When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.

I downloaded the Nike app just to get updates on when Korea's jerseys were put out for sale, and there was nothing. I got desperate, because I really want to buy the home and away shirts, and after looking for places, I found Azteca had Korea's away jerseys on a Google search. Since I'd never heard of Azteca before that, I was naturally wary of buying from them, so I checked Reddit and found threads where people asked before me if Azteca was legit, and a lot of people vouched for them. With nothing more than the endorsements of strangers on Reddit, I put in my order for jerseys for my mom and I. I called the store in El Monte immediately to ask if they'd received my order, and the employee said they had, and given that I'd bought the jersey around 3 or 4 PM, it would ship the next day, which was completely valid. I tracked the shipping from the moment Azteca sent the confirmation and tracking numbers, and they just came in. I explained to the employee I talked to that I'm all the way up in NorCal, and I found them on a Google search, so here I was calling and ordering from NorCal. The jerseys came in, and they are amazing, and I checked other retailers if they had Korea's jerseys, including Nike, Dick's and Big 5, and Dick's was the only one that had any in stock on their website/app, but the inventory was limited. For the time I had to spend looking for a jersey and the recommendations those strangers gave on Reddit, this was well worth the buy and waiting for the delivery to come in the mail. I'd also like to shout out the employee I talked to, and while I didn't get her name, she was incredibly patient and kind with me, so thank you, Azteca. I can't wait to buy my next jersey from you guys.

I have a fear of heights so go figure...I chose to do this, but glad I did. With that said, the guides and the others in the group were extremely supportive, fun and safe. We rappelled from two rock formations: the first I considered the practice run; the second the real deal at about 100 feet. Be ready for a full day - we met at 7:45AM and ended about 2:45PM. A few of us from the group and the guides went to lunch afterwards. It was an awesome experience, am sure to do it again and would recommend these two guides (Olga and Carlos) for anything. RP
