The store is open now, I am not really sure what they remodeled because it looks the same. I thought it was closed for remodeling, but not sure now. It is usually busy at this location and somewhat messy. The last time I was here, the service was not that great. I was the only one in line and no one behind me. I asked the young lady if they could check if they had a top I needed in a different size online so I could do an exchange. She said she did not know and she was not able to check. This is the first time someone at a store tells me this. All the other stores I have dealt with issues like this have been able to check and order it for me online. It seemed like she did not want to go through the hassle to check for me. In the end, I just returned my top, even though I really liked and wanted it. I checked online once I left and it was more expensive online. Plus, had to pay for shipping. Money is not the issue in this situation, but the fact that they make it harder for customers when they can help them out by ordering a different size for you as an exchange and not a new purchase, etc. I do like shopping at H&M because some of their clothes are nice, but if they can not help when you ask for assistance, I don't know how I feel about it. read more

The staff member, Gus was incredibly friendly and helpful He made sure I found exactly what I was looking for and very helpful with all my questions. When I stop by next time he remembers me. This was a neatly organized H&M store. Staff was friendly when my Nordstrom Rack friend and I showed up here on a browsing trip. We were just stopping by all these stores to take a looksie and find what sales were taking place. Next time H&M here has better deals, I'll return for some work outfits again. *Review solely on guest service only!* Maybe it's because I work in retail now, or maybe the people at this H&M just coordinate waking up on the WRONG side of the bed! When I came in on a random weekday evening, I picked up my findings and headed to the fitting room. There was no line, and the store wasn't busy at all. The fitting room attendant looked at me and practically SNATCHED the clothes from my hand. Really? Necessary? No words were exchanged, just basically grabbed the clothes and led me to a room. That girl seriously just rubbed me the wrong way. After that, I arrived at the upstairs registers to see that there were about 6 people waiting in line. I didn't have a lot of time, so I went to check downstairs. It wasn't as bad, only 4 guests. What bothered me was that there were two people behind the counter, but only ONE of them was ringing guests up. The other girl just stood idly by watching the girl and folding useless pieces of paper. She eventually got the hint that she should actually be doing her job and opened her own register after about 5 minutes of people glaring at her. P.S. This H&M never has anything in stock. This is my favorite H&M location to visit. Store is organized, and as always, they seem to have a good "Sale" selection. I LOVE H&M's commitment to help reduce waste by offering a clothing recycling program where they accept fabric, clothing, and textiles to donate from any brand in exchange for a 15% coupon. Helping the planet, recycling, clearing out my closet, and I get to shop all while saving money? YES!! The main reason that prompted me to write this review was an exchange with an employee today. All of the employees are approachable and friendly, however I was totally blown away by how above and beyond Andrew went to help me track down a particular item I was searching for. The item couldn't be ordered online, and he happily volunteered to help me find this outfit, calling 3 stores to see if it was in stock. I am so grateful! He was professional, funny, and provided exceptional customer service. H&M is lucky to have such a valuable asset to their company. I will be a return customer for sure. Thanks Andrew!! read more

After reading a lot of previous, random reviews of other people, I decided that my review will be succinct and precise rather than just making a silly opinionated review of this place. Firstly, its where the OLD foodcourt used to be and its 2 stories. I personally do not like the bland, white walled-experience I get when I walk in...but hey west coast H&M has really "economized" the label. When I used to go to NYC, it was such a find to get a nice item from H&M there! It was still a "European brand." Now, not so much. They battle too much with Express, Forever 21 & Guess now...Not my favorite, but you can find some really nicely made things here for some pretty good prices. read more

I am a fan of HnM especially for kid's clothing. I come here to check out some new things and sale. Stuffs here are really really cheap when it's on clearance. It's all about getting a discount on the things I like although I don't have patience for long lines. This store isn't as big as the other locations but it's convenient. I would recommend the HnM in the Americana @ Brand and the outlet store in Citadel. And oh yes, online shopping is still the most convenient. read more

This H&M is probably around the same size as the one in Old Town Pasadena. But for some reason, I rarely find things that I want to purchase at this store vs the one in Pasadena. I find that to be odd especially that the 2 stores most likely sell the same things in both stores. But anyways, this location is 2 stories (upstairs is pretty much for women only and downstairs is mainly for men, although there are some women apparel and kid clothing downstairs). H&M generally has a real trendy fashionable style that is pretty affordable (although not all of their items would be that good of a price at full price). There is a lot of clearance items (I think their section is bigger than the one in Pasadena) as well. I believe the limit for the changing rooms is 6 items total by the way. Overall, a nice store to find trendy affordable clothing (day to night clothing, business attire, club style, normal every day wear, etc). read more

