I was just there after having a long day doing legal work. I caught it just before it closed and I really didn't know what to expect. Nothing is priced, and I was just looking in awe at everything. I wanted to buy something since boxing and mma saved my life, and I love the pro product! I randomly asked if they had gloves with the flag of the Philippines a la Manny Pacquiao, and the guy working (sadly didn't ask his name) went through the whole store knowing he had them and found the last pair. He opened the bag and let me try them on so I had to get them. Just because he was nice, he threw in the Philippines glove key chain for free!! But, we as boxers, fighters, amateurs gotta keep places like this open!! Thank you and train boxing! read more

Apparently Everlast gloves aren't well regarded by those in the know and my Krav Maga nephew sent me to Pro Boxing Equipment. Don't let first impressions scare you off. Yes it's cluttered (putting it lightly) and the service is eh, but the owner knows his craft. I left with a great pair of gloves at a fair price. I highly recommend. read more

Unfortunately, the information regarding the delivery date for the wholesale order was misleading. When placing an order with Pro Boxing Pasadena, I advise you to read the documents and not rely solely on what the salesperson says. The actual price is higher, and the delivery date is much later than what they tell you before you make a purchase. read more

Ordered my item on a Wednesday, didn't receive it until the following Thursday. I had to call them to get an update on my order. They said UPS missed them. Ok, whatever. I finally get my package and it's the wrong color. I call them to let them know it's the wrong color. What got me annoyed me wasn't that it was the wrong color, it was the fact the man on the phone (the owner or customer service rep whichever) straight up lied and said they sent an email saying they didn't have the color I ordered. I had been checking my email all week...spambox too and there was not one email from anyone from their company saying anything about my item not being available or sending another color. Then the dude said they called me. I asked what date they called me and when did they leave a message. The guy says they didn't leave a message. I asked for a refund. No consolation products, no upgrades, just my money back. I'll admit I was a little short for a minute with the man, but I had had it with all the delays, and the back and forth and lack of communication (and lying about calling). I know everyone has been hit hard by the pandemic and I get it but it's not an excuse for lack of communicating and updating customers. Finally, the guy on the phone offered an upgrade of equipment as that's what the company sends when they get an order wrong (sounds like wrong orders are a common thing here...) After my experience with their delay of shipping and most important their lack of communication with the customer and and unprofessional processes of not contacting customers via email or any other method to let them know about the status or availability of products, I honestly didn't want to deal with Pro Boxing Equipment and plan not to do business with them at all in the future. There's lots of other options for combat and boxing equipment out there. Check em all out before coming here. Update: 16 days since I returned the item (tracked by UPS) and still no refund has been issued by the business. read more

Great quality fight gears. Has everything you need from traditional boxing to MMA. Highly recommend!

I hate to be brutally honest especially since I love mom and pop shops, and feel like there should be more of these around. But it just did not work out for me. The clerk was very helpful in helping me find what I needed, I was actually just looking for Mexican wraps but ended up buying gloves because they felt and looked really nice. At least that's what I thought. After two sessions of bag work the thread on one of them starting tearing, not cool because they were still new. Went back and Mo helped me exchange them for another pair. One session later the Velcro started to peel off of the strap, seriously...ended back at the store but at the point I wanted to just return them. They were more of a headache then anything, my 25 dollar Everlast glove lasted years. It really made me question the quality of their supplies. The Mexican wraps I used three times also started to tear, the Velcro was peeling off -.- I wasn't able to return the gloves because of their no refund policy but Mo let me get a store credit, was able to get something for my nephew. Hoping they last longer than a couple days.. read more

This store was highly recommended by our kickboxing coach for punching bag. I came on Thursday, May 21 to get one. I was told by the guy that it will be made to order, since I am looking for at least 6ft tall and 160lbs. I paid for a deposit. The guy told me it will be available on Saturday, May 23. So my husband and I came today, to get it. But another guy told us that we should receive a call when it's ready to pick up, and that was not what i was told. Now I have to wait until Tuesday to pick it up. My family was excited to have it around for this long weekend. We have our backyard cleaned up this morning, to get it ready for the punching bag. I am so disappointed. Since this place was recommended by our coach, I am hoping it is worth the wait. read more

Had a good shopping experience here (two months ago, this is a late review). The staff is knowledgeable and not pushy. Pricing is good, not inflated like other places. Went in for a punching bag, they offered the hanging strap and clip for a few bucks more so I got all 3 for a very good price. If you need equipment for martial arts, gloves, punching bags, etc, go to the Pasadena Pro Boxing shop. Nice people, good selection, reasonable pricing and easy street parking. read more

Very cool store! They have good prices and a lot of supplies that you can choose from.

Just to update. Several months later after requesting a refund for my order of over $500, they still have yet to process my refund. After them ignoring several emails and lying on the phone that they refunded it, I made a dispute with my bank about the transaction. My bank found out that they did not refund my money. So if your are planning to order from them, beware they will not give you your money back if you cancel an order. To put it simply, they are thieves. Order elsewhere for your boxing needs. Buyer beware. read more

Great service. Best quality products. Very patient and knowledgeable. Would definitely come back.

They had all the equipment I needed very high-quality equipment too. I can't wait for this business to come down to my city.

I wanted some boxing gear so I could brush up on my skills, and I came to the right place. "Boxing" workouts are a big thing these days and people need equipment for that, but I was looking for boxing gear without the quotation marks. I was in the market for a couple pair of gloves, wraps and some headgear so a buddy and I could do some real but friendly sparring. This place isn't fancy (I'd have been suspicious if I walked into a boxing equipment store and it was fancy), and it had everything I wanted. The man behind the counter knew his stuff, understood what I was looking for, and sold me some good-quality gear that didn't cost me a fortune. That included the most practical wraps I've ever seen: you can even do a decent job of wrapping your hands by yourself with them. All the boxing gloves I've owned started out stiff, but these got nice and comfortable sooner than I'd expected. A glove needs to feel like an extension of your hand, and these (without a fancy brand name) did. When my buddy and I got the gear on, I found out that I wasn't as rusty as I'd thought I was. So he got more mileage out of the headgear than I got. He told me I needed to mention that it was even better than the gloves and wraps were. read more

I was in the market to upgrade my grappling dummy. I've heard good things from my BJJ friends about this boxing dummy and they were right. Great for practicing technique and the dummy is very sturdy. I was informed it comes triple stitched. Very easy to assemble. Comes in two pieces. The total weight of the one I purchased is 75lbs. read more

I purchased a bag and stand from them recently and couldn't be happier with the service and pricing. Their website isn't updated as often as their store prices and it's best to give the store a call or come in if you're local. In my experience, you get a better price and can avoid shipping costs. Specially for heavy bags, if you're local - they will drive it to your house: same day. I forget his name, but guy at front desk was super helpful to get me what I needed and was also the same one delivering my bag/stand. He went out of his way to help me get it setup in my garage and showed me what I need to further tighten down with tools and a few other helpful tips. Definitely glad I stopped by and will be back again when I need new stuff. (Very well priced) read more
