The food and vibe here are both excellent. Got to join the team here for their first year anniversary, and we got to try a couple delicious and inventive drinks and some bites/dessert. The first drink I tried was the desert sun, which had a lovely kick to it and was super refreshing to boot. I then tried a delish caviar and fish dish they had put together with some crunch, a North Carolina oyster (so good), and a mini tostada. Everything was to die for, particularly the caviar dish - and I'm not normally a caviar guy! The second drink I tried was a triple cali spritz, which was very fruit forward, which I'm a fan of. We also got to try a fantastic wagyu and pork meatball, which was like the best elevated version of a Salisbury steak you could have. We chased all of this with an espresso vodka ice cream. Everything was seriously great, and all were basically mini versions of the food they serve here. Highly recommended :) Didn't even get into the atmosphere yet! It's a SMALL piece of fish and a green colored sauce. Both people were still hungry after eating that and one person though super annoyed , vocalized going to get tacos somewhere else after. - Peach, burrata ,broccolini seemed to be a hit. - Burger was ok. Probably the best thing on the menu. At least you won't be super hungry after ordering that !! - Drinks were definitely a light pour. I actually , thought , did someone drink my half a shot ?! No grey goose , no diet coke , either. Lol. I felt bad tipping 17% when I normally tip 40 to 50% and above , but I was appalled at the non disclosure of the refill charges. I can be petty , too !! Osa is currently the city's only one and it delivers on every level. From start to finish, the service was amazing the staff was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience effortless. The highlight of our meal was a quick menu swap: we ordered the $28 Wagyu burger and replaced the standard fries with their crispy Brussels sprouts tossed in Aleppo chili and almonds. Incredible move. But the unexpected star of the night? The Wagyu and pork meatballs in vodka sauce. Inside, the vibe is effortlessly relaxed, complete with panoramic views of the San Gabriel Mountains. If you're dining with a group, round out the spread with the chili-crisp salmon crudo and persimmon burrata salad. What I'd recommend: Timing: Book outdoor seating right around sunset. Drinks: Pair the view with a Penicillin or Lemon Drop martini. Dessert: Leave room for the gelato to wrap up the night. Located right at the top of the AC Hotel, this spot delivers epic vibes all around. It's an awesome place to just chill with friends and take in the fantastic views of the San Gabriel Mountains. Come at sunset for an even better view. While the food menu is relatively small, the dishes are decent, and the refreshing cocktails definitely make up for it. We got the burger and the steak. Everything was tasty and reasonably priced for a rooftop restaurant. I suggest upgrading the fries to truffle fries. We also swapped another set of fries for brussels sprouts and that was the right move. Service was fine and kept the night moving smoothly. After seeing this place circulate on social media, I decided to give it a try. They're located on the 6th floor of the AC hotel so you have to walk through the hotel lobby to get to the restaurant. Upon arrival, we were quickly seated and our waitress came over to take our order. Thankfully, they have umbrellas and misters on because it was a HOT 89 degrees today. We ordered the Mi Rosa drinks which I recommend for a hot day like this one, followed by the OSA burger, Turkish eggs, and Caesar salad. While everything tasted good (maybe the sesame bread on the burger was a tad stale). There were a few things that took stars of what could have been a great brunch. One, the glass set on our table had some left over food stains which our waitress replaced. Secondly, after receiving our order we were never checked on again. No water, no "is everything good?", nothing! Again, I want to stress how hot it was. So the least the waitress Anna could have done was bring over a pitcher of water. We had planned to order another drink, but since she disappeared and was no where to be located, I ended up asking another waitress for our bill. It was the different waitress that I also had to ask for water because by this time I was quite literally feeling beads of sweat drip down my back. I cannot overstate how beautiful it was. We ordered a couple of mocktails to start with- the Merry Roses and Beetroot. Both drinks were refreshing and uplifting. We shared the peach burrata salad, king salmon crudo, and beef carpaccio. Peaches were not in season, so they were replaced with pear slices for the salad, and it was nice and light. The presentation for the crudo was lovely and really delicious. The beef carpaccio was my least favorite. It needed a bit more flavor. For our entree, we opted for the grilled swordfish. This fish was moist and so flavorful. I wanted to spend my birthday at a rooftop restaurant that was more on the casual side. After attending a Yelp event here when they first opened last summer, I thought this would be the perfect place. WRONG!!!! They use "Open Table" to make reservations where they specifically ask if it's a "Special Occasion" as well as for any requests. WHY BOTHER??? This place did not even acknowledge any of my requests. When we arrived, Emma, the hostess was so busy talking to a female server that she completely ignored us. That already took my review down a star. After waiting a few minutes, I had to politely say "HELLO," in order to get her attention. BTW - no apology was given! She then sat us at a table in the middle of the place and told me that no other tables were available with a view only by the bar (which was extremely LOUD!) That was complete BS since after we sat she managed to sit a few other couples at the long table I requested!!! Gets better! We sit down next to a couple of women with one saying the "F Bomb" every other word!" I actually started counting her! She was up to 13 F bombs every 5 minutes... We sat for at least 10 minutes, ignored again until I asked Emma as she walked by if we had a server. 