Pinocchio's Pizza catered our backyard marriage celebration. They arrived on time and set up everything. Linens, silverware and table clothes were provided. Adriana and her assistant (I apologize for not remembering her name) were simply marvelous in handling all aspects of the party from beginning to end. All our guests were quite pleased with the event. Lots of left over food that we will be eating for quite some time. I highly recommend that you consider Pinocchio's Pizza for your next catering event. read more

Absolute hidden gem in Pasadena for authentic Italian comfort food! If you're hunting for a spot that delivers on both quality and flavor, Pinocchio's Pizzeria on North Lake Avenue is a must-visit. I started my meal with their bruschetta, and it was an immediate standout, freshly chopped tomatoes, vibrant basil, red onion, and garlic piled high with a delicious vinaigrette dressing that sets the tone for the whole meal. When it comes to the main event, the pizza is sheer perfection . Whether you go for a classic pie or one of their specialty builds, the crust hits that ideal balance of structure and chew, loaded with top-tier cheese and fresh toppings that sauce tastes like they were put together with real care. Great food, wonderful neighborhood vibe, and an easy 5/5 stars from me. I'll definitely be back to work my way through the rest of the menu! read more

You know, I've been eating at Pinocchio's for a minute! We had my dad's memorable celebration here in 2016. The servers and food have always been good. Today? It was nasty and the servers had the most unfriendly, attitudinal demeanor... I started to pull owner Armen , over to ask him what the hell is with your staff? yet opted to go to yelp. When I walked in, I sat at bar as I was ordering a small pizza to go. Mind you the place was pretty empty. I sit at bar, 2 servers at the bar, never acknowledged me, never looked up looked right through me... I waited yet got nothing- so I finally lean over and tell one of em " when you decide to look up I need to place a to go order". Fast fwd- I ordered a pizza. It took way too long for the place to be empty . Maybe many to go orders? It didn't make sense..., had to ask was I forgotten? When pizza came, I get home ( which is 6 min) it was cold and crunchy- over cooked . A frozen pizza from the store would taste better. The server added to my annoyance by her unfriendly demeanor- didn't catch her name as again/ initially I was never acknowledge. That was like pulling teeth. Armen needs to groom and school his servers better- they're all young and lack inter personal skills... guess it's time I start eating pizza elsewhere! read more

1/2 We stopped by Pinocchio's Pizza in Pasadena for lunch and tried their lunch specials. It's a good option if you're looking for an affordable and filling Italian lunch. The lunch specials range from $8.99 to $14.99 and are available 7 days a week from 11 AM to 4 PM, which is a nice bonus. Options include soup and salad with garlic bread, pasta with your choice of sauce, or a 10" pizza with one topping, plus a side and a soft drink. We went with the lunch pasta special. The portion was a good size, and having soup or salad and garlic bread included makes the price feel reasonable. The restaurant has a casual, neighborhood feel with plenty of seating. Overall, a solid place for a reasonably priced lunch, especially if you're in the Pasadena area. Rating: 4.5/5 read more

The restaurant itself is very nice and clean. The service is good, can't really complain. The food is the star here. Everything we had tasted great. The only issue was they brought out two meals way before the pizza came out. All entrees should come out at the same time. read more

I've driven past Pinocchio's Pizza so many times but finally decided to stop in for happy hour, and I'm glad we did. Happy hour is available from 3 PM until closing in the bar area, and the value is hard to beat. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, Brussels sprouts, wings, fries, pepperoni pizza, a glass of wine, and juices for the kids. Everything came out hot and fresh. The mozzarella sticks had a great cheese pull, the Brussels sprouts were crispy and flavorful, and the wings were cooked well with crispy skin. The pizza had a nice crispy crust with plenty of pepperoni and cheese. Service was friendly, and our food came out quickly. The restaurant has a relaxed neighborhood pizza spot vibe that's great for families or meeting up with friends. We'll definitely be back for happy hour, especially considering everything we ordered came out to under $50. read more

