Looking back, I probably should have asked for it to be removed from the bill entirely. Instead, she offered to replace it with a different cut of steak that she said would be more tender but cost more. And I fell for it, I agreed. The replacement steak arrived with only peppercorn sauce and no fries or sides (which she had mentioned beforehand), but what she didn't mention was how unpleasant the sauce was.
