My friends and I are planning a Disney day this weekend with a denim theme. Earlier, I had bought a denim jacket online from GAP as a surprise gift for my boyfriend, and it fit him perfectly, he loved it! Unfortunately, a few weeks later, his car was broken into, and the jacket was among the items stolen. It was such a disappointment since we both had grown attached to it. When GAP's Family & Friends event came around, we decided to repurchase the jacket, and this time, I wanted to get one for myself too so I could match our group's denim theme. I had received a bonus code via text, but when I tried to use it in-store, it wouldn't appear on my account. I was already flustered from the recent unfortunate event, but what happened next completely turned my day around. I was helped by Caleb and Danielle V., and they were absolutely amazing. Caleb went above and beyond to resolve the issue. He looked into my account on the desktop, tried to retrieve my code, and even multitasked while assisting another customer with professionalism and patience. Despite being new, he handled the situation like an experienced associate with excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills. A huge shout-out to Danielle V. as well, who guided Caleb through a few steps and made sure everything was clearly explained. Their teamwork and collaboration were outstanding. I left not only with my denim jacket but also with a great impression of GAP's service and opportunities I hadn't known about before. Gap - Friday night shopping 2022 - Men's Clothing Near Me - Arcadia, California

This is a smaller Gap store than the others I've been to but at least Baby Gap and Gap Kids are here too. They have a lot of items on sale and you can take additional 50% off. (Well this was true when I was here 7 days ago). The girl at the counter was really helpful. She checked for jean in the size I wanted in their computer inventory and looked for it in the pile I couldn't reach. Nice and friendly staff really makes for a good shopping experience. read more

More and more these days, I'm buying gifts for my friend's children. Though Baby Gap has sales, it's still a lot of money to pay for clothes that will only last a baby a few months. $35 for a cotton dress and a pair of shoes for a one year old that she will outgrow in less than half a year. It's no joke when they say having kids are expensive! I love learning about cultural practices. I came here this past weekend to buy a gift for a Korean Toljabee. It is a traditionally celebrated first birthday in which the baby is placed in front of a number of items and depending on what the child chooses, it is supposed to predict the future. If the child picks the book, a scholarly path is foreseen If the child picks a microphone, a future career in entertainment is forecasted If the child picks a ball of string, a long life is expected If the child picks the stethoscope, a career in medicine is predicted If the child picks the money bill, an affluent future is foreseen There was also a computer mouse, but I can't recall what that represented The birthday girl dressed in traditional Korean garb chose the book, foretelling a future as a good student. Never mind the bias in choosing this when there is a picture of ELMO on the cover! The second time around, she chose the hundred dollar bill. Before I left, the grandfather gave me a box of rice cakes. The symbolism of the rice cakes is a wish of long life and happiness for the one year old. read more

T I N Y !! What an extremely small Baby Gap. Listen here, kids aren't shopping in this store. It's silly aunties like me who have to leap out of strollers ways and try not to knock down displays. I made vague notions of looking at the girls stuff though I was in here to help look for jammies (hm, apparently they don't make footed sleepers for 12-month-olds or something). The clearance section is small but adequate. I wouldn't really buy anything here full-priced. Everything gets marked down eventually. read more

I can't give Gap less than 5 stars simply because it's about 50% of my closet and 90% of my little ones closet. This location has a below par sale section because it's not organized by size. It's sort of like shopping at a thrift store because you have to go through each item and hope that maybe you'll find a gem. Regardless, I shop here often and buy from the sale section less. Such a disappointing GAP. I remember back in the day when it was larger and the Baby and Kids GAP were downstairs. I used to work for GAP as one of my first jobs. The GAP upstairs used to be HUGE! Now it's separated into different rooms. I came here this week to see if there was any work clothing I could buy. Everything was super overpriced - we're talking $59 for a plaid shirt that wasn't even flattering. There was also not really any selection (figures, since it's such a small store). I've been to the San Francisco one and it's huge, with multiple floors. Even Pasadena has a decent GAP. Man, if they continue this - the store will eventually shut down at Santa Anita. read more

