Went on a Saturday morning. There is parking, but it's not free. With receipt and validation 1.50$. I was told it was free, but still got charged in the DSW parking area. When I was driving out at the toll machine I was already trapped by a car behind me :( I paid and left... That being said.. As you walk in, looks like it's supposed to be a higher end warehouse shoe store. All the products look great, but the customer service... I tried asking for assistance, but it was hard to find someone and when I did, I felt like I was slightly disturbing their day. At check out, the person there seemed quite dismissive especially when I didn't want to sign up for a member or give any points away. As I finished the sale, I was trying to find my parking receipt and just said out loud my thoughts of, where is my parking ticket, with out even looking up, they said in quite a dismissive way and shaking their head, ' it was the first thing I handed back to you.' There was one person there who was friendly, but it did not equal the rest of my interactions. The products there are fine. Prices seemed reasonable. There was a nice selection, the store looked nice, but the personal experience there... well... when I first walked in and looked around, my expectations were high, but in reality not the best. read more

3.5 stars for selection and prices ! While I wouldn't come here for sports/ athletic shoes, it has a great variety for dress shoes and sandals. Some have great discounts and has brands similar to what you see at Macy's. The store is organized and clean. I parked nearby the city hall and unfortunately cannot make a recommendation on parking. read more

So I have time today! I shop at DSW all the time! And I'm huge on customer service. Unfortunately today they fell short, I'm highly disappointed in Andrea who stated she was the manager, but definitely did not exhibit such thing today. There is clearly a sign (see picture attached) that the croc jewels are 25% off ...no where does it say select items. When I was checking out she refused to honor the sign. This may seem small to some however I'm big on customer service especially when you frequently patronize a business. Andrea tried to say it was select items, but their signage doesn't say anything about select items therefore it's false advertising and the principle . This shopping mall is fairly limited in the variety of stores. Parking is underground and easily accessible. DSW is located on the second floor, so it's an elevator ride that's easiest. There used to be a separate men's store, but it's been replaced by another building. The men's section is now a small part of the main store, and the selection is poor. I saw a few pairs of shoes on their website and stopped by to see if I could try them on before purchasing. They didn't carry any of the shoes I saw online. There's a sign that says they only validate WITH purchase. If you spend too much time browsing and don't buy anything, you'll pay for your own parking. read more

I stopped by DSW Warehouse for the first time the other day. They do have a wide selection and there are sales section toward the back. I feel exhausted walking around the store as it is pretty big. Although there are many shoes to choose from, it wasn't exactly my style. My mom bought two pairs of sneakers and the discount isn't as good as I hope. Don't expect employees to assist you either, it's pretty much help yourself around here. I was hoping for more designer brands. read more

It's no secret that I love shoes! There was a time when my favorite past time was walking up and down the aisles of DSW searching for the hottest pair of heels. Now, I shop for shoes online. Less hassle, more convenient, and I'm fortunate that my foot is true to size. It's rare that a pair doesn't work out. This location has scaled down from its heyday. At one point it was so big there were two separate stores - one for women and another for men across the way. Now the two have been consolidated into one. They still carry a nice selection and there are more accessories. The store is well organized, and the merchandise is evenly spaced out. The associates have always been nice, friendly, and helpful. Occasionally, I come here to donate that rare pair of shoes that don't work out for me to their Soles4Souls program. (Typically running shoes because they are a hit or miss for me.) It's easy and convenient. You can drop off new or gently worn shoes in the donation bin or hand them to a cashier and earn 50 reward points. It's a win, win and parking is validated (90 mins). read more

Love how convenient the location is! I walk here so I don't need to worry about parking. There is always a big selection and I loooove looking at their sale racks. They always have a great selection for whatever shoe you need. Today, I needed running shoes and was originally looking for Saucony but ended up going with Addidas! They had wide sizes and I need that for my unique feet. Found out if we donate shoes, we can get 50 points (if you are a member. And it is worth about $5). So I ended up giving my shoes I was wearing currently and walking out with my brand new shoes!! Felt great!! Got new shoes and was able to recycle my old ones. I appreciated the employee who helped us. She was really nice. I will definitely come back in the future! read more

