It was my first time here but will be here again. It's a nice store with a lot of things under five dollars (hence the name). It can be very overwhelming when you first enter because while some things are designated (e.g., there's a skin care section, a tech section, a candy section, and a holiday section depending on the holiday), you do have to walk around a few times to figure out what you want. It's located in the middle of a busy parking lot with Sprouts, Sephora, and a flurry of other stores and shops so you might have to fight for parking or park a little further out than you intended. But it'll be worth it. I came here to shop for Easter and got a lot of great stuff for well, under $5 each (a lot of things were like a like a buck and some change). For stocking stuffers, birthday gifts, and or just something for yourself, it's worth the trip. The downside is pretty much what I mentioned - it can be overwhelming. You also have to recognize while a lot of things will be quality, there are going to be things that are literally worth their price so buyer beware. The staff was nice and it's self checkout only. Pretty normal five below with the regular stuff you'd find. Was able to find everything I needed at an affordable price. Most stuff is self service including the register and there was only two employees working the whole store at the time. Not a bad five below. read more

I don't have a Five Below close to me so when I'm in Alhambra I like stopping in here to check what items they might have. They sometimes feature Hello Kitty items and seasonal products. So right now they had plenty of Spring items and things for Easter. The store is big and you can find chocolates, candies, clothing, makeup, books, exercise equipment, and many other things. The name used to mean everything would be less than $5.00 but now I do see items range for more. But it still is a deal. This time I bought some dog products to test out and also an iPhone chord. I was there at around 3 p.m. and the shelves were neatly stocked and organized. The store carries just about everything - party supplies, art supplies, books, clothing, funny Tees, beauty, fitness, electronics, snacks, and more. It's a great resource for when I need small gifts and a good place to purchase items that you don't want to spend too much on. Plus, you might also fund a great $5 bargain. *Self-checkout available. only star is for the employee (yes, THE employee- there's only 1 in the store!). she was super friendly and helpful. that being said. WHY is there only one employee who is stationed on the SELF CHECK OUT and ALL THE BATHROOMS are closed! i came a month ago and the restrooms were closed too, so i have a feeling they're not going to ever open them again. 5 and below changed the self check out so the ONLY employee is for some reason stationed on SELF CHECK OUT to ring your items up for you and it's super inconvenient. you wait in line for someone to use a self checkout machine for you. there's like 4 other registers there. 5 and below has cute items but the in store experience is horrible because of these weird policies. read more

I had a good experience here. My hubby said this place is all junk, but I beg to differ. I like to get the $5 tee shirts and bags of candy. I wouldn't buy tech stuff though. My kids got some toys and books for their friends as well. read more

This review is for Eugenia. I came in today to return the items I purchased and I was told that two of the skus were not populating on their system. The error was due to whoever rung me up at the original time of purchase. Two of the younger girls working there told me there was absolutely nothing they could do to help me, one of the girls even told me she was an assistant manager from another store, yet, refused to do the right thing and offer me back the refund. I had to reach out to another manager of that store and she told me and them that as long as I am bringing back the items that reflect on the receipt that I am entitled to my refund. Thank god she was there because had she not been there to assist me, they would not have refunded me my money back. I give that manager five stars, the other girls did not assist me properly. I don't know why I continue to come here. The store is always a mess, nothing is ever stocked, and the products are disorganized and all over the place. But, that isn't the point of this review. This review is to emphasis how rude and unprofessional Jesus(The store manager) is. I understand store policies but if you are selling a defective product and I'm spending my hard working money on it, who are you to accuse me of lying about it being defective? Even if you were to say "oh, I'm sorry but absolutely no returns" I would have understood but instead you accuse me of lying, are rude about it, and say that you will process the "return" this time is just completely unnecessary. There was not much else in the store I actually wanted or needed so I left with some candy and a drink. Five Below needs to actually hire people that want to do their jobs and train them better at customer service, especially your "store managers". If that's too much to ask for just hire robots. read more

I use to enjoy this 5 and below, but there is this employee and she kept following me around the store. Anywhere I would go she would act like she's doing something near me. I walked around the whole store to really ensure myself that she was really following me and she was!. It was annoying and made me feel so uncomfortable, she probably thought I was stealing or something. I just wanted to go walk around and look at new things to purchase, but she definitely made the environment uncomfortable. She was an Asian lady with long black hair and it was not tied, pretty easy to spot her. Hopefully she changes her attitude and the way she treats customers because that's extremely unprofessional. I probably will not be going back because of her. read more
