Their free scan to analyze your feet was so cool and so in depth -- it shows your feet and gave all kinds of measurements from your size, arch height, heal depth, and more. While I got my feet scanned, the worker, Talia, was so knowledgeable and took her time in explaining to me and my friends information on our feet based on the scans. Talia was so sweet and when all of us (there were 3 of us in total) asked for shoe recommendations she took out three shoes for each of us based on what she thought would be good for us! She listened to our needs and what we liked and didn't like based on the shoes we tried on and then gave more recommendations based on what we said. This place is so cool, there was no pressure to buy anything either which I appreciate and we were to try out everything we wanted to. While the prices were high, you can really feel the quality of everything from the shoes to the socks. I ended up buying 2 pairs of socks after speaking to Talia about my issue when I run. Once finished and talking about the running groups with their customers I waited 15 minutes and received zero assistance. I asked the gentleman hey am I going to be able to get some help? I think the big thing here is getting tested by their machines to see your running style as well as foot formations to find the perfect shoe for your scenario. We came in with the intention to just get tested and see the options but ended up buying the recommended shoes when the price was the same as online. Yeah the shoes are expensive but it's worth it if you're trying to run without getting injured. Staff here are very knowledgeable and will explain to you everything. After reading the great reviews, I decided to visit A Snail's Pace to find the perfect shoe for my Orange Theory classes. Upon arrival, I browsed their selection and was approached by a blonde employee who asked if I needed help. I told her I was just looking around. After examining their shoe options and fit mechanisms, I asked the same employee for assistance. She whispered to another employee, "I thought you were just looking," which I found quite rude, as customers have the right to browse before seeking help. Despite her comment, I proceeded with the fitting process, eager to find the right shoe. The employee had me walk on a mat and use a device to measure my feet. She also asked about my usual shoe size and workout routine. I mentioned I wear a size 6 or 6.5 and need shoes suitable for Orange Theory classes, which involve running and weight lifting. To my surprise, she brought out size 7.5 shoes with excessive cushioning. As expected, they were too big and not what I needed. Anyone familiar with HIIT workouts knows that shoes need to be relatively flat to accommodate both floor work and running. Overall, I would not recommend A Snail's Pace. I ended up going to Dick's Sporting Goods instead and getting recommended the Nike Free Metcon 5 in a size 6.5 which were perfect! read more

I couldn't seem to find the correct shoe that wouldn't hurt my feet. A friend recommended snail's pace to get my feet measured. I was helped by Ariel. She was kind and patient while helping me figure out which shoe would work for me. After measuring my feet, I tried on 4 different pairs of shoes and 1 insole. Brooks seemed to work best for my low arch. The pricing was comparable to other stores. I think it's a good deal especially with the custom care that comes with the purchase. Today I went to look for walking tennis shoes. Omg I love the service here. A girl named Arias helps me. She put me on a machine to see my foot size foot . I explain to her my left foot I broke my Middle toe. She brought out brooks tennis shoes. A little wider for my feet. These tennis shoes are the best. All these times I brought Nike. But found out they do not carry wide tennis shoes. So I'm so happy with these brooks . I give 6 star to Arias customer service girl. I stopped by a nearby shop with no expectations and came out with expectations for a great running shoe. I needed a shoe that can last for endurance training due to my intensity. It needs to survive a storm - Multi-terrain (mud, sand, loose dirt), shock absorbent for downhill slopes, and breathable. My feet is extremely sensitive to everything. I was provided multiple recommendations from the helper to test out multiple shoes and was to get what I needed. For sure, service was above and beyond my expectations. Yesterday my boyfriend and I visited A Snail's Pace for the first time after hearing several recommendations. We were greeted immediately by a young man with long curly hair (wish we had asked for his name). He asked us what we were looking for and about the type of shoe we were shopping for. He told us to take a seat while he ran to the back to find some shoes that fit our needs. With their scanner we found out my boyfriend's true shoe size and found out that he actually needed an extra wide shoe. My boyfriend tried on 4 different shoes that the worker got out for him to try on. The worker recommended a pair of Asics (his favorite), which turned out to be my boyfriend's favorite. Unfortunately, the store did not have the extra wide in his size because of Asics' shortage. He looked up if one of the other Snail's Pace locations had that shoe in stock for us. He recommended that we look on the Asics website as none of their locations had it and he wasn't able to order it in store for us because it was out of stock where the store orders it from. My boyfriend and I ended up ordering the Asics off of the website 5 minutes after we left the store because of this worker. The worker (again wish we knew his name) was super knowledgeable on the shoes they had. He was incredibly nice and pretty funny too. But most importantly his costumer service was amazing.
