Small, but cute store. It mostly has Sanrio character items, with a few TokiDoki collabs. I thought it was neat that I saw some rare characters like Kirimi-chan, the salmon filet. I also noticed that they had a tiny bit more merchandise for Pochaco, Hangyodon, Keroppi, & Badtz Maru in comparison to what I've seen at the Westfield Santa Anita. I've been coming to this location for many years. Lots of parking spaces. As long as the plaza isn't busy you should be able to find a parking spot. Today I stopped by because I wanted to buy a calculator. Online people are reselling for such a high price when it's only $17 at the store. They only had two designs for me to choose from so not a lot of options here. Staffs were friendly and they do accept credit cards. I believe their hours are shorter now, 1pm to 6pm? This has to be one of the better Sanrio stores I been to in Cali, and I been to just about all of them. This should definitely be a stop to make if you planned on visiting some of the Sanrio stores. Prices are the same as the other Sanrio stores and online from what I seen. They had some stuff that isn't or hasn't been on the site but Japan Sanrio and imported here. All great prices for those especially since it's harder to get. They had a good variety of things within each character. They also seemed to have the most suitcase selections from all the other stores which was very cool to see. The staff was very welcoming and noticed that my favorite character was PPP and showed me what they had in his collection. Very convenient and made shopping smooth for me. She was also just genuinely a pleasant person. Defiantly a spot I would come back to when I visit Cali again. read more

This location has very very nice things and a very wide selection of stationary and trinket boxes , pens , accessories, plush dolls etc and lounge fly wallets and backpacks. Customer service is very nice and helpful, even though I did not buy anything yet as I am still deciding on what I will buy I will definitely be back to this location because this has been the best Sanrio store I've been to so far for their variety of items . Ever since the Sanrio store near my house closed, I've been more aware of Hello Kitty merchandise and remain on the lookout for new and clearance items. When I saw the familiar dark blue "Sanrio" sign at a shopping center in Temple City (Los Angeles), I just had to take a look - especially since the parking in the open lot was free, convenient, and plentiful. We were greeted promptly as we walked into the well-organized shop. Tokidoki items were at the front of the store and the Clearance section was in the back. In between were luggage, plushies, clothing, car accessories, and more! I was able to satisfy my curiosity by just looking and touching. .. hahaha! I'll be back for another visit soon enough! I love everything Sanrio. I've never been to a physical store before and wanted to check this place out. When I went to checkout with $68 worth of stuff. 1st they tell me they don't accept American Express and then once I present them with a $100 bill they let me know that they don't have change. They don't give me any other options so I just left. You need to better train your staff with critical thinking to be able to help a customer out. They lost a sale and a customer. It seems a bit smaller over here than before when they were next to T.J. Maxx but I do like how they have the characters up on the wall. This is one of my favorite Sanrio's because of what they have in stock. They sometimes carry nice Vivitix items or just items you wont find at other Sanrio locations. This is one of my favorite Sanrio stores. I've been to all Sanrios, and this is one that I've been coming to for years. There is always an incredible selection of items for every character. The store is small, but the staff are always friendly. Just came by today to see what's new and so many items caught my eye. Everything is so cute, and you can't go wrong with any of them. It's literally Sanrio heaven, I love hello kitty, and there's always something new. I do admit majority of the time the hello kitty item I'm looking for is sold out but other characters are available. Can't be upset about it, because it's not always easy to have much quantity available for everyone all the time. I love coming back or checking their Instagram if they restock my favorite items I'm iso. They also had a great promo of the candle which I got half off after spending a certain amount. I selected the apple pie one, it smells incredible and very sweet. If you ever come by the store, one sniff and it'll have you buying it the next second. There are three different kind of candles. All hello kitty and just so adorable. They have so many cute stationaries, stickers, pens, mini pouches, and etc. It's hard to not want to buy all the stationary available. Got to leave some for others too haha There are hello kitty, my melody, Pochaco, little twin stars, cinnamon roll, pompompurin, tokidoki, and more. If you have multiple items you're holding, there is baskets so you can shop with ease. If you haven't been to this location, I highly recommend it and don't forget to bring your bonus card to get it stamped. I got a cinnamon roll little plush keyring as a gift with a certain amount purchased. They had stuffed Hello Kitty's so fluffy you could die! They had backpacks so rocken you would be the superstar of the whole elementary school, let alone it would cost 3 teachers salaries! This place had everything you can imagine for Hello Kitty. Yeah all the shops have the luggage, backpack, lunchpail, etc... but this place had the toilet seat cover replacement too!! AND WAIT THERES MORE!!! They even had a Hello Kitty toilet bowl cleaner brush! If San Rio makes it, they got it. Hello Kitty everything!!! They even have some of HK's homies... My Melody, Chococat, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru, etc... They also had candy and gum, dishes, utensils (including chopstix), alarm clocks, umbrellas, galoshes, it was just a never ending supply of everything thinkable HK. So essentially the end result was my daughter wants at least 5 of everything in the store lol... and is telling me what she wants for what birthday and Christmas until she is 19... hahaha I am glad she has such a fun dream and a great imagination as it definitely makes life a lot more fun. read more

Don't bother going to this store, they aren't letting anyone in even if you have a face mask.. they didn't specify that when you call to see if they're open. Also they tell you to message them on Instagram for the products you want to purchase and pick up but they don't update their Instagram account for products that are sold out so you show up expecting to pick up an item that is no longer available. Such a waste of time! All the other store around them are open so you can go inside so I don't see the point of them even "opening". read more

