I had $.99 bottles of juice in my hand and I put them on the belt. I could hardly think I didn't finish the transaction. I had earphones in and I told the lady at the checkout I'll be right back in. I really need you to open the restroom for me and I grabbed the bottles. The whole store came down on me as if grand theft was occurring. I made it two steps out the door and she came and snatched the bottles from me and I said oh my gosh, I thought I paid and so I went right back to the check stand and I had already swiped my card again and they made her cancel the transaction and told me I was welcome there and I better leave before they call the cops on me. I thought that this was way overkill. I had spoken to two store attendees about leaving to go to the restroom, I said it was an honest mistake, and they treated me as if I was the worst criminal who could ever exist and so canceling the transaction that I was paying for which was like two dollars and not allowing me to use the restroom and the guy actually started calling the police. I don't think he could get a hold of anyone and sure they can review service to anyone but I wasn't there to harass or to steal two dollars worth of juice. I really just needed to go to the restroom before I check out and they wouldn't allow that and after they snatched the bottles, they wouldn't allow me to pay for them. I'm a bit traumatized from the experience and I didn't appreciate being treated like a thief and for them to not allow me to go to the restroom. Sometimes people can make mistakes and should be treated like human beings. So again, I don't know if this killer beehive response was because they have so many bad experiences or they have none and are already to react to any incident that occurs. Just be careful. These people are a bit offkilter.

My boyfriend loves browsing the Hot Wheels and anime blind boxes, and I can spend hours checking out the cosmetics, snacks, plushies, household goods, pet toys--seriously, there's so much to see. You really just have to come see for yourself because the possibilities are endless. This store has a large and diverse selection, and it's very clean and well-organized. Everything is displayed beautifully, which makes shopping a joy. As for customer service, from my personal experience, the cashiers aren't rude--but they aren't especially chatty or helpful either. So I suggest that people go in the morning 9-10 am it's the best time to find all organized and not crowded with people. The security personnel in the front are always there to great you which is nice when you walk in the store. Their is a great selection of hand bags and shoes and clothes I really love it. I randomly walk in Carters...not planning on buying anything but just browsing. Once I took 2 steps…read moreinside the store, one associate welcomed me into the store and asked if there was anything I was looking for. I said that I was just browsing. She pointed to the new arrivals, showed me the clearance sections and said if I needed any help to freely ask for it. While I walked around, each associate made eye contact and said hi then asked if I needed any help. Some retail stores these days have associates just saying hi but there was no eye contact just robotic phrases...but not at this store. Every associate genuinely said hi and was willing to help. It felt great. I was able to find 2 fleece pants on clearance for $3.50 each and took it to the register. The manager Lisa (who was also the same person that welcomed me right when I walked it) asked if I found everything okay and rang up my $7 purchase as if I was buying a $500 purchase. I remembered that I did want to look at Skip Hops Weekender Bag in person. Asked Lisa causeI didn't see it in the store. She quickly knew right away that there may be one in the back. She asked her team to grab it and I looooooooved it. So I grab 2 since it was on clearance. Overall, the team at the store is the nicest and most genuine in helping customers.
