IMMEDIATELY YES!!!! I have added this to my restaurant rotation and am saddened it's such a drive out for me. I came by for dinner with friends and we left sooooo happy. They do offer a happy hour so I would recommend coming during that time! They have both indoor and outdoor seating and we did make a reservation in advance, when we came on a Friday night, this place was packed and even w/ the reservation, it still took up ~15 mins to be seated. There's free street parking all around Kulturas which you will more than likely end up parking at since their parking lot is tiny. Mango + Pomegranate Soft Serve Margarita (w/ chamoy) 5/5, ohmygod YES!!!!! (The chamoy is a $0.99 uncharge.) This came out sweet, icy, and the perfect cooldown drink for a hot evening. I've seen some reports on social media that their margaritas did not come out looking like how ours did so yes that would be disappointing if that was the case for them but I am grateful ours came out well Birria tacos 5/5, slam dunk omg, soft, juicy, tender, well seasoned, overall complete chef's kiss I look forward to coming back to Kulturas many a time over!! read more

I've been here twice. Once with friends and once with family. For parking, they do have a small parking lot. However, there's plenty of parking spots nearby in the neighborhood. It's a great spot if you want to have drinks and some chips and salsa or some yummy foods. I haven't been back for their happy hour or specials, but it sounds like a good deal. I've been recommending this place because of their soft serve margaritas. I enjoyed their soft serve margaritas, but depending on the night, they might be out of flavors. In one of the experiences on a Friday night, my friend wanted to order a flight, but they only had two flavors. In addition, my soft serve margarita was a little watery and they didn't have the edible sprinkles like I had last time. The food is pretty good too, but I did find it on the pricier end. The restaurant is beautiful with murals outside and they had a ton of TVs and tables for visitors. I did don't that it was really loud inside so it was a little hard to talk to other guests. The last experience that I had on a Friday night, it was a little slower and the service was unfortunately impacted. I had to request for the server to come around a few times because I was missing my drink and the chips and salsa. I would still recommend this place and enjoy the food and drink drinks. Had a great meal at Kulturas Latin Kitchen & Cantina in Pasadena! We started with the sushi roll and the aguachile, and both were delicious. For our entrées, we had the enchilada combo with mole, green sauce, and shrimp, the steak chilaquiles, and the pasta. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. i have been to kulturas twice now & i do have to say that my first time experience was way better than my second experience which was last night. i seen on tik tok that kulturas came out with their fall pumpkin soft serve margaritas, it looked so good i wanted to take my friend out for a treat! i booked a reservation on yelp a day before & honestly there was no point in making a reservation because they didn't even check the system or nothing. we were sat at our table immediately which was nice. Uhm, in my defense i didn't know that on the week days they close at 11 so just an FYI. our waitress was nice however, i felt SOO RUSHED. the ambiance wasn't enjoyable because the guys at the bar was obnoxiously so loud screaming and yelling at the tv while everyone else in the restaurant can't even hear the person across from the table. I'm not sure why it took a long time to make our soft serve margaritas. We ordered two and they only brought one so then we had to wait another 5-10 mins for my friend soft serve. the service last night was not good at all. when they finally brought over my friend soft serve, the soft serve itself was THICK so when my friend started to eat more of the soft serve it LITERALLY started falling apart. Half of the soft serve fell on the table, which created a big unenjoyable mess. (In the photo shown is MY soft serve not my friends. Again, even the chicken was not enjoyable to chew. it was lazy cooking last night. The menu has a variety of choices and PLENTY of drinks. Since it's working hours, I only had a mocktail. I saw my other coworkers had some alcoholic drinks. I came here Saturday night with my best friend and husband to celebrate my bestie's birthday! We knew coming on a Saturday would be risky as it could pose a long wait. When we arrived, we were told the wait would be an hour and a half, but we sucked it up since we didn't have a reservation. Luckily, we only waited about 45 minutes! We're thinking a lot of people that put their name down didn't and up waiting so we got pushed up the list! However, when we were seated, our service wasn't the best :( don't get me wrong, our server was nice but she didn't check up on us or any of the orders she placed. She got my best friend's drink wrong even after correcting her. She ordered a Malibu & coke and our server repeated back "Mexican coke" and we immediately corrected her. However, after about 15 minutes of waiting, only my best friend's drink arrived and they brought her a Coca Cola bottle lol. My drink was completely forgotten about and we had to remind our server. I didn't want to continue reminding our server as it was quite busy and I had assumed maybe things were just taking much longer than anticipated. However, our entrees came out before our appetizer! We ordered the nachos and they never came up. I was pretty bummed out because I ordered the ceviche as my entree to balance out the heaviness from the nachos but they never came :( After all of that, I didn't really want to order anymore drinks because of how long mine took and how my best friend's drink got messed up . But I really wanted to try the soft serve flight. Sad. However, I will say the ambiance is nice. There's a party-like vibe and we had live performers our night singing Latin music. There was no refilling of chips as we waited and minimal checking in and communication. Food 1/5 After waiting being at the restaurant for almost 2 hours with no food, our food came cold. I ordered 2 tacos, both of which were very disappointing. The tortillas tasted like they were grocery store bought as they were dry and lacked flavor. The meat was also super bland and cold. Drinks 3/5 Ordered soft serve margaritas . The consistency was super smooth and felt like ice cream which is nice, but you can