Went to this DSW because it is super huge and fancy and I found a bunch of cool shoes! It has a huge 2 selection and I love the 2nd floor layout where you go up the escalators. I am literally loving these selections and plan to ship at this DSW instead of the one in the Marina location! The best part? Shoe heaven in Pasadena... Vionic, Clark's, Columbia, Rockport, Timberland, Steve Madden, Lucky, White Mountain, Bare Traps, Birkenstock, Teva, Fergalicious, Roxy, Crocs, Skechers, New Balance, Saucony, Asics, Adidas, Under Armour, Puma, and Nike are some of the brands that I saw today. This store is very spacious and well-organized. I browsed for over an hour! I went through almost every aisle until I saw the CLEARANCE area... omg... It's fun to try on sandals and shoes without anyone hovering over! I was able to place boots together and compare styles, heights is heels, and other features! I parked right in front of the store at 9:45am to secure free street parking! Another good thing about this store is the convenient restroom! Wow! They think of everything... socks, purses, belts, scarves, umbrellas, and more! I was actually looking for wedge style Crocs for my sister. It seems like this type of shoe has been discontinued. Not a good experience. The store does not have a phone line to call, none of them do so you can not reach anyone to ask a question. They do not have enough staff at the register I waited with a long line of people for 10-15 minutes. Everyone was not happy. They finally said the registers were down. Such a bad customer experience as they dont offer public restroom and don't validate your parking even if you were looking to shop there but could not find what you were looking for. FINALLY!! I've been looking for a new pair of black ankle strap 3 inch heels and this place had them!! Looked online, ordered them, and picked them up in four hours at the register. If it turned out I didn't like them, I could return them right there and then. This DSW is located within the Paseo so there's free parking with validation. Plenty of shoes to look at, so I was glad to order them online without having to walk down every aisle in order to find them. Since I'm a member of DSW, I was able to get a better discount. I have to admit, since I was there, I decided to peruse the clearance section. REALLY good prices!! Quite a few cute options, but the sizes which were left didn't fit. Like every other DSW, this place has hundreds of kicks: designer brands, no name brands you've never heard of, sneakers, flats, sandals, etc. Check out the clearance section in the back. You will be very surprised (in a good way) by what you find there. Unlike every other DSW, there is a separate men's store nearby. I have only stepped in here once, and noticed it is significantly smaller than the ladies store. I don't think the sneakers are a great deal here because every pair of new balances I have bought here is around $80. However I think their flats, summery sandals, and conservative work shoes are priced really well ($50-$60). Tip #1: Get your parking ticket validated in the front by the cash registers. I believe it is good for 90 minutes. Tip #2: Join their rewards program. I am not sure how it works, but they send you $5 or $10 off coupons all the time. Random observation: the automatic dryer in the bathroom here is so loud. Yes you are being environmentally friendly, but it will cost you your hearing. read more

I had to return my cute CUTE flats because it didn't fit and it ended up being too painful :( It's a funny story actually because when I initially purchased them, I only tried out the right foot.. which is the one EVERYONE tries out.. which stretches it out. Of course I didn't try on the left one.. I wore it for a bit and my feet were in excruciating pain. I was nearby and just happened to have my flats in my trunk so I brought them in to get a refund. Genice helped me out and was extremely nice! Since I threw away my receipt, she was able to find me under the DSW rewards and give me a store credit card. It's so spacious and looks bigger than most DSWs. I skimmed very quickly and it still looks like they have all the same shoes the other DSWs have. I'll just have to come back a different season to find more flats. They all ran out of my size!! There is free parking across the street, in front of the Optometry office! I really value this store, and get a majority of my shoes from this DSW location and have been shopping here for years. I like that you can have a membership and accrue points for discounts, get offers for free giveaways with a purchase, and since the store is so large, they have a pretty big selection. They do, however, send way too many emails once they get your email address, but many have discounts attached, so it's tolerable. I usually start in the Clearance section, to see if they have anything I'm shopping for, and have found some expensive shoes at a great discount. I preferred the store when the men's shoe selection was in an adjacent building, because there was more inventory focused on women's shoes under that roof, but it is what it is now. I have also bought jewelry, fun cat socks and liner socks for wearing flats. They also have purses and other gift-type items available for purchase. For help in the store, I highly recommend Amy. (She spells her name a bit differently, but since I can't remember, I'm spelling it the normal way.) She's has been a big help to me in the past, on rare occasions when other sales people have been less than helpful. Parking at the Pasadena Paseo Mall can be challenging on weekends. Remember to bring in your parking ticket to ask for validation at the register. read more

