Can't deny a great deal nowadays. I'm pretty sure I stopped by this location at least 3 times this week. That's a luxury in my opinion have an abundance of grocery stores in a condensed area. I'm surprised that Grocery Outlet never has a full lot. I love coming here for such great deals on groceries and common house hold items. There is a different type of satisfaction when you're saving money and getting great deals. There is a wide variety products and new ones pretty often. I see it as a treasure hunt and what I might find on my next trip. Their selection has expanded over the years since they have opened. There was only a one in a million chance that the product I needed was sold out (more because there was a deal it).

This store is required by law to recycle bottles for cash, but even the manager on duty didn't know how to do it. (I overheard he wasn't trained on it) Then an employee proceed to lie that they are too busy to do it and only certain people can do it and told me to come back on Monday... cmon it's Saturday. If your reason is busy then how about in like 15-20mins? Can't you do it then??? Why come back on Monday??? If your whole shift don't know or how to do it, just be honest!!! Don't lie to my face like that!

Chobani Greek yogurt strawberry flavored. It's $5.59 but it's a day late from the expiration date.

Came here because I received a gift card from a friend of mine. I purchased this chobani Greek yogurt but it's already expired. And any items that are expired should not be on the shelf for customers to buy. Employees should is pay a little attention on each food item and throw away items that are expired. But other than that, it was an alright experience.

Pascual Castro. I walked in the store today and walked down the first aisle to look at the metal water bottles. About 90 seconds later this man comes up and says what did you put in your pocket ? Confused I said, what ?! He said show me your pockets, i show him that all I had in my pocket were my wallet and keys. He says, must be someone else. DOES NOT APOLOGIZE or say anything to for the mistake. I ask him, who said I put something in my pocket ? He refuses to tell me anything. I say, show me footage of anything close to me trying to put anything in my pocket. He says, leave my store. I said, because your falsely accused me and are embarrassed, you're asking me to leave ??? What kind of business practice is this ? I proceed to purchase the 2 items that I initially came in for and left. I've never been so upset or even accused of anything like this EVER. Needless to say I will NEVER come back

Background On Visits: I'm a fan of snacking and have a confession. I'm guilty of walking/driving to this location with intentions to buy chips, cookies, or drinks and eat them while I am in transit. SHAME *DING* SHAME *DING* Restrooms: There is a restroom available. Ask a cashier for the key. Credit Cards: They're accepted. Cash: It's accepted but due to the coin shortage, they prefer that you give them the exact change. Location/Parking: Believe it or not, but this grocery shop use to be Fresh and Easy. Once they got bought out, the named changed to Grocery Outlet. Fun facts are cooool! Located in the back of East West bank on the corner of Rosemead Blvd and Valley Blvd. Decent amount of parking spaces for all. If you can't find a spot, you can park on Steele St. or along Valley Blvd. Postivos: 1) Prices on most items usually lower than other grocery shops. 2) You get to try out brands that you've never heard of before. 3) Staffers for the most part are friendly and attentive. 4) They have discounts on wine. Stay thirsty, mis amigos Negativos: 1) Wait time can be long to pay for your produce. There's usually one or two check out lines open at one time 2) Make sure you look at the expiration date. In the past, I have purchased things that were heavily discounted because of how close it was to the expiration date. Fin!

Do they still sell plants here?

Is there anyway to seach the products they have there?

Not really. Unfortunately they get what they can get, so as a consumer you are limited to their limitations.

The aisles were too crowded. I had a walker. My friend, in a wheelchair, had a difficult time managing. Something got caught on his wheelchair, and it wouldn't let go. Finally, my friend is a wounded veteran. That's why he uses a wheelchair. He rarely uses his benefits card. He had asked the day before the benefits worker about the parameter of card usage. The worker didn't explain that his card was only for FOOD. He had an exorbitant amount of credit, but it could only be used for food. At the check out, the white woman must have known the rule, because she bagged the food separately from the non-food. She shamed him for making a long line. Maybe had we been white-not me black and female and him Vietnamese and male-disabled or if I had had sex that time, then maybe she would have been respectful. I'm the daughter of a deceased veteran and my friend in the wheelchair, wounded from the war in Iraq. She should try harder. Oh, yes, she was the only one of the staff that was proficient in English. Had the business truly been accommodating, there would have been more space for wheelchairs and walkers. Also, a sitting area for elders and disabled would be there. Finally, common courtesy may go a long way.

If you are a fan of the Huntington Collection in Pasadena, you'll be sure to love the Bargain Box. Just like the Huntington Collection, I can't call it a thrift shop since it's not like any thrift shops I've been to! Looks more like an expensive antique shop when you step inside. I was blown away by the quality of the available merchandise, especially the housewares and decor. It's very evident that all of the pieces on sale were meticulously cleaned and staged by the hardworking staff. All of the furniture and housewares are excellent condition, not to mention very well priced. Make a point to visit before Halloween! The store is all decked out with Halloween decor! The Bargain Box is managed by the Assistance League of Arcadia, and one of their worthy endeavors is Operation School Bell, which provides much needed clothing as well as school supplies such as backpacks and books to children in need in neighboring local schools. There's a small parking lot but there should be plenty of street parking available if needed. Also, be aware that the store has limited hours since it's managed by volunteers. It's only open two days a week, Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm.

Clothing, jewelry, books...they carry a little bit of everything here. I enjoy browsing the racks and shelves even when I leave empty handed. Good to know: They are only open on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I suggest subscribing to their email list so you know the weekly happenings before you visit. The lot is on the smaller side and it fills up pretty quickly. There is plenty of street parking on Live Oak, but that also fills up on Wednesdays. If you arrive a little before opening there is usually a short line outside to get in, but there is never a mad rush to get in or anything, so don't let the line scare you away!

Anyway, we looked over and saw dustpans. I've been wanting to buy a new dustpan because the old one was damaged when I had to use it to shovel snow a few weeks back when the high desert had a snowstorm. Yes, you read right... I used a dustpan to shovel snow (1st time shoveling snow + using a dustpan to do it) LOL... it wasn't too bad actually. One gray dustpan was $4.49 + tax... not too shabby and it's the sturdy type, too. I didn't check out any other items in the shop, but from what I can tell, they do have some nifty knick knacks, small appliances, general household stuff, etc. It doesn't have a lot of space for customers to walk around though... there are only 2 aisles really... the one closest to the entrance and the one on the other side of the wall LOL. I grabbed one dustpan, waited in line (wait wasn't too bad), and paid cash for it. The lady at the cashier was pleasant. She may have been the owner... not 100% sure though. If you happen to be hanging out at the food court, swing on by and see what fun stuff you can pick up from here. Happy Shopping!

Overall, a pretty neat place to visit and check things out!
