I'm not a big suit guy, I don't really know what's good or not. I just have some general knowledge about how a suit should fit, and some things to look for. With that said, I had a really pleasant experience recently with Men's Suit Outlet. I went in, got greeted straight away, and it was down to business. John helped me out. Asked me some basic questions about what the suit was for, when I needed it by, what sort of price range I was after, etc. He quickly narrowed down exactly what I needed. Had me try on a jacket to start. It fit pretty much perfectly, no adjustments needed. Then it was on to pants. The pants ran long, but that's to be expected... everyone has different length legs. It would be a bit much to expect them to carry lengths for every leg size. We got a pair that fit my waist well, but was a bit tight in the thighs and calves. John let me know they could let it out a bit. The cost for tailoring the pants was reasonable and competitive. They had the suit ready for me within a few days. I think they likely could have done the tailoring faster if I requested, but I wasn't in a last minute rush so it was fine. Overall I was really happy with my experience and my purchase. The suit looks great on me. Best fitting suit I've probably ever owned. I used to just buy off the rack suits that always fit a bit weird and looked a bit silly. The tailored look really takes it to the next level. So if you're a guy who doesn't wear a lot of suits, wants a nice suit for a budget price, then you should be pretty happy getting a suit here. That's not to say if you are a suit guy with a bigger budget that you can't find stuff here. They certainly had much fancier suits that I certainly couldn't afford. There was also a separate children's and men's department. The dressing rooms were clean but unattended. Everything was organized, except for the sales racks. I usually find great scores on sales racks but the garments were crammed onto the racks, which made it difficult to sort through. I noticed that some of lower priced clothing was poorly made - throw away pieces for under $10. The higher quality items are pricier. Unfortunately, I was unable to find anything that fit properly so I'll have to use my gift certificate another time. *Parking is 90 minutes free with validation. Ticket validation machine is near the register.

On my recent visit (this past Saturday), my husband and I, along with our little girl dog, were greeted by several employees and asked if our little girl would like a dog treat (unfortunately because of her sensitive stomach, we had to declined but I appreciate the gesture). We ended up purchasing a few items for our dog at 50% off, which was nice. But didn't see any clothing that I was interested in, or my husband. It is too bad that this location is closing. There really aren't that many Orvis retail stores but plenty of authorized sellers of this company. Tried on some pants too. Customer service was great! All of them were helpful, but one of the girls helped me and she was checking up on everyone who were in the fitting rooms, making sure everyone got everything they needed. She was very helpful in finding different sizes and colors and styles of clothing. She checked up on me and made sure I was happy before I left the store. I did purchase the Energy Tee in Blue Coast. Love the rich navy blue color! I have several Energy Tee purchases from them over the years. It is soft, comfortable, breathable and great for workouts or even worn as a casual tee anywhere. She mentioned the specific item was not on the floor. She said, let me grab it from the back. She asked another young lady to grab her the pants from the back and this employee completely rolled her eyes in annoyance that she needed to grab an item. I walked around the store waiting for the pants, neither of the two ladies came to hand me the pants or advised that they had found them. I had to go ask them if they had found them. The girl that had rolled her eyes seemed really annoyed that i had interrupted her conversation with the cashier. She handed me the pants and said "this is all we have" i said okay, may I try them on? Her response was "sure, any open room" i lead myself to the fitting room and noticed the pants had white marks on them. I kindly asked the cashier for a different pair. Once again the cashier asked the rude employee to grab a different pair. She grabbed the pants, looks at the cashier and says "what's wrong with these!?" Rolled her eyes again and dragged herself to the back to grab a different pair. Comes out and throws them on the counter with 0 acknowledgment. I was so upset and felt so uncomfortable. Maybe she was having a bad day, but if you're that miserable don't work there. Vuori is a high quality brand that's not cheap. The last thing your customers want is disgusting customer service. I really wanted to ask for her name but I just genuinely needed my pants and even ordered a second pair. Although the store is only one level (I had to ask them when I was checking out if there was a second level since I noticed the stairs lol), the store looked like it was fully and neatly stocked. When it came to my returns, the process was quick and easy. The girl who helped me was actually nice and personable, unlike some workers at other A&F locations (iykyk). All in all, great location.
