I would like to start this review by saying that this place was absolutely PACKED but the staff did such a great job to make sure we were well attended and keep the energy up with the match going on....hats off to them! Our buddies were able to secure a spot in the outside patio area to view the game. They offer QR code menus where you can pay and order with a table number connected to your table. This makes ordering so much easier, especially for such busy days like World Cup game days. I ordered the Carne Asada tacos, so delicious and had a nice little smoky taste. My husband ordered buffalo wings, fish and chips, and onion rings; he loved everything. I've been here quite a few time and every single visit has always been great. Sunday afternoon, the weather is great which brought everyone out. We did a quick pop in for a drink before heading home. The place was pretty packed both inside as well as the patio outside. Groups of people gathering to watch the games inside while outside there was a group of sports family enjoying a meal and drinks after a game. Also a little party happening on the patio as well. Inside was quite busy which we thought that everyone was waiting in line to order. Well, they were all having fun. Some a little too much but hey, Sunday funday... lol... The drink options was quite impressive. Both with beer on tap as well as a full bar. The selection on beer was nice as they had loads to choose from. Not only drinks, they also served food. Well, from the looks of dishes on peoples tables, I should of grabbed something here instead of a prior place. Burgers, sandwiches, burritos, a few sides and tacos. It all looked quite nice. We got a table outside which was good since there was a group that was leaving. They're picnic style tables so sometimes it shared with other guest. Back patio connects to the alleyway that is next door to the parking structure. It's always busy with people walking by so it seems quite safe. Not the dingy kind. Arrived around 9:30 on a Saturday night. The music was bumpkin' and the place was pretty busy. We found seating at a high top table. There are QR codes on the table. You scan the code and you get a menu to pop up. You order drinks and food and pay, all in one transaction. After a 10 minute wait, the drinks arrive. I had the house made lemonade. It was so good. Super tart and refreshing. I thought about ordering a shot of vodka to go with it. There is no server and it seemed to be a hassle to order more items. The fried pickles were way over the top salty. My fish and chips were amazing. . The batter on the fish was super crunchy, the fish was flaky and moist. My daughter had the fried chicken sandwich, she said it was messy but good. Well I do have a friend who gave this place negative reviews but considering it was over 10 years ago and many of the recent reviews are good we decided to give it a try. So this is like a sports bar type place. There is some outside seating. It's kinda hot inside but they do have a large portable ac unit which we sat right in front of. You order at the bar or through a QR code at your table which we chose to do. Soda is free refills but you have to go back up to the bar and there is a water station to get your own which is nice for a bar. I had the Cobb salad and the guys had burgers and fries. We also split the cheese naan. I enjoyed the salad, did add chicken breast and I think it would be quite plain and less substantial without it. I like that they tossed the salad but the chicken, avocado and egg was not part of that mix. Corn in a Cobb is a nice touch. I did want to order iced tea but the look of the bar told me they probably don't fresh brew and there was really no one to ask without getting up. My son liked his burger and fries a lot, my husband said both were just ok. The fries he got were supposed to be hot something. I thought they were pretty spicy but he considers it much more mild than described. Cheese naan was really good. I would have loved to have an order to myself but I really should't be eating that much bread. Probably won't ever be back just because we're not from the area and there are other options to try but I think it's worth trying for sure read more

I'm glad I woke up early and got in line before 10:00 AM, because apparently standing in line is just a fun suggestion here. While those of us who actually waited our turn stood outside, staff were allowing people to come in through the back gate and skip the line entirely. Even better, many of the seats were already "reserved" for the bar's high rollers and VIPs. So after waiting for hours, we got to enjoy the privilege of watching other people receive the seating opportunities that should have gone to the customers who showed up early. When we brought the issue up to who I believe was the manager--the lady wearing the red USA jersey--we were told that "they're doing their best." If that's their best, I'd hate to see their worst. Doing their best would have been taking care of the customers who were actually waiting in line and offering available seating, such as the middle table in the second room. But apparently that's not an option because that table belongs to the owners. It's reassuring to know the owners are taken care of while paying customers are treated like an afterthought. This used to be my favorite bar