Since the DSW Designer Shoe Warehouse closed down in Sherman Oaks, I was searching for a new…read morelocation, and I found this one. It is still close to me, but not as much. Anyway, took the chance & went there today around 12 noon. Got a pleasant greeting from Nena and Melissa. Both lovely ladies. Very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I told them that I needed 3 pairs of shoes in black color. One flat, and the other ones with a heel, open toe, and last but not least, nice suede pump with a 3 inch heel. This store is HUGE, two stories that has escalators and I believe I also saw an elevator. While browsing the store, found other things like hosiery, socks, insoles, shoe laces. They also sell boots, slippers, tennis shoes, and more. I mean, it's a Warehouse. Endless opportunities. They also sell shoes by different designers. One of the ladies asked my shoe size and I told her "6". Went to the back and got me 3 pairs of shoes. Tried them on, and they all fit me perfectly by hugging my feet and not letting go. I also got 2 insoles. One small/round toe, and the other one a little longer. It helps your foot to stay in place w/out moving. Store was very nicely stocked, organized and clean. They have a clearance rack, and a drop off box for old shoes. However, they need to be in good condition. Maybe not great, but solid. Good to know for the future. Underground parking validated for the first 90 minutes. I parked outside. Every item has its own value and price. Prices are very affordable. Bought all 3 pairs of shoes, insoles and left the store feeling very happy with my purchases. Thank you all very much. Now when I need shoes, I know where to go!

I'm a huge supporter of small businesses and I like that they're around to keep it going. They were previously Neo 39, now they're just Neo Pasadena. I love that the aesthetics of the place change. They even added roses to represent Pasadena. The way the shoes and gear is lined up doesn't make you feel overwhelmed with trying to look for the type of shoes you want. There's a guy name Rei and he's super helpful. He definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to shoes. I will definitely be coming back here for all my sneaker needs. The place is located underneath the T-Mobile store, so make a sharp left and the store will be down the stairs.

The area itself is lovely, surrounded by lots of shops, restaurants, and cafés, so it's worth making a stroll out of it. I was purchasing the last pair of Converse in my size, which happened to be the display shoes. They had some light signs of use from being tried on by others, so I asked if they could offer a small discount. The attendant's response was very dry and dismissive -- just asked if I wanted them or not, without any attempt at customer service. It left a bit of a sour note to an otherwise well-stocked store.

Every other place I called I had to wait at least 2-5 minutes on hold. I drove up from south Madison Heights and parked on the side street with bakery. Smelled great! Store has enough space even in these times to allow a comfortable browsing experience as long as it is not busy. I ended up asking for the incorrect size for the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 Onyx non reflective, and got a different size one half size up from my normal. I'm thankful that I was asked if I wanted to try the original size I assumed I needed so I could determine the correct sizing for me. This is the clear competitive advantage of shopping locally and at a brick and mortar location. I was able to inspect my shoes to ensure there were no unacceptable defects on the spot and the box which I care about keeping in good condition. To top it all off, the size I ended up with was a significant discount to prices on the market for the aforementioned 380s in that size and the previous half size down, so I ended up saving money choosing to head over to Endangered. Shopping local pays! It's objectively a better experience and ensures businesses that operate at a high level of professionalism will survive and add to our community in Pasadena and Los Angeles in general. Endangered represents this very well and exceeds my very high expectations when it comes to retail shopping experiences. This place has a ton of brands that rep the culture. Stop by, you will not be disappointed. Bring your fresh stuff that you need to clear out of your closet - they make offers on nice articles.