I've tried to stay away from DSW as I had the most awful experience ever at a San Diego location some time ago. I was recently in this area treating sis to a birthday movie and dinner. She wanted shoes as a gift so we thought DSW would be a whatever location to visit. The 2nd floor location is a bit strange as there's only one entrance on that level (see pic). Let's just say it's not as close to Arclight as you'd visually think. The set up is a bit odd but maybe it was b/c it was my first visit to this location. The clearance section is in the way back and I didn't feel they had much to offer in this oh so important part of the store. I wasn't really quite feeling the inventory or set up but I found a pair of clearance ballet flats that caught my eye. But of course the shoe angels had to make it the wrong size. BUT, the same shoe angels brought sales staff Daniela to me. Daniela was the key to this store. She was incredible friendly and most importantly, she was helpful. She went to the front to get the 'tablet' and came back to me to research if we could find the right size in stock. DSW should have more staff like Daniela . She made a world of a difference to our shopping experience here. We left with four pairs of shoes so not bad. I'd come back to this location if we were in the area to take another look around. read more

Pasadena DSW is a far drive for me. I'm sure I'm not the only one who makes a longer distance trip to shop there as DSW locations are limited. I usually spend a long time at any DSW due to the huge selection and clearance prices which of course is the reason to recommend it. "Why 1-star"? After my long visit and items bagged, it was time to use the restroom. I walked all the way to the back to where said restrooms are and found they were closed. I'm pretty sure Covid is the excuse. If you can handle people shopping/spending inside you can handle cleaning the damn bathrooms. They told me I could go to Starbucks but I was not going to chance going there as their SINGLE bathrooms are usually occupied by weirdos who take really long. It is also totally inappropriate to send me to another business where I'm not going to make a purchase. Even though I will say the employees were efficient and nice, this removal of bathroom in such a large store to which people travel a distance and spend a long time shopping is totally UNACCEPTABLE. This was an extremely INCONVENIENT and upsetting ending to my trip to DSW. read more

Hazel has helped me with selecting the appropriate insoles, lots of returns, online orders and even when the line gets a bit long she still remains cheerful and helpful to everyone. Thanks Hazel! Finally, after countless visits to this location (ask my boyfriend! I'm sure he knew I was insane to continuously go in, to do nothing but act as though I'm astounded to find not one single item I like) UNTIL.... Today! They had me eating my words. Tons of cute spring/summer sandals in stock. Lots of wedges, lots of blue. I wanted everything and had more boxes than the two of us could shuffle around in here. Always try things on as well, I'm usually a 7 but can wear a 6 and 6.5 in a bunch of brands they carry. Need not fret if at first you don't catch a glimpse of the size you're looking for. While waiting in line to pay, I was forced to b line to their handbags where I found another must purchase. I'll definitely be heading back this coming week to check out their selection. They get new items twice a week, early on Tuesdays and Thursday's. You really can't beat the prices here! You can walk away with 4-5 pairs of shoes for the price you'd pay for one elsewhere. Happy early Mother's Day to me ;) Oh! And the men's stuff is now in the main store and no longer across the way. Today's visit helped me understand why everyone in Pasadena is carrying a shopping bag from here. Staff is super nice and they are very friendly. When it comes to shoe selections here, it's so big and many to choose from. However, parking can be inconvenient because you have to park in the structure and get a parking ticket which needs to be validated. Sometimes I forget and I end up paying because I am too lazy to go back up there to get a validation. You can find almost anything here. Pumps, wedges, stilettos, sneakers, boots, flip flops and the list goes on and on. There are many other shoes for men as well as kids. I like this location because it's huge! Parking sucks on weekends, however, the abundance of other stores and eateries in this center make up for the forever and a day search for a space in the lot. This is a great store that offers a variety of styles. The prices aren't too shabby, considering the good quality of the shoes. There's also a good amount of cute handbags, wallets and accessories. Why send shoes in SEVERAL different orders and say "your order is ready for pick up" when only 1 of the items in my 6 item order is actually there??? In addition, the way they were speaking to several customers was unprofessional and unpleasant to listen to while standing in line... this place went down hill. I love DSW for the selection BUT...all of their online hours say they close at 8:00 pm. At 7:02 I was turned away. They said they closed at 7:00. Very disappointing. If you truly do close at 7:00, you need to change the website and all other online info. If you are really supposed to close at 8:00, you need to talk to your employees. read more
