    I came on Sunday August 27th to return shoes, and I had the receipt, so I didn't think there would be a problem. The first cashier told me I could not return shoes because I did not have sneaker bucks promotion card. When I explained the return policy, had no mention of having to have this sneaker bucks promotion card they said that was the rule. When I asked to speak to the supervisor the cashier Emanuel said I am the supervisor. Once i asked to speak to their supervisor, the other cashier, Melissa, who stated was assistant manager stated I had to have sneaker bucks promotion card no exceptions or I would not get refund. I had to drive home and, luckily I didn't throw away this promotion $25 rebate card which you can probably get anywhere, and afterwards I was able to get my refund. I'm placing this post because I'm very disappointed with the customer service I received and more that employees blameupper management, including district manager, for store issues instead of taking responsibility. If you buy anything from this store, hold all your receipts, rebate cards, store bag or you might not get as lucky as me to get your refund. I try to support local businesses instead of buying from major online retailers, but when you get treated badly, it makes me upset because my money helps support these local businesses. Not a great feeling having to run tasks on a Sunday when it could have been resolved initially.

    honestly if the deal on groupon didn't seem great then i wouldn't have ever stepped foot into WSS. so i came to this location twice and honestly the staff is what really would prevent me from ever coming back or recommending this place to anyone. they do say the typical thanks for coming to wss when you walk out but it's like no smile, no eye contact, no approachable factor, no hello what can i help you out with today, etc. when i walk in or during my entire experience in the store. the staff in general leaves a bad vibe. i totally expected way more customer service than what i got here. i was besides myself. i used to work retail and it was always implanted in my brain that customer service is super important. apparently WSS doesn't feel the same way. the two times i've came here; the store is pretty much empty. once in awhile there is a few stranglers walking through but i don't see the staff helping anyone else either. big 5 is better than WSS in terms of service. i pretty much helped myself around the store. grabbed the shoes that i could reach. the ones i couldn't reach i didn't even see a staff for me to ask for help. prices are normal nothing special. come here and expect nothing except for someone to ring you up as you pay. besides that you are on your own. in addition, check multiple shoe boxes with the same size because there's some that is in better condition than others. just FYI. lastly, avoid this WSS. heck avoid all WSS because i would assume that all WSS are the same after my 2 experiences at this location. tips: *shared parking lot with walgreens. *cash and credit card accepted *they have a check in deal *they sell clothing as well. *they have a rewards membership program.

    Shoes look like they aren't good quality. You have better luck going to an outlet to get your moneys worth.

    This place got kids running around. .. it's pretty annoying. . Kids was hiding between clothes n the employee didn't do anything. .

    It's been a while since I had this experience but today I was in Dick's and I saw Emily the cashier…read moreagain and I was reminded that I wanted to leave her a very positive review I needed to do an exchange because i bought girl socks and needed boy nike socks. But i misplaced the receipt and was unable to do the exchange for the correct item.. This was frustrating for me and i got upset but Emily went out of her way to ease my frustration with a 10$ credit towards the new purchase if the correct item and just gave overall great customer service!

When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.