since returning to the area after leaving the military last September. Unfortunately, today's experience made it clear where customer loyalty ranks on the priority list. I'm sure this review will fall on deaf ears, so instead of arguing, I'll let my wallet do the talking and take my business elsewhere. Good luck to everyone planning on arriving early. The setup is odd -- instead of having servers, you have to scan a QR code, or go up to the bar, and open a tab with the bartender. No table service at all. The drinks were okay, but nothing special, and with the lack of friendly interaction it just felt impersonal. The bartenders weren't rude, but they definitely weren't going out of their way either. The space itself looks nice -- dark brick walls give it a cool vibe -- and there's plenty of seating, especially for a Saturday afternoon. But it was hot inside with no air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable to hang out for long. Most people seemed to just be ordering drinks; hardly anyone was eating food, which probably says something. It's like taking your lunch to the mall food courts. As far as ambiance goes this place is 4 stars. I gave it a 3 star review because ordering our food wasn't as easy as it was supposed to be. We chose to mist outside since the weather was great and it was already dark so we wanted to enjoy the outdoor patio area. It's got plenty of seating and there are cute string lights and a huge tv out there. Like I said, the ambiance is great. You are supposed to scan the QR code on your table of choice and place your order, which we tried several times but the add credit card option was not there. So you could only pay if you had Apple Pay and obviously some people don't have Apple Pay. We finally got a hold of an employee who suggested trying to order at the bar inside. We finally got that done. The bar tender who rung us up was so kind and was aware of the QR code issue and said other guests have experienced that as well. Our food tasted great ! My boyfriend could have used a larger portion on his burger. I enjoyed my cheesesteak sandwich but wish there were more fries. Other than that the flavor was definitely there. I do wish the restaurant could tell smokers to stand farther away from the patio. The patio is up against a parking garage and the space in between had smokers standing around- not sure if something could be done about that though. The Dodger game is always on when they're playing. I went this past Wednesday for lunch and the Asian bartender was very helpful and made a great beer recommendation and a great cocktail. I met up with some work colleagues at Kings Row Gastropub for Happy Hour drinks and appetizers on a Thursday night. It was my first time here. I was never into the bar thing in my 20's or even later in my years. I don't drink alcohol much if at all. But most recently I've been entertaining a bad apple cider here and there. This place has good vibes. It has two entrances... one from Colorado Blvd and the other from the back alley. There are two sections to order your food and drinks from. Their menu is surprisingly quite huge for a bar. They have TVs near the bar and video games at a corner here and there plus in a special room located downstairs. They also have a water station to help those who need to flush down the booze later in the evening or those who just drink water. Btw, customer restrooms are downstairs. The restrooms near the front entrance is for employees only. Staff was fantatic. Service was excellent. Happy Hour options are fantastic. The chicken wings that had the sweet flavor was very good. I didn't try anything else as I was still stuff from my lunch. As for my drinks, one of my colleagues treated me a dry apple cider. Another colleague treated me a Mexican Lager. Thank you both. I drank all of my cider... it was very light and had a crisp taste. I only took one sip of the lager... this was okay... I'm not much of a beer drinker. However, I would like to try their blonde next time. At the end of the day, I do have to watch my alcohol consumption accordingly. Ordered a cheeseburger after all that's what were doing a cheeseburger Crawl bouncing around in Pasadena for Cheeseburger Week! Sadly our Blonde female waitress was very rude. I think today was around 84F to 86F and this open-air fan use restaurant/pub is mostly a "big nawe" in the summer and warmer days. I could not imagine a 95F plus day sweating bullets here and as we know alcohol does not help with heat. There are umbrellas on the patio. You will probably end up sharing a picnic table with others unless you have a party of 3 or 4. We had a loud group next to us which was less than ideal. STAFF are friendly, polite and efficient. The basement with restrooms has an apparent old skool video game graveyard which is cool. And it was only a portion of loaded fries, which might have been sitting waiting to be delivered for a bit. I was not a fan of getting disposable plastic cutlery in a sealed plastic set. Our run crew (Pasadena Pub Run) meets next door and Kings Row juicy burgers are thee best after our run. Food, beer, cocktail, and service are always on point. We traditionally come through with a large group of runners after the Rose Bowl Half Marathon. There's nothing like a belly full of burgers and beer as a reward for a challenging race.
