I'm a frequent customer to Norstrom Rack in Pasadena and it gets worst with every visit. I find myself ALWAYS picking up clothes from the floor after seeing them get run over my shoppers cart and dogs. It does not get get better. Yesterday, in addition to seeing the store in its usual disarray, it felt like I was walking into a dog park (as I never go to, as I am allergic to dogs). There were several huge dogs walking over the clothes on the floor. In addition, they (pets and owners) all met up in the "purse area" to talk and just have their dogs meet one another. At one point one on the huge dog, barked at a Nordstrom employee, she just laughed and walked away. I am allergic to dogs, & seeing how they walk around walking on the clothes on the floor then the clothes are put back on the racks for purchase. I just decided to get out of the store and go elsewhere. I will not return to the store. Besides I do not think this is healthy. read more

My name is Dolly I have been a Nordstrom shopper for over 20 years. I have arthritis and Parkinson's disease. I walked in the store other day I saw this young man dressed in black with black jacket , running around doing multiple things at once. Clearing racks out the way, greeting customers coming in and leaving , while watching the store because his eyes were everywhere. I knew he was some type of security or undercover agent there. But I never seen one before so active so helpful so nice. after I was finished with my shopping, I walk very slow and my body shakes while I walk due to my disease, the gentleman now known to me as Sel or Sal , sorry if I'm getting it wrong. I asked him excuse me do you work here , he answered very politely, " yes mam , how can I help you, I asked him for a chair so I can sit because my pain was getting to unbearable to stand. he quickly spring into action went a grabbed a chair for me from other side of the store and brought it to me. I was so shocked how respectful , helpful and so nice with that huge smile on his face. He even asked me if he can walk me to my car and carry my bags or if I needed water or soda he can go get for me. I was completly shocked. In all my years I never been treated this way by Nordstrom undercover agent. Which I know that isn't his job duty. I couldn't wait to get home to write this review. Mr. Sel or Sal is truly my angel. Found some cute shoes and dress. The service was awesome. I had the pleasure of dealing with Nathan Lopez. He made sure I received all of my points and was super helpful. He was very patient as it was a little of a process making sure that my new bank info had been updated on my Nordstrom debit rewards card. UPDATE: So, I finally wore the shoes I purchased today and let's say that I can barely walk now. As cute as these shoes are they killed my feet. I literally have two hard like knots on the the sides of both feet. I located the receipt so I can return the shoes (you can return to Nordstrom anytime so I thought this place was the same). The back says something like I have 45 days from purchase. Well, I purchased in May but just wore them today (August 5, 2019). So, I called to explain my situation and was told that I was over my allotted time in a nut shell. The young lady was really nice so NO COMPLAINT on her or her service. Looking for shoes for my new suit has brought me here to this place. With markdowns as much as 70% on name brands I knew I can find something awesome for less. Parking lot in the plaza was huge so no problem finding a space. As I came in I quickly realized that Nordstrom Rack occupied 2 floors. The signs pointed upstairs for men's shoes so that was where I went. The men's shoes section is not as big as women's but that doesn't matter. I just need one pair of dress shoes. Fortunately the isles are separated by shoe size so I only had to look in one! I found a pair of Kenneth Cole's for a great price and some dress socks to go with them. Easy and fast! It's the closest Nordstrom Rack to me, and I like that it is neat and organized. The selection is okay, and usually I can find 1-2 items. They have different circular racks labeled $30 and under, $20 and under, Clearance, etc. They also have different racks labeled by brands like Madewell, Calvin Klein. They do separate their intimates from General women's clothing. They have shoes upstairs/up the escalator and also a small Home section on the first floor. There is plenty of parking. One of the consistent flaws since I've been shopping here is that the wait times to check out are always long. They only have 1-2 registers open even if there is a winding long line. read more

