Plenty of options at this store, located right on Colorado Blvd. Parking can be tricky, with only a few metered spots on the street, but it's much easier (and cheaper) to park in one of the nearby public structures -- the first 90 minutes are free, then just a few dollars after. The area itself is lovely, surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants, and cafés, so it's worth making a stroll out of it. I was purchasing the last pair of Converse in my size, which happened to be the display shoes. They had some light signs of use from being tried on by others, so I asked if they could offer a small discount. The attendant's response was very dry and dismissive -- just asked if I wanted them or not, without any attempt at customer service. Went here today (Sunday) and there was about 3 employees. Two out of the theee were on their phones. We asked for a size of a shoe. Salesperson brought us half the pair and left. She disappeared. We wanted to try another pair, or shoe lol but no one was to be found. Some other customers came in but they weren't helped either. When they didn't have our size, they didn't offer to check other stores or help us order it online. Horrible customer service. Management should review the cameras and see what they're paying for. read more

When I finally asked for a size of shoe the associate was rude as if assuming I was not going to buy anything. When they finally looked up, they acted like he was rudely interrupting them. When she finally came back, she just handed him the box (the wrong size) and walked away without a word. But not before shooting me a look up and down like, like "what, you wanna say something to me?" I've visited this Foot Locker a few times, and the experience has consistently been underwhelming. The staff are not helpful. I'll have a shoe in my hand that I want to try on, and 5-10 minutes will go by. No one will ask if they can assist, even if they are standing a few feet away from you. I have to go walking around the store just to find someone to help me out. The only time they will act friendly is when they know you're about to purchase the items. I walked half a mile to this store to pick up some shoes I tried on yesterday. I arrived 15min before close and they would not let me in. The store employee cracked the door open to tell me they closed early to prepare for floors to be worked on. To be clear, the floors were not yet being worked on. I advised that I had walked there and knew exactly what I wanted to purchase. She asked the manager Ciara if it was okay to sell to me and was told "no". I decided to write this review because I actually visited the store the day prior as well and when I entered the store there was no greeting at all. I had to ask for help. I felt like I stepped into the movie Idiocracy. 4 staff in store. One at the front staring at his phone, one, ringing up customers at a sloth like pace, one manager walking around looking at what the others are doing, and one poorly trying to help customers with shoes. I asked the one helping customers with shoes for 4 pairs in sizes for my kids. He leaves and starts walking around to help other customers. About 15 minutes later the manager came out with 3 pairs not 4. I ask her if she can bring the other too. She says ok then walks away and doesn't bring them. One of pair fit, but given how poorly getting shoes from them had gone I decided to cut my losses and just take the one pair. I got in line to check out. There were 3 others ahead of me and 2 behind. The manager who was now at the register helps one customer check out then goes to the front of the store to talk with the employee who's standing at the front looking at his phone. So one employee checking people out, two at the front just talking, and one in the back just standing there while there is a line of people trying to check out. This place is ridiculous. I honestly just had the worst shopping experience here tonight. I was walking around the store searching for Christmas gifts and I then ask an employee, saying, "Excuse me" very politely to get their attention and ask for a size in a specific shoe. The employee starred at me and raised their head up, saying nothing. They then spoke with an attitude and said, "I acknowledged you, what do you want?" I calmly asked another associate for a size and they were just as rude. I then asked to speak with the manager to discuss the lack of customer service. The manager was not receptive, accommodating or understanding at all. She made me to feel like I was wrong for asking the sales person for "bothering" her. I still cannot believe what just transpired. I will call corporate and discuss this with them about the horrible lack of service at this specific footlocker location. I have friends and family that come often and I have already let them know to stop shopping here. They have had very similar experiences here and have also complained about the management. I have been a loyal customer of foot locker for many years. FootLocker is my 13-year-old boy favorite store. I have to say I have never been treated so disrespectfully as I did today by Viri, the store manager at the Pasadena Location. Viri shouted at my 13 year old son while he attempted to try on a pair of shorts. While I understand he wasn't allowed, there is a professional way to convey that information to a paying customer. And shouting is not the right way! I decided to see visit the Foot Locker in Old Town Pasadena earlier today during my lunch break to see if they had the Nike Huaraches. My issue with my visit to the store was "lack" of customer service and common sense. I waked into the store to see if anyone would acknowledge and/or greet me. I did not get greeted not once by any of the employees. I even stood in of two of them pretty much making my presence known and still nothing. Ok, so I got ignored..... But that wasn't the part that bothered me the most about my visit. So I preceded to the register to see if anyone could answer my question when I overheard the cashier at the time and another employee talking about answering the phones. The cashier made the comment (while ringing up a VIP Platinum customer) that she hates answering the phones and said..."That's why I never answer the phone." I was thinking to myself.....are you F'ing kidding me??? Why would you say something like that in front of customers? It's like don't you know your actions can have consequences and tarnish the reputation of the company which you present? I came in to exchange my Lebron 15 Oreo. I already went to a few Foot Lockers and they didn't have the same color way and the size I need. I decided to exchange it for a different color way. The cashier rang me up and told me the difference