Store is small and tight I couldn't make my around the store because a few other people had walked in. The staff was rude and not welcoming not even a hi or welcome in. It felt like they were eyeing my kids and myself as if we were there to steal something. I've never been to a Sanrio store before and my daughters really love hello kitty and kuromi so I thought it would be a nice surprise to take them in and purchase something. First time in this store for a long time. I read a note that says no exchanges due to COVID-19. All sales are final because of Covid. when I ask the sales lady on why you cannot return anything because of Covid she actually says because people are touching things and we don't want anything back from what people are touching. Excuse me wasn't I touching before I bought and it's OK for me to touch before I bought but it's not OK for you to return or to take my return because now I've touched your stuff. 2014 YELP 365 CHALLENGE - 332/365 Sanrios are getting harder and harder to find these days. I've noticed that several locations I used to frequent are going out of business or closing. Luckily this location is still around for me and my Sanrio obsessed roomie! We came in the evening this past Saturday. Parking was super easy, and it was my first time going to a Sanrio NOT located inside of a mall. This one is a pretty decent size, although I've seen larger in the past. There was only one other customer there besides us, and she seemed to be a regular because she and the sales associate seemed to be well acquainted. The first thing that caught my attention was their display of the newest Tokidoki x Hello Kitty line right at the front of the store. If there's anything that's a weakness to me and my friend, it's Tokidoki AND Hello Kitty. I was surprised to find some items we had NEVER seen before, such as stationery paper from Tokidoki, to a throw blanket, to luggage, to reusable bags/backpacks. They also had previous/old lines of Tokidoki/Hello Kitty on sale too, which was awesome! I believe they were 30% off :) They had a pretty good variety of different themes/lines/etc. at this store. I really liked how everything was perfectly organized on the shelves. Literally did not see any messed up products and it was really easy to navigate through. Customer service was great and both ladies there were very friendly and helpful. No complaints! Overall, solid Sanrio location. Definitely will be back if I am ever in the Temple City area again! read more

Location/parking: This is located right next to Daiso in the plaza with TJMaxx. There is plenty of parking in the plaza, but can get a bit crowded during peak hours because of the restaurants/tea shops in the plaza. Items: They have a great variety of Sanrio Stuff. They have great inventory and have the newest items! Service: I was looking for a particular bag for my friend and I had called ahead of time. The owner picked up and was extremely helpful. She said she was going to close early because of inventory, but that she would stay open until we came to pick it up. We got there and she was so patient and helpful. She wrapped the gift so cutesy and she even switched the gift bag after she finished because I liked the other gift bag more. She was so nice about it and didn't make a fuss. I have always been a Hello Kitty fan, since I was a kid. The cute stuff is pricey, but always a special treat coming into the store, especially buying their stationeries, and mechanical lead pencils. Furthermore, around Christmas, they always have the grab bags, and I love getting those since it's always a fun surprise to see what you end up getting. Mostly of all, I love the other characters that they have there. However, some of their characters have been retired, and so that was a bummer. My two favorites were Spottie Dottie and Poccahio. They need to bring back those two pups! Either way, I'll still step into the store every once in a while to check out the new stuff that they got. Hello Kitty still rocks, especially no matter what age or gender you are, heheh! :D In fact, if you're a super Hello Kitty fan, head your butt down to Holly Nail Spa Salon, and get their Hello Kitty designs on your toes. This store has lots of good finds!! They get the latest products and shipments from Japan. When the busy Sanrio Arcadia store runs out of their items, I'd check this place next but they often sell out quickly too. The employees are nice and helpful girls. The owner, however, is not as "nice" I guess. She is cheap and refuses to give or use Sanrio authentic bags - instead she will 1. Ask you if you need a bag (even after you've purchased more than 5 items from her store) and 2. Give you a cheap plastic grocery store bag. Once she told me she doesn't use them anymore because people will "waste" them and she'll find them on the ground around the plaza or outside the store. She says they are expensive bags so she doesn't want to give them to paying customers anymore. Also, no trinkets. To me, trinkets are pretty essential when you make a sanrio purchase! They're a nice cherry on top of your expensive purchase. Although I love that this store has the latest newest items, the owner doesn't make the experience as pleasant as I would expect it to be. read more

So my latest obsession are those Jujube Tokidoki Bags. Not just because its such a cute print but also because I can act young at heart when I got two munchkins running around. So why be so serious when I can use something colorful and bright like my kids? lol I normally do all my sanrio shopping needs at Santa Antia Westfield Mall which is like 2 miles from this location. The only bad thing about that location is...when there's a release...there's always a huge line during pre-launch for these bags. I wasn't sure how limited it was but I knew stores got limited stocks so it's no guarantee I could score even online but figure I wouldn't wait all day at the mall just to buy these bags. I checked out jujube's website to see if other retailers were doing the sale and sure enough Temple City Sanrio was on the list. Lucky for me their trunk show started the next morning on release day of the new prints. I called at 9am asking if there was a line. NO LINE. WOW!! Drove over asap and I got all the bags I initially wanted and then some more. This is my first time buying from here and the owner and employee were super DUPER nice. My youngest daughter came with me so she was browsing around the store while I was digging through the boxes trying to pick out the print I liked the most. Super fortunate this location decided to do it the next morning giving opportunities for others to buy. I feel like all these pre launches are super overrated and some of these moms that buy to resell don't give other moms a chance to buy for personal use. Super happy with my luck today getting everything I wanted and got tempted and bought more from them. Please do morning trunk releases the day of releases and I'll keep supporting you guys because it just makes it so much easier for others to get a chance to buy what they want to buy without the hassle!!