This is a casual restaurant. The food is good and the service is great. I really enjoy the happy hour menu. Great spot for a pizza and beer. The restaurant can get loud because the tables are so close together and the acoustics are terrible. I took off a star for that reason. Otherwise, a great place to eat. There is a tiny parking lot in the back, but I've never used it. There's also a makeshift lot across the street. I usually just park on the street. read more

Incredible dishes. The seafood mushroom linguini and seafood alfredo were immaculate. Sauced and seasoned Al dente linguini with incredible cook on the seafood. The chicken parm was one of the best I've had, sweet and zesty marinara. And of course the pizza! Got the hot honey pepperoni with ricotta and it was one of my fave bites. Thin crust, balanced sauce and toppings, and good size to share with 4-5 people easily (got the largest size) Service was great until things got super busy with a catered party in the other room but all good! read more

Grabbed lunch at Pinocchio's Pizza with a friend on Saturday and everything we tried was delicious! Our meal came with garlic bread, and we also ordered the bruschetta to start. It was so flavorful and well balanced, with a fresh herby taste that we really enjoyed. The Caesar salad was fresh and tasty, and the meat lovers pizza was sooo good. My personal favorite was the carbonara. The creamy sauce with the runny egg yolk tasted absolutely heavenly! The portions were really generous, and everything was such a great value. Definitely a spot I'd come back to with friends and family! What we ordered: -Bruschetta -Caesar Salad -Meat Lovers Pizza (12") -Carbonara read more

Went here for dinner and ordered the Mozarella garlic bread and the Hot honey & pepperoni pizza! The garlic bread was pretty good especially with the drizzled balsamic vinegar. It's a decent pizza joint if you're in the area and looking for something filling, easy and averagely priced. The staff was super nice and friendly. My favorite part was definitely the ambience. I love how the middle seating lounge was spacious and comfortable- I would come back with a big group and would be down to try other items from the menu! read more

It's been quite a while since I have hit Pinocchio's so when I was looking for a good Happy Hour spot and saw that their's hadn't changed much in the last decade or so that made up my mind. Nothing like a good pie and ice cold Barley Pop on a solo afternoon out. It was 3:30 and the place was empty. I was greeted by Fabi at the bar. He was quick to get me a set-up, menu(s) and water. Looking over the Happy Hour menu I noticed that the beer price that they advertised on their website was different than what's on the menu. I asked about this and showed Fabi. He phoned his manager and told me that the website had not been updated, but they would honor that ad......bottle beer only. Cool! I ordered my pie.....Pepperoni and Pineapple, and got a cold Stella. Soon the place was getting busy and Fabi was dealing with phones and a wave of customers. He handled himself very well. Then Gianna got there and she really stepped up (for a brand new employee) to give him a hand and made sure that everything ran smoothly. My Pizza came out and I was more than pleased. Loaded with tasty Pepperoni and sweet Pineapple, it was cooked perfectly well done (like I ordered). Added the gratuitous Parmigiana and Red Chile Flakes and I was in Heaven. For $17, a 10" Pie (2 meals), 2 ice cold Stella's and stellar service is a great Happy Hour deal. read more

We had our micro wedding in the Vintage Room at Pinocchio's Pizza and had such a great experience! Sophia was our contact person and waitress for the event, and she was wonderful. She communicated with us beforehand, really took the time to understand how we wanted the room set up for both our ceremony and dinner, and was attentive throughout the entire event. The Vintage Room is already beautiful with the chandeliers and exposed brick wall, so it really doesn't need a lot of decorating. We added vibrant cheesecloth runners and colorful floral arrangements, and it came together beautifully. We've had other events here before and have always had a great experience. The food never disappoints--it was delicious and a hit with everyone! I would definitely recommend the Vintage Room and would absolutely reserve it again for another event. read more

First time here. Came for a 50th bday party. The food was excellent (penne with salmon and chicken spinach lasagna) and great service from our server. My only gripe was when we arrived, we were directed to a room but had to walk through another person's 15th bday party that was going on to get to patio. We were so embarrassed! Then when we settle down in the back patio, we were then told 15 min. later by the same hostess that our party is actually in another part of the restaurant. Honestly, this was very unprofessional. The booking wasn't last minute and they should have known where to sit us from he get go. read more

