Discovered this store while my wife and I were shopping at The Container Store across the street. This store is very clean, well organized, and fully stocked. The entire staff was very friendly, helpful and went out of their way to show their appreciation for shopping in their store. This was a very positive shopping experience

Stopped by this Patagonia in Pasadena because I happened to be shopping in the area. I walked into the store and immediately was greeted by an employee. I noticed the store was fully stocked, neat, and very clean. No complaints here. The exceptional quality and durability keep me coming back to this brand.

I didn't quite understand the hype around Patagonia at first. Many shoppers seem to have the same level of obsession for this brand as they do for Lululemon, but after visiting the store in Pasadena I finally got it - this place really is the Apple of outdoor clothing. While brands like The North Face and Columbia offer similar outdoor clothing, Patagonia also takes pride on its commitment to environmental responsibility on top of making high quality outdoor clothing. [Parking]: There's a parking lot directly across from the shop at One Colorado. The rate is $1 for every 20 minutes, with a maximum of $11 per day (Monday to Friday). On weekends and after 5 PM on Fridays, it is a flat rate of $11. If you're willing to walk, then consider parking at the Schoolhouse Block Parking Structure (33 E Green St Pasadena, CA 91105 - $1 for up to 2 hours). [Pros]: Patagonia has a lifetime guarantee on its items. And just like an Apple Store, the staff here is always ready to assist customers. [Cons]: Hefty price tags. Some of their most popular items include the Men's Better Sweater® Fleece Jacket at $159 and the Men's Nano Puff® Jacket at $239 as of October 2024. In addition, there are only two Patagonia stores in Southern California - one in Pasadena and one in Santa Monica. Otherwise, you'll need to find Patagonia clothing at retailers like DICK'S Sporting Goods or REI. [Additional comments]: You will want to try these jackets on in person and don't rely on the sizing chart. For example, I had to go one size down to a medium for the Nano Puff® Jacket vs a large for puff jackets for other brands. [Conclusion]: If you're ready to spend, then this is the brand to go for. You know what they say - when you buy Patagonia outdoor clothing, you are making a long-term investment as their clothing is high-quality and built to last. P.S. - Patagonia's website has a 'Worn Wear' section that sells used clothing at a discount. However, don't expect to always find the exact size or color of the jacket you're looking for.

    Welcome home new jacket!

Patagonia is a favorite for many due to the excellence in crafting their garments; although, I attribute much of it based on their overall mission which literally states is:"Patagonia's core values are quality, integrity, environmentalism and justice, which guide the company's mission and vision." Founded in 1973 by Yvon Chouinard, an American mountain climber, he has built his Patagonia empire (headquarters in Ventura, CA), on saving our planet, and his clothes reflect this mission. Wearing Patagonia is almost like a badge of honor. I've certainly tried my share of many knock off's through the years, but eventually my loyalty towards Patagonia wins my purchase once again. The quality, warmth, & overall sustainability are 2nd to none. January is a great month to hit the sales and swoop up the 40% savings on otherwise full priced jackets & sweaters.... I sure did and will attach a pic below!

As an ultralight backpacker, for me, products sold at Patagonia stores rarely fall into the category of a fashion statement. Quite frankly there are only two categories harbored within the store's walls... 1. The extremely well-designed and functional things that I also define as true ultralight equipment and then there is everything else. During my recent visit I tried on, compared and weighed the Micro and Nano Puff jackets for my 2024 Pacific Crest Trail bid. The staff was awesome and helped me acquire the data in which I sought. I seriously can't recommend this branch enough to Yelp review readers. A+

Love this place when they have deals. I got a nice fleece pull over for 80 bucks which was a steal considering everything is out of my price range. Place is well organized and just how I like it! Hate going through a pile of nonsense. Customer service is oooookay. The workers aren't friendly but they aren't rude. If you approach them they handled business but they never at a point approach for assistance!

Amazing jackets, I purchased a nano puff and loved it so much, that I went back and bought jackets for my entire family.

But i misplaced the receipt and was unable to do the exchange for the correct item.. This was frustrating for me and i got upset but Emily went out of her way to ease my frustration with a 10$ credit towards the new purchase if the correct item and just gave overall great customer service!

I had a very disappointing experience shopping here on Father's Day…read more My son was using gift cards to purchase his birthday present and accidentally miscalculated his total after adding a $63 pack of football cards. When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.
