    I was a loyal customer of WSS for years, until now :(. Yesterday (9/27/22) I was looking for a pair of slip resistant work shoes. I purchased a pair of Skechers Tactical. They fit perfectly fine and were very comfortable. I was excited to use them for work and then instantly started slipping . I almost fell and almost injured myself. I was literally at work for 15 minutes when I was sent home. Today I returned to the store and explained my story. Since I "wore" them. There are no refunds or exchanges. These shoes are Brand NEW! Instead she told me to contact Skechers to ask for a refund and that WSS was just a third party and there wasn't anything they can do about it . I suppose she felt bad for me and offered me 20% off on "future item purchase ". What makes you think I am ever coming back? Word of mouth is the best advertisement and I'll make sure to tell family and friends to just stay away from third party companies and to buy directly from the manufacturer. This is such an upsetting experience. ****** For anyone reading this ***** *****STAY AWAY FROM THIRD PARTY COMPANIES AND BUY DIRECTLY FROM THE MANUFACTURER*****

    Used Shoes! Sold to me.

    I came here to buy some comfortable new shoes for work. I went up to pay for them and was helped out by a male employee. Guy must have been stoned or something because he looked at the shoes and bagged them right up. Came back and asked to speak with the manager as I wanted a swap for a new pairs as that what was I thought I was purchasing. I was helped out by a "manager" Ana Mejia. She was immediately defensive stating that her employees wouldn't sell me this. I told her otherwise. She went to check the cameras and she couldn't pull up the feed. She stated that she reached out to corporate and they will have to follow up with me. They never followed up I called her back and she stated that corporate has watched the camera feed twice and determined that the employee checked the shoes and there was no way he would have sold me these. Well I wouldn't go through all this trouble to return shoes for the exact same pair of shoes that I never wore. Shame on you WSS Corporate and Management.

    I came here with my girlfriend last time to buy some shoes for her and we got exactly what we were looking for the employees were helpful and nice. I do recommend this location for everybody to check out. It's kept clean and organized so that is always a huge plus when you are looking for shoes.

    WSS is supposed to be open until 8 or 9 pm because of thank giving but for them to close at 5pm like come on.

    Decent prices, pretty good selection of shoes, my only thing is the clearance rack isn't marked down that much.

When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.

I wish I got the young gentleman's name because it seemed like he was one of the only ones in the store who 1) knew where things were 2) could perform an assigned task 3) actually help us out. The reason I am saying this is because we went to the cash register upstairs and the cashier was uncertain that the service was downstairs. Not a big deal, she radioed them and confirmed where we could go. Easy. We go downstairs and show that cashier the glove (brand new, just bought for christmas) and that guy did not know how to do the steaming services, which was also fine because he asked another staff member who helped us, HOWEVER, the first guy told us the cost of it (which there is no cost because after a certain price glove it is a free service). The second guy (bless him) corrected him and stated the price of the glove and why it's free. As the worker was breaking in the glove the other guy cashier asked him multiple questions about where things were, if they did certain services, if he could help this other guest. Honestly that cashier guy was doing NOTHING. This is all in the midst of our guy fitting the glove which consists of steaming and banging it with a mallet which could be dangerous! Just seemed like an unprofessional thing to do. Now maybe this guy was new so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but seriously it seemed like he didn't even bother trying to figure it out on his own before turning the the gentleman helping us. All in all the service was great, he was knowledgeable and answered the questions we had! It seemed like there was a large selection of inventory and some decent sales. I came here on Saturday looking for a specific item and no employees were of help. I couldn't even find an employee to help me which is odd because there usually is an employee or two walking around fixing things but not this time. I found what i needed and went to pay and the cashiers were so inattentive. It felt more so like a get out of here so we can continue to talk which is actually what it was because as soon as i finished paying and left, thats exactly what happened. The friendliness and helpfulness this location used to have is gone. Which sucks because this was my favorite Dick's location. What a shame