5 minutes later our server Alejandro, with NO personality, or as my mother would say, " Dead From The Neck Up," came to our table. We ordered drinks which finally came when our appies came! The menu is limited but we did enjoy the beet salad and the "Hand Pressed Tostones." We also shared a burger for $28! I was really excited for this one went for my husband's birthday, and the rooftop views/sunset are gorgeous, no complaints there. But the service just wasn't it. We had a 7:45 reservation and got there around 7:20 to walk around first, but didn't actually get seated until almost 8. While we were still standing there waiting for a table, a waitress came up and took our drink orders, then brought the drinks over to where we were just sitting on the lounge chair waiting with a bunch of other waiting parties. Kind of a weird start. Once we finally sat down, it didn't really get better. There wasn't one waitress checking on us I had to flag down whoever walked by just to get water, place our order, anything. It took a while just to get someone to take our order, and she had to come back later because she forgot a pen. Our sodas came out at 7:40, but we didn't get our food until 8:40 -- a full hour later -- so by the time we could actually sit down and eat, the sodas were completely watered down from sitting there melting. No one ever came by to offer new ones. Food also just got dropped off at the table without anyone saying what it was or asking who ordered what, so we were left guessing whose plate was whose. At one point a food runner dropped a drink, and it was not cleaned it up properly. The floor was still slippery afterwards as you'd walk to the bathroom. The bathrooms were also pretty dirty, with paper towels left all over the counters and floor. We got there at 7:20 and didn't leave until 10pm, and a lot of that time was spent waiting or trying to get someone's attention. I get they're still new, and I do wish them the best the food was good and the space itself is beautiful. But for a birthday dinner, I wanted it to feel a little more put together than it did. Great views of the mountains and incredibly quick service. We came in at 7 and were out with some time to spare before our show started at the Playhouse at 8. The seasonal cocktails my girlfriend and I had weren't the best -- I had the spritz which was a tad too tart for my liking and my friend got the beet cocktail and then complained that it was too earthy. Not the restaurant's fault because HELLO it is made with beet what did you expect? The steak frites were pretty great, my only note is that it sat in a bit too much olive oil on the plate and made some of the frites taste regrettably oily. Perfectly cooked piece of meat though. The burger looked really good too. This big group of big men had the table behind us and were standing the whole time like Neanderthals! This is the perfect spot for drinks with your girls. We were on the hunt for a casual rooftop bar, and I'm so glad we ended up here. The place is absolutely dreamy. It's located on top of a hotel with the prettiest outdoor seating. The bar overlooks the mountains, and the view alone is gorgeous and perfect! Came here with my mom on a Saturday for brunch. I was told brunch was served until two and they gave me a regular menu as well as a brunch menu since we got there at 1:45. When I went to order off the regular menu, the waitress said brunch was until 230. I was confused for the conflicting information so we decided to order drinks and wait until 230 to order off the regular menu. Their brunch menu is very limited and we didn't see much that we want it off from there. I ordered a pomegranate and mango margarita. Both of them were very delicious and refreshing. We shared the artichoke dip, steak, Frita, and toastones. The artichoke dip was definitely the main attraction of our shared items. We were able to have seating in the shaded area however it began to get very hot and humid by the time we left. Beautiful sites of the SGV mountains, though. I made my first visit to Osa Rooftop on Valentine's Day, and honestly... I was really impressed. They had a prix fixe menu, and in my experience, that's not always the best way to understand what a restaurant can really do. But this one totally worked. First off: the views are amazing. How have I lived here all these years and never noticed that green lookout on top of the building across the street?! I never would've seen it without this view, and now I can't unsee it. The waitstaff was friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful -- especially appreciated since I have some kind of lifelong curse where I spill things on light-colored shirts at important moments. Thank you for the soda water offer before I could even possibly ask . The curated menu for the night was spot on. Almost everything was excellent