The customer service at this TJ Maxx is, unfortunately, really disappointing. This store is super convenient for me on my way home from work, but I'd honestly rather drive two cities away than deal with the experience here. Tonight was a perfect example of why. I watched a manager open a register, help one customer, and then close it--even as the line kept growing to about 15 people. That left just one associate handling a long line, while another cashier was tied up helping a group with a large purchase. Instead of jumping in to help during a busy moment, the manager was on her phone, then emptying trash behind the registers and adjusting carts--completely ignoring the line of waiting customers. The only bright spot was Carlos, who was working incredibly hard and treating customers with patience and professionalism despite the situation. He deserves recognition for how he handled things. It's frustrating because TJ Maxx has great products, but the lack of customer care at this location makes it not worth the stop. read more

My neighborhood general merchandise store? Lol. Not sure, but it seems like they sell everything at a discount. They have a lot of clothes, name brands, too! They have shoes, home decor, toys, cell phone accessories, kitchenware, and yes, even some food items. I come here for their toiletries. Whether it's shaving cream, toner, facial wash, they have it. Their selections is actually very good. Most of their personal hygiene stuff is sold at a deep discount. I'm not sure why, but probably the shelf life is shorter. But still, a year or so before it expires, I think it's worth the discount. Their clothes selection is good as well. Usually it's also discounted because it's already about a year since it was in fashion. Who cares...? T-shirts and polo shirts are always good for work attire. Anyhow, TJ Maxx has been around for quite a while in the plaza. They're always quite busy, especially during the Holidays. Stopped in to pick up a couple of kitchen accessories. This location is one of the smaller stores situated in a shopping center with easy parking. The store was well stocked and organized. I prefer to stay away from overly crowded stores that has their merchandise all over the place. I left with a couple of great finds and didn't break the bank. The line moved fault quickly. I've been coming to this TJ Maxx location since I was a kid. The last time I swung by was on Sat, 5/25/2024, a little after 8:00 PM. The store has changed throughout the years. Some sections, like the skincare/makeup section, are still busier and messier, but there was quite a selection. I don't care for this locations shoes since I'm a size 6, I can never find many smaller sized shoes. My favorite section in the store is the clearance towards the back (next to the mugs and miscellaneous home decor items near the bedding). My guilty pleasure is finding super-discounted greeting cards after a certain holiday, so I was able to pick up some extra cards for future Mother's Day! Restroom: There's a restroom that is open to the public towards the back! Sometimes, you need to go, so it's nice that they offer that. Parking: The store is located in a busy plaza that can sometimes get tricky with parking - depending on the time of day you come. I usually don't run into too much trouble; if anything, I'll park further! Customer Service: I don't encounter the store employees too often other than when I check out. No issues here! One of the worst TJ Maxx I've ever been to. Honestly, the jewelry counter has the worse service I've ever encountered in my life. I've had two incidences where they made me wait 20+ minutes, helping another person who showed up AFTER me. I don't know if it's because I dressed very sloppy, but I don't appreciate that type of behavior. Two incidences the very last week left me with a really bad taste. This dirty blonde older lady with short hair told me she'd help me, but was helping another couple first. No issue right? The couple did take some time deciding on a watch, and that took 17 minutes. Afterwards, she looked me in the eye and said she'd be right there. Instead, she continued to put away different jewelry into bags. Then after five minutes, someone else came in and the dirty blonde woman asked her to help me out. I bought $425 worth of stuff. Second incident, this lady with dark long curly hair. I walked in, no one at the counter, I waited. I made eye contact with the worker who was putting away bags. She saw me and then immediately looked down and continued with the bags. I waited 12 minutes for her. Later on, these two really assertive and interesting looking Caucasian men come in like a storm, talking about diamonds and gold. I'm still waiting at the front. Anyways, I walk towards the back of the counter near the bags, and try to get her attention, but she takes notice of these men and walks into the station asking if she can help. I'm shocked. These men take so long deciding on what to get. It takes about 18 minutes for them. Afterwards, I'm waiting at the counter again, she starts bagging some jewelry and says she'll be right with me. And then all of a sudden this lady with a return comes by and she starts helping her out. I'm fed up, and say are you kidding me?! And I just walk off. This place is ridiculous. read more

The store is pretty standard and I like the hair product section since they do carry brands such as Joico, Sebastian and Paul Mitchell. The cons is that it gets messy. I've frequent this TJ Maxx for years as it's always on the way for me and convient to stop by. I really like the selection and always feel tempted to buy something every visit. This is a place I would go for gifts. It's not friendly for all sizes and fiendish behavior is horrible. Quality of jewelry used to be a maybe decent quality until you open the box one day at its rusted out. Now you're paying a $100 now for the same rusty stuff. TJ MAXX is absolutely my go to for home supplies and kitchen supplies and clothes for your wardrobe. They have a lot varieties for a very great price. If you're lucky, you may find the special items with the red tag with extra discount. It has mostly clothings from children to adults in the center. You can find workout clothes, work attires or clothes you can lounge at home. EVERYTHING! If you are patient enough to dig. Same with the shoes and handbags. great selections and prices. My favorite section is definitely the kitchen section. I always have to walk down this aisle whenever I'm here thinking maybe I will find something nice and useful. You know, I love shopping at TJ Maxx, Marshalls & HomeGoods, and this location surprises me every time. Not one of the locations I frequent because it's a bit far and not as clean as others but this location has soooo many great items at bargain prices! I love buying Kitchen, Beauty and Pet stuff and this location is by far the best location to get the Beauty items for almost free! I was able to score a lot of items that is sold at Sephora or online for $3 each! That's a steal!! Now, I am going to come here more often even if its a longer drive because I can always find great stuff here. One thing this location lacks is the food section. Managed named Dina M. was obviously poorly trained. She tried to tell me my giftcard was insufficient and that you can not enter the amount dollar to be used on the card, it will automatically take the whole amount. While her cashier made a mistake and input my pin as the amount. When I received the receipt it obviously said I had a balance left in my Giftcard and they made a mistake. She continued to tell me it was not possible although there is obvious proof, and humiliate me more by saying it doesn't work that way. I worked at retail, restaurants and other company and giftcard balance can be used according to your liking, just like a credit card if you want to split payment. She is rude, and obviously should not be a manager because she does not know what she is doing, or have any customer service experience to be a manager. I like TJ Maxx but this location not so much. I was checking out recently and Fernando was the cashier. I showed him a water bottle tumbler that I wanted to buy and showed him the dent at the bottom. I ask if I can get a discount because it was dented and he then tells me that water bottle tumblers that are sold there are all dented and crooked and that's just how they come and they are already discounted. Say what now? I have never known TJ maxx to sell dented broken items without giving an additional discount. Those items are never going to sell without an additional discount. This place has lots of variety for Christmas gifts. My husband and I brought way too many things. That we went back to return today. The staffs are usually very kind and friendly here. Stopped by to look at some summer themed towels and linens and what's new. Always some pretty good deals around. They have season end, surplus and close outs from Major manufacturers. You see these Turkish towels from Tahari, Hotel and POLO by Ralph Lauren. Some linens by Nicole Miller, LAUREN and Cynthia Rowley. If you see it, you like it, put it in your cart and watch it before somebody else gets it. It won't be there next time. TJ Maxx is a special place where I can spend 1-2 hours browsing (and finding things I never knew I needed) without feeling bored. However, this particular TJ Maxx store is smaller than most other stores, and the lines tend to be crazy long. Although there's a good variety of products available at this store, it cannot be compared to those of the bigger locations. The parking lot is big, but it gets really crowded on the weekends. It's free parking, so I can't complain. read more