Absolutely the worst H&M store ever!!! The brunette lady with the glasses is so freaking rude and unprofessional. First we stood there for 5 minutes waiting in line while she chats with the lady in front even after she has packed all her stuff. When she finally has time for us, we had to stand there for another 5 minutes because she could figure out how much a pair of pants are and she couldn't bother to tell us what we r waiting for. I'm not much of a shopper, cheap me tries to steer away from the temptation of buying clothes I might not need (and hopes for a nice clothing gift during Christmas or birthday. Put another way, I don't always shop, but when I do, I prefer to shop at H&M. Customer service as some might not like, does not really bother me since I like to choose stuff on my own accord and ask for help when really necessary. I just try to go in, get what I need, and quickly get out of the trap! The main reason I'm a fan of this place is because I can get good looking clothes for an affordable, not off the wall, price. I've had clothes from this store for each fitting season, as well as more showy occasions; all for reasonable prices I wouldn't find elsewhere and that bodes perfectly well with me. In comparison to other H&M stores, this store is ok with me, something I don't expect too much out of. Sure, other H&M stores might be bigger, but I feel they all have the same collection. The color selection is great for me, ranging from comfortable to adventurous. Every time my friends want to go to the mall, I know where to head to first. read more

Currently standing in line to pay (11/2/12 7:15pm) . There is at least 20 people in front of me and at least 4 more behind me. One cashier area opened and the cashier box downstairs is closed, ONLY ONE ON A FRIDAY NIGHT, c'mon ?!?! You got to be kidding. After waiting for nearly 20 minutes, two workers that came out from the "employees only" door opened up their cashier station. I only gotta get the pants I have on hold. After almost 30 minutes in line, I finally reached the cashier and to my surprise, I was correct on the way she was going to treat me. She had the nerve to ask me if I knew where the pants had been on hold, upstairs or downstairs... hmm hello?? how the hell am I suppose to know? I only called to have you guys place it on hold. I thought that was stupid that she asked me, I am YOUR customer.. you should know where my stuff is on hold at, I dont work there! She had this annoyed look in her face and said that my pair of pants is downstairs but she will go get it.... hmm well duh! Your register downstairs is also closed. When we were done with the transaction I thought I would still be nice and say "thank you so much for helping me out" and she didn't even look at me or say "your welcome" or "happy to help" NOTHING! Pretty rude and very horrible customer service here. Not sure if they are just very unorganized, have poor management or not enough staff but this H and M location really needs to get it together, especially with the holidays around the corner. Closest H&M to my house. The one in Old Town Pasadena sucks - they don't have much in stock and no menswear, so I seriously don't understand why it's always packed - especially since Forever 21 is down the block and cheaper. At the Santa Anita location, if you go on a day right where they're putting out new stock, it's AMAZING. Just yesterday, my boyfriend and I spent over $400 here. 1. Great clothes for women - casual, formal, business, whatever you need, you can find it at H&M. 2. Great for men as well, since they have equally the same amount of clothing for men (business, formal, casual) as they do for women. It's not like F21 where they only have one section/room blocked off for men in SOME selected stores. 3. Prices are truly reasonable with decent quality. Honestly, compared to F21, H&M is so much better. H&M would be the BMW, and F21 would be the Kia. Even though H&M's prices are averagely a bit more, you are definitely paying for the better quality. You won't expect button to fall off, zippers to break, or seams to tear - like I do consistently find with F21. 4. The company is based in Europe, so you'll always be fairly fashionable and wearing the latest trend 'cause Europeans are way ahead of Americans on what's in. P.S. Don't think "Oh, I'll think about it and just get it later if I want it..." 'cause their stock and sizes sell out fast! That's the only reason why I deducted one star :) read more

Disgustingly rude customer service. Most of the staff is rude and when I tried to get help with an issue, the guy behind the counter was in such a pissy mood, I'm surprised they would hire someone with that demeanor. Absolutely no help, raised his voice, then continued to dismiss my questions and ignored the problem! Obviously he had his panties in a bunch from another customer, but don't take it out on everyone after. Worst of all, he was the manager... H&M needs to rethink if they want a belligerent, rude and disgruntled employee like this representing the store. I love the clothes and so do all my friends, but this incident makes me reluctant to ever return. If they just take a look at the last year of reviews, they will realize its gone seriously downhill. The clothing selection at this H&M is actually pretty decent, since it spans two floors. The staff's attitude, however, ranges from unprofessional to downright rude. During the day, the place feels understaffed, and what few employees they have tend to ignore you unless you obviously need something (i.e. loiter awkwardly around the fitting room, trying to figure out who's an employee and who's a shopper). Once you have someone's attention, don't expect much in terms of service. No one smiles, even when talking to you; hell, some of them look constantly pissed off, like they're doing you some kind of huge favor by "helping" you. Worst experience was with this one employee who just flat-out refused to look at me, keeping his eyes elsewhere the whole time he dealt with me (getting me a fitting room), ignored me when I thanked him for his troubles. Someone spit in this guy's coffee or something? Sheesh... The "nicest" people you'll find here are the cashiers. Usually they're unprofessional at worst, chatting with each other during the transaction and such, but they're rarely ever rude like the sales associates on the floor. Place can feel disorganized too. One time we went here, they had one cashier on the second floor (lower floor checkout was closed, along with the fitting rooms). Just didn't have a very good atmosphere. If you need overpriced casual wear on the fly, sure, they've got a pretty good selection; they won't be getting anymore of *my* money though. read more

