    Breakfast Burrito Bacon & Avocado

Really solid vibe to have a drink and watch a sports game. This place is big on soccer, so expect it to be packed if there's an important game going on. Great drink menu, from beer to cocktails. The food is decent, I really enjoy the breakfast burrito. There's not much customer service here because you order on your phone, but there do seem to be regulars, which means the staff is doing something right!

Arrived around 9:30 on a Saturday night. The music was bumpkin' and the place was pretty busy. We found seating at a high top table. There are QR codes on the table. You scan the code and you get a menu to pop up. You order drinks and food and pay, all in one transaction. After a 10 minute wait, the drinks arrive. I had the house made lemonade. It was so good. Super tart and refreshing. I thought about ordering a shot of vodka to go with it. There is no server and it seemed to be a hassle to order more items. The fried pickles were way over the top salty. My fish and chips were amazing. . The batter on the fish was super crunchy, the fish was flaky and moist. My daughter had the fried chicken sandwich, she said it was messy but good. My son had the fish sandwich, he thought it was okay. My wife was happy with her nachos. We didn't have a server, so I did have to go to the bar and get a to go boxes.

I've been here quite a few time and every single visit has always been great. Sunday afternoon, the weather is great which brought everyone out. We did a quick pop in for a drink before heading home. The place was pretty packed both inside as well as the patio outside. Groups of people gathering to watch the games inside while outside there was a group of sports family enjoying a meal and drinks after a game. Also a little party happening on the patio as well. Inside was quite busy which we thought that everyone was waiting in line to order. Well, they were all having fun. Some a little too much but hey, Sunday funday... lol... The drink options was quite impressive. Both with beer on tap as well as a full bar. The selection on beer was nice as they had loads to choose from. Not only drinks, they also served food. Well, from the looks of dishes on peoples tables, I should of grabbed something here instead of a prior place. Burgers, sandwiches, burritos, a few sides and tacos. It all looked quite nice. We got a table outside which was good since there was a group that was leaving. They're picnic style tables so sometimes it shared with other guest. Back patio connects to the alleyway that is next door to the parking structure. It's always busy with people walking by so it seems quite safe. Not the dingy kind. There's also a little arcade area downstairs on the way to the restroom. Of course all your classic machines, and pinball. Pretty good selections if I do say so. Inside has two sections both with a bar of its own. It a sports bar restaurant so it's family and pet friendly.

We stopped in for happy hour , you can't beat a $9 cheeseburger & $4 onion straws , burger was good but the onion straws were a little greasy . There are servers walking around but have to order at the bar , the beers were a little over priced even for local ones .

Excellent burger deal for happy hour! Because you order on the app we did accidentally order 3 beers and 3 burgers, but thats okay, a great time was had. Not a long wait for food, drinks were fast. EXCELLENT PICKLE CHIPS, very generous portion.

Well I do have a friend who gave this place negative reviews but considering it was over 10 years ago and many of the recent reviews are good we decided to give it a try. So this is like a sports bar type place. There is some outside seating. It's kinda hot inside but they do have a large portable ac unit which we sat right in front of. You order at the bar or through a QR code at your table which we chose to do. Soda is free refills but you have to go back up to the bar and there is a water station to get your own which is nice for a bar. I had the Cobb salad and the guys had burgers and fries. We also split the cheese naan. I enjoyed the salad, did add chicken breast and I think it would be quite plain and less substantial without it. I like that they tossed the salad but the chicken, avocado and egg was not part of that mix. Corn in a Cobb is a nice touch. I did want to order iced tea but the look of the bar told me they probably don't fresh brew and there was really no one to ask without getting up. My son liked his burger and fries a lot, my husband said both were just ok. The fries he got were supposed to be hot something. I thought they were pretty spicy but he considers it much more mild than described. Cheese naan was really good. I would have loved to have an order to myself but I really should't be eating that much bread. Probably won't ever be back just because we're not from the area and there are other options to try but I think it's worth trying for sure

Cheese Steak Sandwich, Wings, Onion Strings

Decided to stop here for lunch on a lovely Saturday afternoon. Plenty of open seating as well as outdoor patio seating which is where we sat to watch college football. Family friendly environment. We self-ordered via QR code at the table. The food came pretty quickly and the definite stand out was the wings! They have good choices on sauces or you can have them plain. We chose the chipotle honey and they were well cooked, well sauced and just all-around yummy! We also ordered the cheesesteak and onion strings and they were good but not memorable. I don't drink alcohol but the husband liked the Figueroa Hazy IPA. Parking in Old Town Pasadena is all metered or paid structures. Great bar to hang out with or without a crew but don't skip on those wings!

