are popular such as Brooks and Asics, to lesser known ones such as Diodora and 361. They also carry everything else you could need for your feet/shoes, such as socks, cushioning, recovery items, etc,. I believe their prices are pretty close to MSRP, so you may be paying a bit more than if you were to grab them online with discounts, but the customer experience is unrivaled, and it's worth supporting a local store if you can afford to! They also seem to have quite a few running events, so if you are close by, it seems like a nice place to potentially find a running community. I would highly recommend Run With Us for any running/walking needs!

He asked whether we were looking for anything in particular and immediately offered to assist. My wife explained that we were just browsing, but also said that we might be interested in a lite weight sneaker for me. Dylan explained that there were several good options in different brands and offered to assist. He was so nice and helpful that we agreed to see what's available. Long story short, Dylan took the time to show us several different brands and types, then worked with us on size, width, styles and colors. We inquired about the availability of Velcro as opposed to standard laces. In response he showed us a special shoe lace that quickly secures a sneaker with minimal effort. Dick's has such a wide ranging selection of sneakers which had previously discouraged us from taking time to sort through all of the many options. If not for Dylan's friendly and professional assistance this would likely have been just another fast pass through the department. We very much appreciated his assistance without a hard sell or feeling any pressure to make a final decision or immediate purchase. We purchased New Balance sneakers, Lock Laces and a tee shirt. I was still completely lost on where to find the item, so I decided to leave. I ended up buying the baseball at Big 5 instead, where the customer service was excellent. I'm not going back. I would prefer to go anywhere else.

I wish I got the young gentleman's name because it seemed like he was one of the only ones in the store who 1) knew where things were 2) could perform an assigned task 3) actually help us out. The reason I am saying this is because we went to the cash register upstairs and the cashier was uncertain that the service was downstairs. Not a big deal, she radioed them and confirmed where we could go. Easy. We go downstairs and show that cashier the glove (brand new, just bought for christmas) and that guy did not know how to do the steaming services, which was also fine because he asked another staff member who helped us, HOWEVER, the first guy told us the cost of it (which there is no cost because after a certain price glove it is a free service). The second guy (bless him) corrected him and stated the price of the glove and why it's free. As the worker was breaking in the glove the other guy cashier asked him multiple questions about where things were, if they did certain services, if he could help this other guest. Honestly that cashier guy was doing NOTHING. This is all in the midst of our guy fitting the glove which consists of steaming and banging it with a mallet which could be dangerous! Just seemed like an unprofessional thing to do. Now maybe this guy was new so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but seriously it seemed like he didn't even bother trying to figure it out on his own before turning the the gentleman helping us. All in all the service was great, he was knowledgeable and answered the questions we had! It seemed like there was a large selection of inventory and some decent sales. Customer service must have been kidnapped because they won't respond to emails or phone calls. I would rate them but obviously can't even give them a score since I don't think they actually have a customer service. Very disappointing. I initially reached out because I wanted to add items to my purchase order. Still waiting on a response that I feel isn't coming. To be clear this was an on line order. If u can walk in to an actual store I'm sure they are fine. If you are ordering on line I would avoid.

We had to have these exact shoes because he had them before, and they did not hurt his knee injury like the new Nike's did that I returned to the Nike store. New shoe models aren't necessarily better. The gentleman on the phone helped me find the one pair that the system said, was in stock and explained where it was and how the shipping worked.... Ironically, the one pair of shoes we needed was all the way up in Northridge or something like that. He went above and beyond on the phone with me. Because of that I was able to order them online and have them shipped and I knew exactly what to expect. If the services is good on the phone, I can't wait to go to the store sometime!!!