and cooked perfectly. The only thing we didn't love was the vinegar-heavy marinade on the oysters -- a little too sour for us. And honestly, when I saw someone at a nearby table make that face after trying one, I knew I wasn't alone. But aside from that? The steak, the fish, the pasta, the tuna tartare, the artichokes -- yum, yum, yum. We were blown away and pleasantly surprised. We skipped the Valentine's Day cocktails and went straight for dirty martinis to really see what they could do. They were great... so great that we ordered seconds. And at $12 each for a rooftop bar? Stayed at the hotel and ended up eating here during my trip. Honestly, the food was so good we kept ordering more dishes just to try everything on the menu. The burger was great, the tuna tartare was super fresh, the salmon crudo was excellent, and pretty much everything we tried was a hit. You can tell a lot of thought went into both the flavors and presentation. I booked reservations right around 6:30 PM specifically to catch the sunset views from the rooftop, and it was absolutely worth it. The atmosphere up there during golden hour is really nice, especially overlooking Pasadena with a drink and good food. Definitely feels upscale and stylish without trying too hard. Service was friendly and the overall vibe made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. The only part of the experience that felt a little unusual was the payment process when charging the meal to my hotel room. I was asked to provide ID despite already being a registered guest at the property. I've been staying at Marriott hotels for well over a decade, including higher-end brands and resorts, and this was honestly the first time I've encountered that. I even asked about it and was told it was because sometimes people "forget they aren't guests at the hotel" when trying to charge meals to rooms. The staff member was polite, but the explanation honestly felt a bit odd and made the interaction feel slightly uncomfortable compared to what I'm used to at Marriott properties. A cute aesthetic rooftop with such a cute private entrance to go up. By private I mean you don't have to go through the actual hotel to get to the rooftop. Drinks were well made and start around $18 for the cocktails; but they don't have many of their own curated cocktails. But I do think they have a full bar so they should be able to make what you want. For food we ordered a few different appetizers; carpaccio was definitely a 10/10 with a yummy citrus sauce and perfect potato chips, truffle string fries were also a hit with a perfect balance of truffle and garlic, tuna appetizer was okay, it could have more flavor or at least some salt. Cesar salad was also yummy, there cesar here has cappers which I loved. For entrees we had steak frittes. Steak was small for what I was expecting and they charge an upgrade for truffle fries or Brussels sprouts. Brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly and had a savory citrus sweet glaze with almonds. Overall food was great. Service was decent, although I would have appreciated for our server to check in on how food was tasting after things came out. We didn't see him other than taking our order, running our drinks, and brining the check. Other than that the food runner was more helpful. Cheers to her! Our experience at Osa Rooftop was mixed. The big positive was the view - we came up around sunset and sitting outside was just gorgeous. I have celiac disease, so eating out can be a bit of a struggle. Our server clearly wasn't very familiar/educated on celiac disease/what did or didn't contain gluten (at one point saying "Ice cream can't have gluten, right??", haha), but he was so kind and made sure to double check everything with the kitchen (the chefs were incredibly knowledgable) so that I felt safe. It would be great if there was a little more education on that specific dietary restriction with the staff! I know gluten free can be seen as more of a fad diet, but for people like me it's a medical necessity. Despite there being several items on the menu I could safely eat, I ended up just getting a Berryroot cocktail which was incredibly delicious! My family each got the Triple Cali Spritz - they all said it was pretty underwhelming. They then also got the spiced nuts with baja honey - which they also said didn't really have much flavor or spice. We weren't motivated to try much more after that - so my family ended up just getting some pistachio ice cream, which they said was delicious! I'm sure a lot of the other drinks and food are great, but based on our personal experience we probably won't be back. read more

Great new hang out in an area that is losing quality restaurants and business faster than you can blink. There are 2 bars here, one on the rooftop and another on the ground floor level. Both are designed beautifully with an indoor outdoor seamless transition and feel airy and relaxing to lounge at. The food and drinks are also great at the restaurant upstairs. Seating requires reservations most of the time but the views and atmosphere are great. I just wish we had more establishments like this to make going out on nice evening more fun. read more

Came here for a friends bday brunch the scenery is so stunning. Food is pretty good I've tried the swordfish and the steak, would recommend both. Menu is pretty small and limited but has something for everyone. Drinks are pretty. I think it's a good spot for a birthday dinner or brunch make reservations in advance. read more
