I got a NORDSTROM GIFT CARD for Christmas last year so I went on the YELP app to search for the nearest Nordstrom Rack near me. This Nordstrom was also located in the same plaza as Boot Barn and Handel's Handmade Ice Cream... I thought to myself maybe they would have good deals since it's a Nordstrom Rack! I did go to Nordstrom a couple weeks ago and I found some sweaters for $40 and dresses for around $70-100 on sale. I'd pick Nordstrom Rack over any other discount retailer. The store is clean and well organized. The Foothill location has a decent variety of inventory for the entire family. We came here recently in search of funeral attire. We found fairly priced Calvin Klein shirts and slacks for my hubby and son. We were also in search of sneakers for my son, but there wasn't much of a selection. I do like the women's shoe section. I usually find discounted shoes that I didn't know I needed til I found them here. Lol Many reviewers mentioned the long lines at the registers. I guess I've lucked out. My visits have been less & less. Clothes are on the floor, constantly, & dogs (not one dog but a few dogs) are running around on them. It's beginning to look like a second hand store. Even their quality in merchandise is less than Nordstroms fine reputation. Marshall's and TJ Maxx have better displays of their stores & merchandise. Buyer BEWARE.... I purchased an expensive Tory Burch crossbody bag at this store. When I returned home I examined the bag inside and out. I went online to identify fake from real. The authentic bag is made in China and it will have a serial number on the tag inside. There were many other features that were fake....etc the logo and much more. To confirm this I took the bag to Nordstrom and had them confirm the bag was truly fake. I returned my purchase to the store and i received my refund,credited to my account. Before I approached the check out counter I examined several of the TB bags and yes they are all fake and made in Vietnam,none of them had serial numbers. The manager immediately refunded my money. She said it was the fault of the buyer. From now on if I want an upscale item etc Tory Burch,I go to the Tory Burch store. Big lesson learned. read more

Horrible customer service experience when trying to find an associate to assist with pulling another pair of shoes. There were zero employees upstairs to help at 3:45 on a Saturday. The one employee that I found eventually that I asked for assistance said "Let me find someone" and radioed to the "shoe team" that someone was headed upstairs. I waited for 10 minutes in the shoe area and no one ever came to assist. Terrible customer service and bad experience all around. read more

It's a hit and miss here. Sometimes I find great bargains and other times I leave the store with nothing. It all depends when they get new inventory in. A great place to come if you're looking for gifts and quality purses. The problem I have with this location is that price tags aren't always on the product. Sometimes they forget to put price stickers on the beauty and sunscreen items. I would buy them if I knew how much they were! I don't like the fact that people try some of the items and make a mess. There needs to be a more sanitary way to package them. The shoe selection upstairs is plentiful but you really have to comb thru them to find the right bargain. I find more expensive brands on GILT for cheaper than some of the same brands they sell. There is ample parking shared with other shops in the plaza and a restroom located upstairs. Nordstrom Rack has good merchandise selection, reasonable prices. However, this business can be managed better, especially with processing of returns. The online pick-up area does not take back returns purchased online. Instead, you would have to go to the cash register cashier to process your returns. I have bad knees, and I use a walker to walk. It doesn't have a chair to sit down, so I have to stand. It was a long line say maybe that 20 people in the line I was looking to see if there was a handicap cashier. I couldn't see anything, so as I was standing in line. I felt like I was getting anxiety. I'm starting to sweat and feel dizzy. My knees were hurting. I was saying to myself, I'm never gonna come to the store again, and then when I got to the cashier, I told the young lady, by the name of Jeniffer, L do you have a handicap cashier, and she said I'm sorry, but we don't. And I told her that isn't right. You need to have a handicap here because a lot of people coming with their walkers and the wheelchairs, and have to stand in that long line, and I wasn't feeling good to look up. I don't feel good. I made a purchase at Nordstrom Rack Hastings Village on September 13, buying several items for my son. One t-shirt was too small, so I tried to return it. Initially, they said they couldn't process the return because the tag was wrong and needed to call the manager. After waiting 20 minutes, I mentioned I had to pick up my kids, and they then told me they couldn't process the return at that time. I bought the t-shirt with the tag as it was, and I have the receipt. I brought it back exactly as I purchased it, so how am I supposed to know if there's a problem with the tag? We went shopping at the Rack on Valentine's Day with my husband best deals in Pasadena! We went upstairs to look around, as we were looking around we hear someone with loud voice saying " I know you are LP" "I know you are LP" "I'm going to yell on purpose to get you in trouble you fat b****". At this time we look to see what's going on, we see this young man with shoes and shirts in his hands moving away from this person who was yelling by this time. This person was very loud and rude yelling profanity at this poor guy who we see just move away from this person and went to escalator and went downstairs. We went downstairs as well, while we are downstairs we hear yelling coming from the escalator and it's the same person who was yelling upstairs coming down yelling. This person comes down cursing at the workers at everyone. saying horrible things. To explicit to type here. When this person got to the exit, he continued his profanity, saying racial slurs, and kept repeating he wanted to "beat someone up". This behavior continued, we just wanted to get outta there and we couldn't because that person was standing right in front, coming back in and out of the store. We didn't understand why this person was not thrown out of the store! How can someone stand there screaming profanity at the staff , at us the CUSTOMERS , yelling racial slurs, making threats of violence and still be able to causally walk in and out. Where was the security?Nordstrom we love shopping there, we are just confused why this was allowed to continue for so long. Police should've been called and/or security should've escorted that person out. We came in with smiles and laughter and left shocked and confused. PS: Do better Rack. I had a very negative experience with Pam today. She had a terrible attitude and doesn't understand customer service at all.

I go to Nordstrom Rack way too much, this location specifically has great selection and is pretty well organized. Much much better than Burbank, Glendale and West Hollywood. I went yesterday and got a million things, but specifically interacted with the sweetest sales associate, I'm pretty sure her name was Sheila. She was so helpful, upbeat, sweet, funny, just a joy all around. So rare to have that experience at any store. I saw her interacting that same way with other customers too. Her energy was infectious and I wanted to make sure I left a comment in case she or anyone that works for Nordstrom can take a note. Definitely made me stay longer than I normally do, very much appreciate having that little reminder that humans can be so lovely. Can't go unnoticed. read more

COVID-19: Social distancing is enforced at this establishment. All of the staff wears a mask. All customers are expected to wear a mask too. Some of the staff also wear gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is open with limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. While I was here doing some shopping in this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They also do not allow pets in their establishment. Parking: In this shopping center, there are plenty of parking spots, so you don't have to worry about parking at all. Prepandemic parking was a breeze. I never really worried about parking except during the holiday season. Black Friday parking can be a pain. But during the pandemic, there are a lot of spots available. The spots are pretty big and wide. You don't have to worry about people dinging your car. Store: The store here is well organized, tidy, clean, and neat. The aisles are a bit wide. Everything is placed in a manner that makes sense. Staff: The staff here are very nice and helpful. I spent an hour and a half browsing through the aisles and found some cute article of clothing. I was approached by the staff twice while I was here asking if I needed any assistance. Nordstrom Rack usually has most of the better clothing that they get from the regular Nordstrom stores. But this is no longer the situation after so many Nordstrom Rack stores opened in the last many years. They're getting their inventory and they become the customer service of the online returning locations. Some of the Nordstrom Rack stores turned into almost like Ross or TJ Maxx. Those Nordstrom Rack are no longer stand out for the customers who are looking for better quality items anymore!
