Der Wolf was such a fun time. I was there for a meeting/ girls night on a Tuesday night and the whole place had a really great energy. There were games on TV, but also people actively playing interactive games like Flip Cup and other group games, which made the whole atmosphere feel really social and engaging. Honestly, it felt like the kind of place that encourages real connection and community, something that's needed now more than ever. The space is large enough where you can comfortably have conversations while still feeling the lively atmosphere around you. The back patio is also a huge plus, especially in Pasadena where the weather is beautiful most of the year. Service was attentive, the food and drinks were both great, and overall it just felt like a welcoming community spot. Came here for Mother's Day brunch. Was real excited to know they serve 19$ bottomless mimosas here. We arrived at 10:30 and had reservations for 11am. We got seated almost immediately which I liked considering it was earlier than our reservation time. On the menu they had 3 different flavor mimosas which were orange, mango & pineapple. Its kind of hard to write a review on this because I went on a Sunday night. So for what it was that day I'm going to automatically give it a 5 star review only because I knew I was missing out on Friday and Saturday events. I didn't have any food, but the drinks are made well there, so you do get what you pay for in that aspect. The ambiance was great, awesome decor and lit enough where you can still see everyone's faces. Bartenders are friendly and so are the locals that frequent that establishment. Would never come back here after what happened today. Paid $4 to make a brunch reservation on their website and drove there with my sister, paid for parking and walked inside to have them say we don't have a reservation unless we want to pay $65 per person, which was what they wanted people to pay to sit in their dank bar to watch the World Cup on TV, and they weren't serving brunch. Ended up in a basement that smelled liked bleach drinking bad beer with lukewarm fries that had terrible garlic sauce ladled over them. I've came here multiple times I've never have had a bad experience. The security in the front is polite as long as you don't act a fool they do do pat downs on men and do search women. The crowd is usually an older crowd so there's less drama there's a downstairs level for private parties. They do provide food and bar food, which is OK and the drinks are reasonably price. read more

We were informed that the birthday booth was reserved for our party of ten; however, upon arrival, we were told it had been given to another group. They had no other area to accommodations suit our party size, and we were instead seated in a corner. Unfortunately, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the miscommunication, and the situation was presented as if it were our error. The service declined further from that point. Several members of our group got bottomless mimosas, yet refills were consistently missed. We had to repeatedly approach the bar ourselves, and even then, the drinks were not fully poured. They hype up the place so much on IG with their AI flyers but we gave them a shot. First visit was a 7/10 so we decided to book a reservation online for the World Cup final. Umm excuse me, we literally paid for a reservation and now they want to charge $65 per person for a table. My husband said no because we had our kids and weren't going to spend that much. They said they would find a table for us and proceeded to take us downstairs to a makeshift basement that was falling apart. There was 2 leaks happening and it was so dingy down there. I want to start off by saying this is the BEST SERVICE we have gotten at any bar/restaurant, HANDS DOWN! We were there on a Sunday to attend a Chargers watch party in the basement. When the restaurant opened the basement immediately filled up. Melissa M was our server for the entire basement. She was so attentive and gave everyone amazing service. I noticed that not one person down there had a dry cup, she was on top of refills and food orders for everyone. We ordered wings, a giant pretzel and a cheese burger. The wings were well done (per melissa's suggestion) and they were perfectly crisp. The pretzel was delicious and soft on the inside. The beer cheese that came with the pretzel was AMAZING! I wish there was more cheese because the pretzel was really big, there was not enough cheese for the size of that thing. The cheese burger also really really good. We had beers, margarita flight and mexican candy shots. The bartender was also very busy but took time to greet everyone. Drinks were delicious and came fairly quickly. What a great experience!!
