I read this Ralph's fry fish so I arrived at 11:30am on MLK day to try it. I asked before hand yes they fry it. I bought 2 pieces of catfish to be fried $10.55. The fish guy says he uses Cajun seasoning for the fish. The wait is 15 min so I walked around the aisles. The aisles are clean and well stocked. At 15min, my fish was ready. It's lightly fried which it broke apart when I tried to move it to my plate. I couldn't taste the Cajun seasoning. Otherwise the fish tastes fine. Nice place to get fried fish.

Maybe don't buy their Krispy Kreme doughnuts. Flies all over them. This is a health hazard and the second time I have seen this in their bakery.

I went into Ralphs looking for a good size condolence bouquet. I'm so happy I met Jasmine here. I showed Jasmine a photo of how I want the bouquet to look like and she made it way better. Most importantly, the bouquet ended up being so much more affordable than any other flower shops around the area. She did a fabulous job. I highly recommend Jasmine for all your flower needs. You won't be disappointed!

As if it's not hard enough to be black in America today, Ralph has updated their self check out software to sit there and take video so that clerks can replay live whenever the machine assumes you are stealing. If you are too fast because you've been using self checkout for years, you have to sit there and watch a clerk replay five videos of you placing food in a bag. And then when you adjust to drop the food in the bag, so it can be clearly shown it's leaving your hands. The machine breaks down because it does not understand while you are not arrested for being black.

Bags that didn't even survive one shopping trip. Total price for the groceries that the bags couldn't support? $149.

It's bad enough that the grocery prices are high, but now the bags are the weakest paper bags in the industry?!? They begin tearing as you bag your groceries! Trader Joe's bags are far stronger and can actually be used more than once. This is a total rip off and Ralph's is at the peak of screwing their customers.

What a joke Ralph's has become.

Once upon a time, the flap meat was good here. Now, they're selling it for $13.99 a pound and it's full of fat. You stingy mf's need to stop ripping everyone off!!!! The last 5 times I have purchased flap meat, half the container is fat. Wtf is wrong you bozos? And I can tell they are hiding the fatter pieces underneath another piece so you can't tell when u buy it. I won't be spending another penny at this greedy DUMP. Refer to my photo for proof! Sick of it!!!!!! $22 for half of my meat to be full of fat?!! This is a disgrace.

How exciting! Parking can be difficult since it is pretty small and this spot is always busy regardless of the time and day! NOTE: You can only enter thru the back door by the parking lot because the front door is usually locked. Inside has such much variety of sushi, Japanese merchandise and groceries, as well as a fish market located all the way in the back. The fridges are packed with lots of variety of sushi and bowls. Love how you can choose any fish from the glass window and the staff will ask whether you want it sliced or not. The line is always long so be prepared to wait but it moves quite fast. Pricing is so reasonable and most of the sushi are $9+. Such a steal! Staff was friendly and welcoming. I used my SGV Food Passport and redeemed a free salmon avocado roll (or California Roll). What a deal! It came with 12 mini rolls packed with salmon and avocado. The salmon was so fresh and delicious! This is one of my favorite rolls there so glad I got it free! I also got the Unagi Sushi. It consisted of 12 mini eel rolls. It was stuffed with eel and packed with flavor. It tasted so yummy and fresh. Definitely one of my favorites! Last but not least, got the Nigiri! It consisted of tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. This was my absolute favorite! It was so buttery and fresh. It literally melted in my mouth but how soft it was. The portion of fish was so generous and so good! Absolute must get! Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and my food so I'll definitely recommend and return.

There was a considerable queue for ordering, and similarly, a lengthy line at the cashier. They offered an impressive array of candies, snacks, teas, sake, and various other Japanese products. I certainly plan to return, but I will ensure my next visit does not immediately follow working hours.

I have been to this Asian market a few times and am actually surprised that the price of produce is really cheap. But you do have to be aware that the fruits may not last as long as maybe going to another market like Smart & Final or Stater Bro's. Also there have been times when I have seen produce starting to mold/ have spots. During cherry season, I was surprised to find that this market sold rainier cherries (I actually love these more than the red ones) for $1.98 per pound where as other places are selling them for anywhere from $5 to $7 per pound. It is very busy when some of their produce like that is very cheap (because you know you just aren't the only one who thinks that is a good deal). The rest of the market itself has a similar layout as what you would expect at other Asian markets. And on our past visits, the market has been clean and did not have that familiar odor that may be associated with Asian markets. One thing I thought was interesting though about this market is that you need to have a minimum purchase of at least $5 for credit card transactions. I have only seen a small number of markets that have a minimum for credit card transactions and just wanted to bring that up for those that don't normally carry cash but wish to grocery shop here.

What really pissed me off today was the cashier at station 6 (older Asian lady with her hair in a bun and with glasses). We were waiting for bags and she started telling us to put the items in our cart. So, we just assumed she was out of bags and we started putting the items into the cart. When it came time to pay, that's when this db decided to hand over bags and shot a bag at me while I was picking up items in the cart. Of course I ask her why the fuck she threw the fucking bag at me like that. Did she understand? No idea but she did stare back at me.

The market is huge, well-stocked, and extremely clean. Fresh fruits and vegetables, quality meats and seafood, neatly stocked deli section, etc. But my most favorite area of the supermarket is their enormous aisles of snacks! Yes, international snacks galore. Rice cakes, Peppero sticks, seaweed, dried squid, international Frito Lay potato chips, etc., just to name a few. Lol. I usually buy their fruits here as they're always fresh. Their seafood and meat section imo, is a bit more expensive than other markets. But the quality never disappoints. You could pretty much find most of your grocery needs here. Again, the aisles are clean and well stocked. H Mart also has a food court area that with an abundant amount of seats. They're always busy as well. People go there for meals or to orders to go. It's convenient and it's also affordable. Overall, the location is convenient for me, and their parking lot is large. However, the lot os also shared with other businesses in the plaza. I like the cleanliness, and the many choices of food items offered here. Yes, it's my go to for my Asian grocery food needs.

So already an eh sign. Walked in & just started looking around to see if I found anything to try. I did not but also came in with a list of items I wanted already & I only found 1 item on that list. I asked 3 people on the floor if they knew where this was or that was, & no one knew where anything was or spoke any English. So myself including them were all confused lol The whole store smelt like fish, which okay I get they have a whole section dedicated to fresh fish / sushi bowls served but wow it was a strong smell throughout the whole store. Made this trip really quick. Decided to cut it early, I left with a bag of chips & a ramen for lunch & chose to get the heck out of there lol The cashier hayde did not greet me or anything either! So no customer service, just started ringing my items & asked if I needed a bag lol So yeah overall not the best first time overall experience ! I will say the ramen I chose is yummy! This is a serious food safety concern. Ink is not meant to contact raw meat, and consuming it is potentially harmful. When I brought this to the attention of manager Roger, rather than taking responsibility, he deflected by saying to "blame your governor" for the biodegradable bag requirement. That response is completely unacceptable. Regardless of what bags are mandated by law, it is the store's responsibility to ensure the packaging used for raw meat is food-safe and does not contaminate the product. If biodegradable bags are required, the store should be sourcing ones with food-safe, non-transferable ink -- or using proper butcher paper or certified meat bags as a liner. This seems to be a budgeting and supplier decision that the store controls. Customers should not be taking home ink-contaminated meat and then be dismissed when they raise a legitimate concern. I will be reporting this to my local health department and recommend others inspect their meat purchases carefully before consuming. Has this happened to anyone else? I was told I was the only one who this had happened to. Thankfully I did receive a refund.