I remembered when the Pasadena H&M location opened up, there was a line JUST to get into the store. I found that very scary, and that location only has the women's and young trends (junior's) section. When I found out they were opening one up WITH a men's section, I was very, very afraid when I had to go there on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't so bad! It wasn't too crowded, and this location is actually larger than the Pasadena location (probably by 33%, I'd say). The upper level is entirely the Women's section, and the bottom level is split between Men's and Young Trends. The racks are a little more condensed, but the selection looks to have the same or even better selection than Pasadena. It seems that the quality of the clothes aren't up to par as before (maybe when H&M used to be just in Europe), but it's still pretty good, prices pretty decent, and their clearance rack have got some sweet deals. I still don't fully understand the concept of guys seriously shopping for fashionable clothes...yes, I do understand they have to do it sometime, but I just never thought I'd actually witness it first hand, and it's kind of strange to see. read more

This H&M was a disaster this past weekend! I have been to this store a couple of times, and I've always noted that it's a bit messier and disorganized than most H&M's (I'd be afraid to go in the dressing rooms). However, this past Saturday, was exceptionally awful. Clothes were on the floor, displays were messed up, and clothes were hanging off mannequins. And I didn't see a single salesperson on the floor trying to put at least some order into the store. It was so messy to the point where if I had even seen something I wanted to buy (which was near impossible because of the level of disorganization), I would have refused because I was so disgusted with the state of the store. I would give this store 1-star based on my experience last weekend, but I'll leave it at 2-stars since past experiences weren't as bad. read more

Oh, H&M, how I love thee! And two stories of goodness! I generally try on clothes before purchasing but I've discovered H&M runs fairly true to size so if I'm in a hurry, I can just grab something and run. This is the case usually when I see how long the dressing room line is. They allow you to take in 10 items at a time. Imagine that! I do appreciate that when I find 10 items but it's rare because as much as I love H&M, I'm still not digging the current "look what the 80s threw up" look. This particular location has two stories but some odd particular reason, they don't have any clothes that I want. And not only that, the quality isn't that great. Here's an example: several of their purses & at times, their clothes are dirty. As in, tons of dust and stains and these products are NOT on sale so I'm thinking, I am NOT going to pay $18 for a dirty dusty purse. Not only are their selection of clothes not good, their customer service is probably the worst. My boyfriend got a long sleeve gray shirt & he went to exchange it for a bigger size. The cashier rang it up & told him he has to pay an extra $7. And we were so confused. The guy basically said it was "out of season" and the one we were exchanging for is the newest season. We're looking at the shirt & wondering "um they're both gray, they're the same style with the same amount of buttons." He tried to justify himself by comparing it and said, see it's not really the same gray. SERIOUSLY? When the manager was called, she gave us an empathetic "sorry". Uh, no you're not. Bad customer service! I'm probably going to be spending my money somewhere else like Macys or Jc Penny because this was straight up ridiculous. read more

even though this place is 2 stories, the place is absolutely crowded. second story consists of womens clothing only, while the first floor consists of a few women apparel along with men and kids. Prices are not exactly what i consider to be cheap. the clearance area is crazy and so packed, especially near the clearance for the shoes that it is nearly impossible to walk through without knocking some shoes down the floor lol... prices are inaccurate, as some items are placed in the clearance area without a sticker indicating clearance of any sort. found the same item after with a clearance sticker. lol, someone decided to slack off. well, i only came because i received a free $6 h&m gc on wrapp and decided to use it on a pair of shoes on clearance only to realize that i cant use that gc on clearance items. what? lol. i read the fine print on wrapp and i did not see anywhere that indicated i could not use it for clearance items of any sort lol.. but whatever. i dont think im coming here again lol. read more

First off, I don't care for the women's side. All the sizes are WAY too big and all the clothes are frumpy, long, bland, boring etc etc. Clothes never really fit me quite right... It's veryyy rare for me to find an article of clothing for myself. I have to look really hard (which i rarely do) or I have to get it altered. BUT the guys side is awesome. I found 2 articles for a friend. Perfect. A button up and a blazer. All in all, nice selection of clothing but you gotta sift through all the stuff or maybe h&m is exactly your style. read more