    Vanessa D.

My loyalty belongs to the Chipotle Honey wings--I'm addicted. But on this visit, I skipped the average fries to try the apple turnover, which proved to be an unexpected showstopper. It was a phenomenal, elevated strudel with a remarkably flaky pastry and a perfectly minimal apple filling. Though the vanilla ice cream was a touch frostbitten, the overall decadence made it easy to forgive. This menu is a triumph, and the turnover is a must-try

As far as ambiance goes this place is 4 stars. I gave it a 3 star review because ordering our food wasn't as easy as it was supposed to be. We chose to mist outside since the weather was great and it was already dark so we wanted to enjoy the outdoor patio area. It's got plenty of seating and there are cute string lights and a huge tv out there. Like I said, the ambiance is great. You are supposed to scan the QR code on your table of choice and place your order, which we tried several times but the add credit card option was not there. So you could only pay if you had Apple Pay and obviously some people don't have Apple Pay. We finally got a hold of an employee who suggested trying to order at the bar inside. We finally got that done. The bar tender who rung us up was so kind and was aware of the QR code issue and said other guests have experienced that as well. Our food tasted great ! My boyfriend could have used a larger portion on his burger. I enjoyed my cheesesteak sandwich but wish there were more fries. Other than that the flavor was definitely there. I do wish the restaurant could tell smokers to stand farther away from the patio. The patio is up against a parking garage and the space in between had smokers standing around- not sure if something could be done about that though. I'm not a big drinker but it looked like a fun place to hang at the bar if you're into that scene :) Oh they played pretty good music too.

    Inside

I really wanted to like this place, but it ended up being pretty underwhelming. The setup is odd -- instead of having servers, you have to scan a QR code, or go up to the bar, and open a tab with the bartender. No table service at all. The drinks were okay, but nothing special, and with the lack of friendly interaction it just felt impersonal. The bartenders weren't rude, but they definitely weren't going out of their way either. The space itself looks nice -- dark brick walls give it a cool vibe -- and there's plenty of seating, especially for a Saturday afternoon. But it was hot inside with no air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable to hang out for long. Most people seemed to just be ordering drinks; hardly anyone was eating food, which probably says something. It's like taking your lunch to the mall food courts. Overall, not terrible, but definitely nothing to write home about. Pretty mediocre experience.

Delicious spot to be at before a game at the rose bowl. The food was so good specially the wings. Awesome spot to hang out before any game, perfect venue for people to chit chat about sports. The service was great. Our sever Diana was amazing. She kept on checking on us a if we needed anything. Kings Row is the spot to kick it before any event at the Rose Bowl.

I was there for the first time last Friday. Nice place Bartender was very cool. Ordered a cheeseburger after all that's what were doing a cheeseburger Crawl bouncing around in Pasadena for Cheeseburger Week! Sadly our Blonde female waitress was very rude. My food order was incorrect. She was not helpful either fixing that. We would have stayed and ordered more food and drink but when friends arrived they felt the same we rather go to the next spot. I will admit the Burger was good only reason for 3 stars!

    burrito & spicy chicken sandwich
    Nicole A.

Sports bar with surprisingly good food! Seating can be difficult during games, but there's some standing space and tables clear up eventually. The spicy chicken sandwich was very juicy and not dry at all. The burritos were great but very hot. I would def go back just for the food.