This Nordstrom Rack is in need of a refresh. It is a bit dingy, unorganized, and worn. I had a hard time finding things and felt that the clothing racks were so tightly packed it was tough maneuvering around the store. The dressing rooms were in bad shape. The carpet looked grimy and the walls were scratched. I was afraid to touch anything so trying on clothes was challenging. The only good thing about this location are the dressing room attendants and cashiers. They were very friendly, efficient, and professional. Parking is ample and free. I don't get the Rack. It's as ugly and crowded as the Nordstrom Santa Anita store tries to be elegant. There's no semblance of order. And prices are still ridiculously high. I came to grab some socks and I've been waiting in this line for over 45 minutes haha. They used to have a couple cashiers upstairs. Probably their worst decision for this Nordstrom rack. Cause wow. Waiting this line for some socks is not something that needs to be regular. And then these 2 young girls were taking quite long on something. Don't know what it was but there's no way it must've took them so long to add some small talk in there too. The line stayed the same way since I went upstairs and came back down. For years I have enjoyed The Rack's solid selection and competitive prices but this store has lost its way. On a Monday afternoon, while 25 customers stood waiting, two cashiers slowly worked. Only after someone complained were two additional staff pulled into help, while two more talked(!) one seemingly training the other. Second: Every time I would I ask her something or answer her questions she said "huh" , "what", "say it again" So I pulled my mask away from my face to talk and she got very upset and said "you need to keep your mask on!!!" I told her "I never took my mask off" Third: We were making a payment and we're paying off the balance on the card and she asked "how much are you paying on your bill ? " yet she had the check in her hand for the full amount of the balance on the card. This store is full of irresponsible greed. They rather monetize than organize a Covid safe environment. The line to return is no longer available they have everyone inside the store shopping and making a line that reaches the back of the store. People aren't 6 feet apart. The best Nordstrom rack I've ever been to-- not sure if it's because it doesn't get as much traffic as the Culver City rack, or because it's super close to the Santa Anita Nordstrom (or more likely, bc it's in a less expensive area so they fill all that extra square footage with a ton of product), but this location had a good mix of cheap Nordstrom rack brands and higher end clothes and shoes! This is the most organized Nordstrom Rack I have been to. This is probably my favorite Nordstrom Rack in the vicinity of Pasadena and Glendale. First of all, it is so much nicer than the ones in Glendale and Burbank. The store in Glendale is a total zoo with no room to walk. The one in Burbank is pretty new, but the inventory just seems like the bottom of the barrel. Here are some of the reasons I really like the Pasadena store: 1. It is always uncluttered which is a plus in my book. There is nothing worse than racks crammed with merchandise that hasn't been sorted properly . 2. There is ample room between the racks to walk through. See my photos (2) 3. Merchandise is organized by size and designer in the right sections. What a concept! 3. The staff are friendly and helpful. In the past I could not locate one boot in a pair after searching every aisle. One of the guys in the shoe department took my number, searched for it, called me when he found it and gave it to me when I returned the next day. 4. They have a good return policy. I bought some Paige Premium Denim jeans, wore them, washed them and they got snagged by just sitting in them and they took them back with no issues at all. 5. Two levels. The first floor has all the women's clothing and accessories. The second floor has the men's clothing, children's and shoes. This is a really nice store in a nice shopping center. If you need something else they have a Dick's Sporting Goods, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Ulta, Old Navy, Best Buy and a few other stores. read more

I think it was just particular location that was lousy because my girlfriend was with me and she said the West Covina one is way better. It was just kinda weird and empty? There wasn't much in terms of selection of anything really. Everything they sold, they just had slim pickings of it all. There was no variety. The make-up section was so sad, I couldn't believe it. I like saving money on the purchases I make, so shopping at sales and at places like Nordstrom Rack are great for me. This Nordstrom Rack has been open for around 2 years and it's a two-story location. It has the women's stuff on the ground floor and the men's stuff on the second floor. It also has women's shoes on the second floor. I've found some good quality shirts and pants at this location. The other day I bought some Adidas sport performance boxer briefs that were about 25% off retail. I wanted to try them since I've never used Adidas underwear before and the price was right. The people who work here are all very friendly and have smiles when you ask them a question. I love great customer service. They carry a large selection of clothing items and accessories from topnotch brands such as Free People, Calvin Klein, Steve Madden, and more, so you are almost always guaranteed a high quality product. I recently purchased a gorgeous new Calvin Klein bra, some comfy flats, and a pair of black over the knee boots, all of which I ABSOLUTELY ADORE. I cannot wait to wear my new OTK boots all season long! They also carry a limited selection of makeup, fragrances, and skincare products from brands such as MAC, Philosophy, The Body Shop, and Kiehl's, as well as home goods and other knickknacks. The last time I visited this store they had Urban Decay's Naked Smokey Eyeshadow Palette for only $25 (original price ~$50)! I am always having to restrain myself from overspending here (I just can't help myself when I see amazing designer goods at such affordable prices!). I've TRIED to buy clothes but I absolutely abhor looking through the racks amongst really poor quality items. I'm not one of those people who can spot a great item out of the junk. This Nordstrom Rack (NR) is located in this big plaza on Colorado Ave in Pasadena with Petsmart, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Dick's, Ulta, Old Navy, Ross and etc. Not like many other NRs, this location has 2 floors. First floor is generally all Women's clothing and Men's clothing and shoes located up on 2nd floor. When I used to live in Torrance, I frequented going NR there but had hard time finding something I really like that I want to take home with me. But here. I always come and leave with a bag full of clothes I like. I usually dont look through clearance or sales but this location has a lot of cute stuff!! I think I spent hours in here on my recent visit! I dont like it when NR is full of people and this location is never that busy, especially the second floor is almost always empty when you go on weekdays. They have restroom on each floor and its super clean so dont hesitate to go if you need to go while shopping. If the line is getting longer, you can always pay with the worker at the counter thats setup throughout the store with the green clothing. I love this store...They have the best Vince and Vince Camuto clothes and are always $30-40 cheaper than the main Nordstrom store. Yes, you will not always find what you are looking for but its fun searching for the great find in this store. I also love their shoe collection upstairs..I have found great Via Spiga and Tory burch shoes, again so much cheaper than the main store. Service is always friendly, they do have a 90 day return policy but its never been an issue. If you are in Hastings Ranch area, definitely stop here. read more
