First of all, the prices here are NOT it. I found the same crocs cheaper on the crocs website and they refused to price match. The selection also is dismal, and they don't even have colored shoe laces. Worst of all, I dealt with a really rude employee. I asked for a UK 7 in a pair of docs and he laughed at me and patronized me suggesting I was wrong and weird for going by UK sizes. I'm sorry but it's written on ALL doc marten boxes. I said UK 7 because I thought it was easier than saying women's 9 because sometimes I'll be handed a men's 9 instead. That's how I ask for shoes AT the doc marten store downstairs at the mall. It's normal, he didn't have to laugh in my face and treat me like I'm dumb. It felt sexist to be honest. Then he tried to sell me a leather care kit for the doc martens I was wearing. He was pushy after I said no and high key insulted the state of shoes. For background I know a LOT about leather care and religiously take care of my doc martens, so this felt really really rude. They were 5+ year old shoes that I wear when making art, they were not even mean to look perfect but I already use a leather balsam on it, i take such good care of my multiple pairs of docs and have a routine. He also definitely didn't know what he was talking about with the leather care kit--he just made me feel so insecure about how my shoes looked and made me feel like I was stupid the entire conversation when he clearly didn't know about anything he was talking about. Once again, as a woman, it was so so sexist how he was speaking to me. Terrible man, terrible experience, expensive store, sexist vibes. That's all I'm saying. 1/5 for real. read more

I stopped by to return some shoes and to see if there was anything else that got my attention but my daughter felt ill and had an accident...my anxiety went through the roof but the staff that worked there today around 5 helped me out so much made me feel little more relaxed they helped getting my daughter and I cleaned up and helped me clean up after the accident my daughter had done . My daughter & I went to Journeys in the Glendale Galleria on Sunday before school started. Needless to say the store was packed with shoppers. As soon as we entered the store Taylor approached us with assistance. She serviced us with a great smile & was quick to get the shoe my daughter wanted ;) We were in & out within 10 minutes!! I stopped by today to check out if they had the croc Miami toe loop sandals. When I didn't see it on display I was ready to walk out when I was approached by JOSH. He was so helpful he informed me that he can check to see if they have them online and I would get free shipping to my address. Lucky they did! We were trying to purchase shoes for the whole family but all the employees decided to just huddle in the middle and gossip. We stayed for 10 minutes waiting for someone to ask if we needed help but they continued with their conversation. This happened on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at around 5:00PM. Dang! All the shoes that my hubby and I would have purchase for the entire family had you taken the time to say, "HI" to us during the entire 20+ minutes that we were perusing your store. You lost a pretty good sale if you ask me. I don't know that I will be coming back here unless it is for something that I absolutely cannot get any where else. I know that they saw me. One of the store clerks probably didn't as they were on their phone the entire time as they were sitting just out of view of cameras, probably. I didn't get any help. Nobody seemed interested in the fact that we were holding half pairs of shoes in our hands, trying to make decisions about which would be best, which ones my lil girl has outfits to match, etc. Ignored and irritated. The manager Kiiana was amazing When she helped my daughter she was very kind friendly and knew what to recommend. My daughter and her friend never knew she was the manager until after she paid. My daughter was so impressed she only wished that Pink in the Galleria had such a great manager and staff. We will come back even if we live far from this store. read more

I have been coming to this journeys for 10 years now and this store is awesome but the only downfall is their management. Or might I say " A " manager. If you ever enter this store I recommend anyone but the man named Jason. Every encounter I have had with him was too overwhelming, I couldn't even THINK about the color I wanted MYSELF without his endless opinion. And if he's not up your a** he will definitely be up one of his young employees. He seems to have an ego to fill. But i have consistently witnessed this man steal a sale from an employee or simply just yell at them in front of all of us costumers. And as a regular the environment is typically awesome but if he's there, be prepared too be uncomfortable. read more

Came here this morning to try some Doc Martens. They have a few vegan docs mixed in - it's best to ask which is which if you're looking for the vegan ones. This was the best best shopping experience ever with Marco!!!!!! . Was super helpful and most of all had product knowledge. I was buying shoes for my family in Italy and the shoe size was the European size he was helpful in converting the sizes. He was attentive and most of all extremely helpful . Me and my best friend went here to shop for some shoes. Unfortunately I do not remember the name of the lovely girl who helped us out, I only remember she was a very pretty asian girl... anyways she was hands down the BEST associate we have EVER come across!! We asked if they had a certain shoe in a size and not only did she bring out what we asked but she also brought out different styles and colors for that shoe!! After she brought us the shoes she left and came back with at least 5 different kinds of socks and let's us know they were on sale, we literally only bought the socks just because she did that for us. It was the absolute best show shopping experience we have ever had!! We will be returning here just to buy shoes from her again!! Was just there yesterday at 11:34am and yes an employee did get my shoes that I needed to me quickly but when it came time to check out the employee that got my shoes for me asked another employee because she was busy checking another out and that other employee was on the store phone (I assume with a pervious employee) to help me out, mind you I'm currently disabled and using a walker so it's a little bit of struggle for me to wait in line. This employee was on the phone the entire time and didn't say a single word to me at all except yes. She was on the phone giggling and asking this person what store he was working at instead of asking how I was or anything. I asked her if she had applied my coupon and all she said yes. No thank you or anything. I walked away very confused considering that this would be the place I would always buy my shoes from but I guess not anymore. The other employee was very nice and attentive. I usually give people the benefit of the doubt but that seemed like a conversation that could of been talked about on a break and completely ignore a customer. read more

Fantastic experience - styles, environment, service, friendliness, ease, price, all great. I looked at the selection at several stores before bringing in my teen daughter and her friend. Journeys had by far more styles. Service was excellent. We've had to wait on end at department stores not only for the salesperson, but then for them to re-appear with the shoe - took over 2 1/2 hours last year at Macy's at the Galleria. I was helped immediately my first visit to Journeys to scope it out, and the girls were helped immediately when I brought them a few days later, different sales people. The girls had a great time and both left with a new pair of shoes they loved. read more

Today I dealt with a really wonderful salesman named Marco at Journeys shoes in the Glendale Galleria. He answered every question I had about Doc Marten shoes well and knowledgeably and had an open, friendly demeanor. He also gave me excellent advice on their care and the best ways to break these shoes in. I was really impressed. I'll definitely come back to this store again. read more

If they are busy they will not take time to help a customer that is not there to simply buy and go. If you are there to return or exchange they'll get moody and try to hurry it up to get you out. They will tell you they can only do an exchange and not a refund even when you are within the lines of their policies. I was told i could not get my money back on shoes with a manufacturers defect so i left after being told to come in next week and see if they have the size i needed to exchange the shoes. I decided to call up the journeys in Burbank where they provided excellent help and apologized for the crappy service we had previously received at this location in Glendale. I received my money back because like i said before i was within policy and should not have been denied my money back. I understand that it was a busy day and the stress levels are at a all time high but you just don't lie to people to hurry up the process and get them out. read more
