Honestly, what has happened to your fried chicken? It used to be pretty good. Now, every single time I go there thinking that one last batch was probably just a bad one, it turns out that it's all been consistently bad. You need some serious quality control here at this station. First off, you have mounds and mounds of this chicken sitting under a heat lamp. You should probably cook them in smaller batches. Also, almost all the pieces are either overcooked, unevenly coated, or both. The last pieces I bought from your store were practically inedible (one piece was like biting into a cowboy boot). Even your workers know that some of those pieces are not good, so they have to dig through the pile to get you decent looking ones. So, what's happening here is you're probably ending up throwing all these pieces out at the end of the day, and you're wasting food and money. And your staff should probably have a little more pride in what they're putting out there. It's just a sad, sad look. Just my two cents!

Emergency trip to Stater Bros market. BIL ran out of IPA beer! LOL! So off we went to the store. I got some SkinnyPop so good trip! They have their own parking lot and WiFi.

My first time at Stater Bros and am kicking myself for not shopping here sooner! Prices are great and much better then my local grocery spots that I go to due to convenience. Bye bye Ralph's! Some things I saved on are: Stater Bros Large Brown Eggs are currently buy 2 dozen get one FREE; 3 dozen large brown eggs under $10! Another comparison is case of Martinelli's Apple Juice was $21.99 here verse $24.99 where I normally buy it. Tito's Vodka $18 compared to $21 elsewhere. Even National brand kids diapers were less at Stater's than where I usually go! Hey, every penny counts right! I forgot I came for the steaks... Meat Department here rocks! Good quality beef cuts on display and again reasonably priced. Certified Angus Beef brand is the "premium beef" at meat counter... The Choice selection was abundant but I didn't check it out. Also, the butcher department can customize your cut selection, tenderize, grind, season, and vacuum seal your meat at no charge, if you request it. The market was highly busy during my visit and all check-out stands were available - I was in and out in no time! Fully stocked and clean, friendly service, reasonable prices equals repeat visit from me and 5 stars all the way. I love it here!

since when do you need an id to purchase a lighter? the manager, roxy becerda said it's california law on matches and lighters. lol someone obviously doesn't know what she's talking about. p.s. even the person bagging my groceries said they've never seen someone get carded for lighters.

    Purchased moldy food

This isn't the first time! It's local and convenient so we shop here, but this happens too often! Another item we just purchased arrived with mold.

Very clean and well stocked. Definitely would come here all the time if I lived close by.

My 4 bags that I brought but stuffed everything in one bag but the young lady put the loaf of breads in the front of the cart?

I use to be a Vons shopper but switched to Stater Bros shortly after it opened. I love seeing the general manager and other management on the floor assisting with guests & making sure their face gets seen. What I don't love is turning into a line with a light on and seeing the cashier & bagger girl chit chatting while there are lines forming and YVETTE the cashier wasn't helping her co workers get the line down. I was in a rush & asked if she was still open & she said yes. As I'm putting my 16 groceries on the belt I heard her LOUDLY "whisper" to the young lady bagging the groceries, "I should have said no". They laughed about it but I was livid to say the least. How rude ? I'm sorry I inconvenienced your talking time during peak time. I'm sorry I had 16 groceries on your belt. Her comment was Unacceptable & unnecessary. Very ignorant comment to make when it's your job as a cashier to ring up guests. Find another job if you don't like what you do. The young lady needs to be trained on how to bag groceries properly. I brought 4 bags from home & she stuffed everything in one bag & put both loads of bread in the front of the cart UNBAGGED. What kind of sense does that make? I re-bagged once I got to my trunk. Bring back hospitable cashiers that don't make snooty comments for guests to hear like Stevie, he was great! I always went to his line because I knew I'd get 10/10 service every time. There was another cashier that I loved. He always had a joke in the back of his pocket but I can't remember his name but I no longer see him. My visit was on the 15th. Also, I stopped by today the 17th & whoever did produce put an Organic Cilantro bunch in the reg. Cilantro. I did not notice until I was in Maria's line & told her about the 40 cent difference & she cut me off and said "do you want it or not?" . It was only 40 cents so I paid for it but it was the attitude that I didn't appreciate. The principle is your guests see the amount not the label to see if something was mistakenly put in the wrong section & have to find out at the register.

A co-worker brought his lunch in his paper bag. He also had chocolate rice krispy treats. He had 4 of them inside his bag, he gave me one. I asked him which market had these treats? He told me he bought it from Amazon. I checked Ralphs and Vons and they don't carry chocolate rice krispy treats. Then I searched instacart, and they said Stater Bros had them in stock. Today, I came by this Stater Bros, but they only had one and it was the last one because it said on the shelf that this was a discontinued item. I feel lucky, I bought the last one. Unfortunately, if you want to buy chocolate rice krispy treats, you're going to have to buy it from Amazon.