It was a great place for some casual, mildly literary drinking on a Thursday night. The bar was in an alley, and I was happy to find free, easy street parking right outside the alley entrance. The space was slightly below ground, down a flight of stairs from the alley. It felt like an Irish pub/sports bar with a tap list of California beers in addition to Coors Light and Guinness. Service was friendly and reasonably fast. I had a Made West Hazy IPA and a Pizza Port Amber, both of which I've had and enjoyed several times in several places over the years. I also ate some fries that were lying around, probably but not certainly by someone I at least sort of know. They weren't bad. I live kind of far from Pasadena and T. The establishment was named after Elias Jackson "Lucky" Baldwin - a prominent 19th century businessman who purchased over 40,000 acres of land in SoCal including Rancho Santa Anita, which became the foundation for Arcadia, Baldwin Park, & Baldwin Hills. He also built the opulent Baldwin Hotel & Theatre in San Francisco. I've been here in the past to watch Soccer matches with friends. The vibe is lively, especially during a match. Inside is reminiscent of a cozy countryside pub with exposed brick & wooden beams. The outdoor patio is dog friendly (they even have a doggie menu), and it is charming at night with the lights. My friend and I stopped in for a drink. He had a beer and I had a glass of Chandon. (They do have a full bar.) The bartender was friendly and checked on us frequently. We enjoyed our visit and conversation. I'm sure this place will be packed during World Cup. *Dog Friendly *Adjacent parking garage (90 mins free) or metered street parking.

Happy to say…read moreit's still the same cozy, welcoming place, with friendly servers and a beer selection that's hard to beat -- possibly, it can't be beaten at all. That said, when I'm in a Pub I tend to go for Guinness or some kind of 1/2 & 1/2, and this time I chose Smithwick's with a Guinness topper. My bartender, Sarah, proffered a perfect poor, with a smile and a laugh, and I was ready for a good time. The menu is packed with traditional pub favorites plus other general sandwiches and salads, etc. I decided on their Reuben, which is built with Corned Beef, Swiss, Sauerkraut, both Russian AND Mustard, and it's served with fresh cut Fries. The sandwich was hearty and generously made, with flavorful corned beef boasting all the best of the pickling spices without too much salt -- the cook knows how to balance flavors. The sauerkraut and melty Swiss provided a rich, acidic contrast to the beef, an effect echoed by the blending of Russian with Brown Mustard. Then there was the bread -- an artisan rye with good flavor, appealing texture and just the right amount of fresh seeds to let you know this bread came from an oven not a bag. Fries were hand cut, as advertised, arriving hot and crispy with just the right dusting of salt -- a perfect match for the Reuben. This being Monday night, it was quiet on Colorado Blvd., and the restaurant had only a few people at dinner time. While this was a laid-back visit, I'm well aware the place can get busy and boisterous when people descend on their back-alley entrance, and it's hard to know which scenario would be better: the high energy pulse or the calm conversation. Best to come in multiple times for a proper scientific analysis (as well as several cold pints and a few very good meals).

The menu was scanned via QR code and it was easy enough to access. We both got burgers, mine was a beyond patty and my fiancé got a beef one. The food came so quickly and the French fries were DELICIOUS. I've been looking for a new favorite fry since Pizza of Venice was lost in the Eaton Fire and I think these may be it! Funny that we didn't try the drinks or spend time inside at the bar but from sitting outside on a cold winter night, I can only imagine the inside is even more fun!

When we walked in, there was a tall, bald male bartender and a blonde female bartender working--neither of whom I've seen here before. We ordered two drinks, but the service from the male bartender was inattentive from the start. At one point, my friend tried to get someone's attention to ask for a lime and wasn't acknowledged. She ended up grabbing a lime herself from the garnish tray--which I understand isn't ideal--but the response we got was completely out of line. The male bartender became immediately hostile and started aggressively cursing at my friend. When I calmly asked the female bartender if this was normal behavior, he inserted himself into the conversation and said, "she put her fucking hand in the fucking jar," in a very confrontational tone. I tried to de-escalate the situation and respectfully explained that there was no reason to speak to us that way, but he continued the hostility and ultimately told us to "get the fuck out." At that point, I paid for our drinks and we left. What made this especially disappointing is that this has never been our experience here before. We've always enjoyed this bar and have had positive interactions with the regular staff. If this had been my first visit, I would not come back. I understand that what my friend did wasn't appropriate, but it absolutely did not justify being yelled at and cursed out. I hope management addresses this, because this kind of behavior is not reflective of the bar I've come to know.