expect minimal alcohol taste or feel. The strawberry flavor tasted slightly medicinal. They said the mango was going to take a 20 minute wait. Had we known we were going to be there for 2 hours we would've also ordered it. Oh darn.... I didn't think I would have to write this kind of review but this is one of a kind. Came here at 8 PM and didn't get served till 10 PM. I saw a whole car crash happen in front of me from beginning till end (the whole scene was completed and cleaned up) and also had to call triple A to come and fix my friends tire since it was flat. All of that happened AND the food still hadn't come yet. We were sitting here for over and half for like 2 tacos and 1 enchilada. When the food finally came though... I took a bite of the Enchilada and it was literally cold. The shrimp was cold. I just couldn't be here anymore to continue eating. At first, this place was really cool and I liked the soft serve margaritas and I was like dang this place is super cool vibes. The food and waiting time was what killed me. Don't get me wrong, I think the food CAN be really good, but the fact I ate a piece of cold shrimp, it ruined my mood completely. Stopped by Kulturas in Pasadena for a solo lunch and really enjoyed it. Service was good and everything felt easy and welcoming. I had the enchiladas and a drink and both were solid. I always past by this restaurant and say "I want to eat there". Well, that day finally arrived and we came and ate here. I had no idea where the entrance of the restaurant was, so we entered through their front patio. The entire place is vibrant and the music they were playing over their sound system was lively! We were greeted right away and the server, Giovanni, gave his recommendations because it was our first time there. They have mocktails that were delicious! Brunch starts at 10am! Great menu choices, made it really tough to choose. My husband got their chicharon tacos that he said was amazing pork belly that was seasoned very well! I got their breakfast burger and it came with crispy fries. The food was plentiful and the plating was just as vibrant as their restaurant. They have taco Tuesday for $2 tacos! I ordered the House Margarita, which was perfectly balanced and really refreshing. For food, I went with the 3-choice combo plate, and the flavors were definitely there--everything tasted fresh and well-seasoned. However, the service was just okay. This was my first time trying this restaurant. Inside, you have nice vacation vibes. They had a band playing that sounded great. Service was good. The manager and our waitress were very attentive. I tried the Asian wings and a crane asada taco both of which were very good and made fresh to order. Everything was hot and tasty. Parking can be a little difficult due to the small parking lot. Margarita Surprise Upcharge! My party of four visited Kulturas Latin Kitchen & Cantina on a Saturday night. We were seated fairly quickly, which was a great start and appreciated given how busy the restaurant was. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. The first thing we noticed was how incredibly loud the music was. It wasn't just energetic background music, it was so loud that everyone at our table had to lean in and practically shout just to have a conversation. It made it difficult to enjoy the meal and each other's company. We ordered drinks and food and were especially excited to try the Margarita Flights. The menu clearly lists the Margarita Flight at $20. When ordering, our server asked whether we wanted them "on the rocks" or "slushies." We ordered one flight on the rocks and three slushie flights. The drinks came out inconsistently. Two flights arrived first, while the remaining two didn't arrive until much later, leaving part of our group waiting. The food was actually good and is honestly the only reason this review isn't even lower. The biggest issue came when we received the bill. We noticed the Margarita Flights that were served as slushies were charged $27.99 each, while the flight served on the rocks was charged the advertised $20 price. We asked our server about the discrepancy, and he brought over the manager, Rosa. We explained that nowhere on the menu does it state that choosing the "soft serve" or slushie version of the Margarita Flight results in a significantly higher price. The menu simply lists the Margarita Flight as $20. If there is an upcharge, it should be clearly disclosed before ordering or printed on the menu. Rosa explained that the soft-serve version costs more, but our concern wasn't whether it costs more, it was that the menu never communicates that price difference. Customers should not discover a nearly $8 upcharge per flight only after receiving the bill. That's misleading and creates an unpleasant surprise at the end of the meal. To make matters worse, the restaurant also adds a 3% credit card service fee, which is posted as a way to avoid raising menu prices. Between the undisclosed Margarita Flight upcharge and the additional card fee, the final bill felt much higher than what was represented on the menu. The food was enjoyable, but transparency matters. If menu prices vary based on preparation style, those prices should be clearly disclosed upfront so customers can make informed decisions. Unfortunately, the lack of pricing transparency and the dismissive handling of the concern left a bad impression. I wouldn't return unless pricing is made much clearer and customers are informed of additional charges before ordering read more

We visited on a Friday early evening during happy hour and sat outside their dog friendly patio. They do have two outdoor areas and we chose to sit in the larger area by the main entrance. Giovani was our server and he was very attentive and knowledgeable, he took very good care of us. I was apprehensive about coming here because it used to be Kalaveras and I was not a fan and they kept the same aesthetic and spelling their name with a K, but I decided to give them a chance. I'm glad I did! They have new owners and although the majority of the menu is the same the vibe is different. I really enjoyed my pepino con chile margarita, it was potent and tasty. I ordered the birria and I really enjoyed that as well. My boyfriend couldn't decide between the mole enchiladas or the green enchiladas and Giovani advised him he could have one of each, awesome! My boyfriend concluded he preferred mole. I asked Giovani for spicy salsa for my birria and he brought me a delicious one that I hope to request each time I visit!