This Stater Bros has insanely amazing service. I came during rush time on a Saturday. Since I was looking for tri tip and sliced cheese, I had to go to the service counters for both. I was greeted promptly upon arrival and the workers sliced everything exactly to my specifications. My experience was markedly better than ones I've had at other local markets. Will definitely be back!

The name "King" is a homage to honor their father, who was known to be the king of fruit. Super King Market is best known for their produce, excellent quality and very affordable prices. The market itself is very international in which you can find Middle Eastern items, Hispanic items and also Asian grocery items as well. I really love Super King and so does my husband. After my husband had discovered the location in Claremont (I actually had shopped there before he did, many years ago), he just has this desire to visit the other locations. We have already visited the one in Glendale, which is my least favorite of the 3 that we have gone to so far. This location is cleaner and does seem to be bigger (but I prefer the set up and layout of the location in Claremont. The parking is way better than the other 2 locations that we have visited). Anyways, we came by this store on a Saturday and it was definitely busy. But not so busy that it felt crowded (but can't say that will be the same for you if you come on a weekend). The first selection I love to visit is their produce section. There is such a vast variety of different, good quality, vegetables and fruits. And what makes this section even better is the fact that the produce is so cheaply priced. A market like this really encourages you to choose healthier choices of fruits and vegetables (and also whole grains. The dried grains, rice + beans section is also very cheap, as compared to the typical American market like Von's, Ralph's, etc). I also love all the different types of breads that you can find on the other side of the store. The prices for whole wheat pita bread is very cheap too (and also the regular pita bread for those who don't appreciate whole grain foods and don't get enough fiber in their diet). Be aware that a lot of their fresh breads have a short shelf life so make sure you finish your bread before they go bad and have mold :( Customer service at the register was just whatever, but I don't come to this market expecting it to be stellar, so that doesn't bother me. The prices are great here, the selection of food items (in many different departments, not just the produce) is excellent and would come back to this location more often if I lived in the area.

But the elderly can't do that so it's why the lines are so long. Now here is the kicker. At the end of the checking line is a manager ...sometimes 2. A man and a woman. They are observing the long lines...counting something...just observing. It would help if THEY just go to the end of a long line and start bagging! See, that would be cool! You see you guys have not scheduled any baggers and the lines are so long they are down the aisles .. and you are just standing there? Of course they may say, well that's not my job. But that's the mentality that keeps things moving slow. It would be so nice if people just did what it takes to keep things moving. Either hire enough people OR get in there and start bagging! I remember back in the days there was a bagger at the end of each checkout aisle. A bagger and a casher! Those days are gone ...and most stores now see if they can get away with overworking the checker! Next thing you know they install self check outs! Rather than hire people and keep a system of people working they just get rid of people and have 1 person observing (like these managers were doing). What a world we are moving towards. But anyways that's what you see. I wish they would just hire bag boys and go back to the good ol days.

They have the salad station, olive bar, hot foods with asian food. Soo many things. There is even a dining area if you plan to eat there. I saw they sold mila dumplings that ive see online. Pretty interesting. Will come again to explore. They even have amazon pick up and drop off next to the escalators. Parking is on the bellevue side next to the storage.

If I could give 0 zero stars for the customer service at this store, I would! No one is around if…read moreyou need help on any of the isles, the pizza lady from today had the worst attitude and made a cheese pizza that had 5% cheese on it and half unbaked (who's hiring the pizza workers???) It went straight to the trash, and never will I buy pizza from here again. Another time, the pizza stand was completely empty and I saw numerous packaged pizza doughs that looked like they had been out and over proofing for wayy too long! It wasn't refrigerated, and when I asked what happened, they said the burner broke down. If that's the case , you need to refrigerate the dough or hire someone that cares enough to handle food properly there. The cashiers never smile, don't make eye contact, and never greet you. They all look miserable ALL THE TIME! One time a cashier filled up one of my bags with really heavy groceries then told me to put it in the cart. I tried to pick it up and almost got a hernia ,and so I told him it's too heavy and I can't pick it up, and he just ignored me. He didn't try to put it in the cart himself because even he couldn't (it was so heavy). He didn't have the common sense or decency to even try emptying some of it into another bag . He just stood there, said nothing. (I ended up doing that myself) I tried to cut some slack for these guys, and give them the benefit of the doubt, and I've never once been rude to anyone there (even when I felt I had every right) I still kept quiet. However, the consistency of the horrendous customer service skills is disgraceful and disgusting. Where are the managers? Who is on the hiring committee? Why aren't any of these people getting proper training? Where is quality control? It's sad that standards are so low at this location that you treat your long time loyal customers this bad. Truly a shame. If I was a health inspector, I'd be shutting down your pizza center first, then I'd fire every single cashier there and train proper human beings to work with human beings.