is $45. I asked her why because I was just exchanging it for a different color because they didn't have the oreo. She said I bought mines on sale. She said would not be able to give it to me for the same price. I asked to speak to the manager because she couldn't explain to me why. The manager came over and identified himself as Moe Al-Baja. I tried to explain to him that the website said the Oreo were $160. I also told him I went to a store that sold the Oreo for $80 because it was their last pair. The cashier there was able to order one in what I thought was my size and shipped to my house for $80. He interrupted me and started shaking his finger and said, "No, I am not going to knock down the price for you! You got these on sale". I told him that I was not a child so please don't use that disrespectful gesture on me. I asked him for his name because at this point, I wasn't getting any answer or provided any other options. He wrote his name on a piece of paper and I left. I called a Foot Locker nearby and asked for clarification. She told me that I won't be able to exchange for another color way for the same price but I can exchange it for a different size. She explain the sku number won't allow them to do that. She explained to me why and gave me an option. Excellent customer service! I never encountered such an ill mannered manager before. I will be writing a letter to corporate about my experience. I was given the rudest service from Oscar the employee at that location stating he could not give me a cash refund due to not having cash on drawer. I called the old town Pasadena store and was told to come on down and they would gladly do the return for me . Dolares the manager is courteous and made sure she took care of me and gladly did the return. The five stars is for Dolares and her impeccable customer service . The manager here is a lazy woman and has no skills to be a manager. No customer service skills at all. One of the workers gave me a pair of shoes and the bottom of them were absolutely used. They were black from where the person walked so they were obviously not new. If I am paying $130 for shoes I want to be the one to dirty them. They only had one pair left so I asked for a discount and the worker said she didn't think her manager would let her but she would ask anyways. I assumed that the manager would come check them out herself but I saw when she went to go ask, the manager didn't even bother to come look and told the worker that they were only used from people trying it on. And when I went it, Man that store looks amazing, probably the nicest/modern looking Foot Locker I've seen. And the best part is that the Manager that kept me going to Arcadia Foot locker is there also. Jonathan is just the best, he never plays games with the customers like other Foot Lockers do. Absolutely terrible customer service! I went into this store with a friend who was returning an item. After helping him drop some items off at the sales counter, my younger brother and I started to browse their inventory. My brother and I noticed that they had a great selection of Nike Inventory and at reasonable prices. I even commented a loudly, "Maybe I will buy some shoes for my wife and I since we are here and they have a nice selection!" I said that expecting a sales associate to ask if I needed assistance, no one offered. "That's okay, let me see if I can find something I would like to purchase." I thought to myself. That's when I spotted a nice brand new LA Dodgers cap in the Lakers Purple/Gold color scheme. "WOW! What an awesome hat!" I thought, it even matched the shirt I was wearing, "I'm definitely going to buy this." So I grab the hat and head over to the register to see if someone will help ring me up. (Mind you, there's only a total of about 7-8 people browsing in the store which includes my brother and I, and perhaps 6-7 staff members standing around not doing much.) I place the hat on the counter and ask the nearest staff member, "Could you help check me out at this register?" To her response "Sorry she's the only one who can ring you up?" As to my response was "Why?" The phone starts to ring in front of me, and here walks over Gabriel, the coolest dopest shoe staff associate, who's been giving me nothing but dirty looks and lip to all of my questions since I had arrived in the store. He says, "No she can't help you!" And I ask "Why not?" "That's only the manager's job!" And points over to the staff member who's been helping my friend with his item return this entire time. "Could you move!? I'm trying to answer the phone!" Gabriel aggressively tells me. "Yeah but I want to know why no one can help me check out at this register?" "They just don't do that, MOVE! I'm trying to answer the phone and you're in the way, if you want to buy something you have to get in line!" He gestures towards a piece of tape on the floor. I answer back frustrated now, " I'm sorry I didn't know there was a line, you guys don't have anything to indicate where the line starts and ends." I move away from the register and decide to stand "in-line" at which point Gabriel says "Are you OKAY!?" in a demeaning tone. "Yeah I'm good bro, I just want to buy this hat, do you always speak to customer's like this? Especially someone who wants to spend their money here!?" "IF you don't want to buy anything, you can just leave and wait outside! We're at capacity anyways!" (I've been trying to keep my cool this entire time dealing with this juice head, that I finally snap) "I just want to know why no one else can not help me at this register, do you not know how to operate a cash register? Some more words were exchanged, I put the item back and decided not to purchase anything due to this "sales associate" attitude. Unprofessional, rude, condescending, and down right disrespectful customer service from Gabriel. This guy needs to find a different job if he does not know how to handle a customer, let alone even know how to operate a cash register! The worst part about this, I spoke with the Manager after our little heated exchange.(I won't mention her name because she was at least respectful.) But I am still disappointed with her excuses that she gave for her staff member, she even defended Gabriel and did not even offer so much as an apology for his rude behavior. She gave me a phone number to contact "customer service" to file a complaint which in part is just a Jack session of "Let me transfer you to the right department." Do not reward anyone at this store with your business, especially Gabriel. He's probably an aspiring "IG Model/Influencer" who needs to chill with the alpha male machismo, and stop over overcompensating for the other areas he lacks in, including learning how to count. read more