I understand that this is a rather small babyGAP/GAPKids store. I wouldn't know. I just started shopping there not too long ago because my best friend would lecture me on how ridiculously expensive their children's clothing is. GAP (adults) is the same way, but like GAP, babyGAP and GAPKids sales are also so great. Everything eventually goes on sale. You just have to be willing to risk that what you want will still be available or in the size that you need. The sales are even more amazing if you have a GAP card. It gives you an additional 10% off every Tuesday that you shop. Hooray for savings! It's really crowded in this store because there isn't enough space. There's barely enough room for one person to walk through an aisle at one time, forget easily maneuvering through there with a stroller. You'll be bumping into everything. But the store is organized and I've had a very good experience with all the sales associates each time I've been there. I guess that since this store is smaller than most, they don't carry as much selection. I signed up for a GAP card and automatically got upgraded to their GAP Visa, which means I can earn more points for using it at other places. In less than three months, I have earned enough for $60 worth of free money to use at GAP and any of their affiliates: Banana Republic, Old Navy, Piperlime, Athleta and Intermix. I'm going online to redeem that online right now (because it's free shipping for anything over $50) as well as the $50 GAPCash ($50 off for $100 spent) that I earned from shopping there last month along with the additional 10% off I got for signing up. Gotta work that system and get the most bang for your buck! read more

I can see why there are quite a bit of negative comments... first of all, the reward is that I earn from Gap, has been very difficult to actually use it at the store. thete are all sort of restriction... I can deal with that. however, today, I finally got really frustrated. I was trying to use my gift card, and again, the store is making it difficult.... my advice: dont bother with earning rewards. it will be difficult to use. as for gift card, make sure you have the card in your hand, and not the electronic one !! read more

If I could give this place negative five stars I would. The customer service was lacking and the managers were completely worthless. I had to drive from Little Tokyo to this mall to buy my relative's baby clothing. We bought around 19-20 items and as I got home I realize there were missing items. I had to drive back to the mall and as I drove back to the mall I was speaking with the manager that the employee forgot some of our pieces. They made me wait 15 minutes on the phone and apologize that they were swamped and busy and ask us for our receipt number and transaction time. The manager said she was already checking on the camera. As I got there let say there were some customers but I wouldn't say they were busy. (THERE WAS NO ONE IN LINE ON SUNDAY) I Spoke with the manager again and this time she was for sure checking the cameras and she found out that the cashier didn't miss anything. What the hell was the manager doing for 45 minutes. She said she check the video when she didn't. She could have handle the situation better. I was shocked because I gave the cashier around more than 20 items but she only charge us for the clothes we got. Basically, she under charge us and made us drove back to grab the missing pieces. The cashier probably drop some clothes on the way. All the manager could have said I'm sorry I can't do anything right now but as soon as you get here we solve the situation no she didn't she fucking lied. She said she checking the camera right now but didn't actually the video till we got there. No apology what so ever. And I ask if we could see the video and she said no because under company's policy we can't show you. At the end we had to buy the missing pieces because we were flying out that same night. We didn't have time to look at other places. All the manager could have said was there was a misunderstanding and I'm sorry for the inconvenience but here's a compensation of 10% on your next purchase. No she didn't say that. She said here's 10% because you drove all the way here. Like why are you treating us like beggars when we just bought $300 worth of clothing from your store. Complete ass holes. The people at Gap are rude and they don't know how to handle situations. If your buying multiple pieces make sure you double check your bag before you leave. There are always different locations so just look at a different store because this is the worst gap u been at. read more

Today I found out how horrible The Gap's return/exchange policy is.I received a dress for my daughters 1st birthday and the size was too big.I thought I had the 'gift receipt ' but turns out I had the top part of the gift receipt.. anyway all tags were in place All I wanted was to get something in my daughters size.. the dress was originally 39.00 I was offered 21.and change.. whoever thought of this return policy sucks.I love the kids clothes but this experience just made me not want to buy there again. I'm not sure if all GAP trained their employees to be rude or just this location. I went to this store in the morning on Mar. 1 and the store was basically empty. When I walked in, all I get is a stare from this employee acting like only certain people should be in the store. Maybe if I look like I can speak Spanish, I would be more welcome there. read more

Came because I had $5 off coupon. On Black Friday, the store was pretty organized with good deals up to 60% on almost all products. The store though was short-staffed. We had to wait about 15 minutes just to check out since there was only one cashier. Nonetheless, at least I was able to get my coupon and get a shirt for $5 for my niece. Score. One Xmas gift off the list. Other than that the clothes here are pretty pricey since they are Baby clothes. Definitely paying for the brand. Also you know if they are able to give 60% off and still make money, how much do you think they purchase these clothes for. If you buy one article full price, they probably make 500% margin. Well anyway got to stay in business and pay their employees. read more

They're good for what they sell. Good quality baby clothes and a good selection of maternity clothes for mothers. I come to buy gifts for the pregnant women in my life, and all the little nephews I have. And a nicer jacket from here would last them for years. So if you're looking just for a good quality gift and not looking to buy tons of clothing. This is a nice store to browse through. read more

They always seem to be out of my size in here, so I ordered online and they double charged me!! It was a pain to get my money back from them. The salespeople are ok here, but the store can be kind of a mess and like I said above they always seem to have limited stock.