Tried the cutest Italian pizza spot in Pasadena and it did not disappoint. We started with the spinach artichoke dip served with perfectly toasted bread-super creamy, cheesy. We shared a combination pizza loaded with toppings (every bite was packed with flavor) and chicken parmigiana that came with pasta and a fresh side salad. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender inside, and smothered in rich marinara and melted cheese. The atmosphere really tied everything together-warm, cozy, and inviting with that classic Italian charm. They offer both street parking and parking in the rear, plus a banquet room available for parties and special events. Definitely a go-to spot for a casual date night or brunch vibe read more

I met up with the lovely Sisters B for a Holiday get together on a Wednesday night. There are two sections to this restaurant - a formal dining area and a bar lounge area. Even though we had reservations we were seated in the lounge area, which was fine since we were able to take advantage of Happy Hour. However, it's beer & wine only and, unfortunately, they were out of Prosecco. Boo! We did order food from the happy hour menu: 10" Cheese Pizza ($7.50) Brussel Sprouts ($6), & Bruschetta ($6). Happy Hour is daily (3 pm - close. Bar only), and there are some great deals. Our server Lilah was pleasant, and our food arrived in a timely manner. The pizza was a thin crust. I prefer a thicker crust, but the cheese was good. The Crispy Brussel Sprouts were delish. I really enjoyed them. The Bruschetta was tasty but a bit heavy on the vinegar. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and had a wonderful time together. *Live music every Saturday. *Shared parking lot or street parking. read more

Cute pizza place with cozy pub vibes, decent pizza, and a long happy hour menu 3pm to close with a solid selection. Was a nice spot to meet up with the girls for a holiday catch-up sesh! We ordered some items from the happy hour menu to share - the cheese pizza, the Brussel sprouts, and the bruschetta. The cheese pizza was a good size - more than enough for the four of us to share along with our other items. It was a pretty good pizza - nice flavor overall with just the right amount of cheese and sauce and a nice texture to the crust. I'd definitely order a pizza here again. The brussel sprouts were ample but bland and I was disappointed. Same with the bruschetta- the bread was nice but it was surprisingly bland for a bruschetta. The portions are very generous, especially given that these were off the happy hour menu, but I wouldn't get these again. They have some booth seating available circled around a bar area - the vibe is mostly cozy pub style mixed with a little sports bar feel. They also have a banquet hall separated by a small thin wall - there was a large party going on that was very loud so it was a tad challenging to carry on our convo. But it's the holiday season and it contributed to a festive, lively vibe overall. Service was a tad slow and the servers seemed stressed and maybe overwhelmed- possibly by the large party in the banquet room? Prices were very good - especially for the area. I didn't see any parking lot - there's free street parking in the area but it gets crowded easily. I'd come again to meet up with girls since it's a good location for us - definitely a good spot for holiday parties and other gatherings. read more

The place is super underrated. I think that the lunch specials are really worth the price. I had a delicious meal. The staff were also friendly and checked up on us multiple times if we needed anything. The spaghetti for the chicken parmigiana was al dente and the sauce was tasty. The chicken had a nice thin breading and the mozzarella on top was really good. Next, I got the hot honey pepperoni pizza. It had ricotta cheese. I love hot honey and it is so perfect with the mini pepperoni cups. There's a good crisp to the pizza and I didn't feel like it was too greasy which a lot of hot honey pizzas are. Lastly, the wings were breaded really nicely. It was super crunch and meaty. It was really good with the ranch. read more

I came here and tried three classics--chicken parmesan, ravioli, and pizza--and each dish brought something enjoyable to the table. The chicken parmesan was the standout: tender, well-seasoned chicken with a crisp breading, topped with a rich marinara and just the right amount of melted cheese. It struck a great balance between hearty and comforting without feeling overly heavy. The ravioli offered a nice contrast. The pasta was cooked al dente, with a filling that was flavorful but not overly rich. The accompanying sauce complemented it well, though it could have benefited from a touch more depth to really make the dish memorable. The pizza was classic and satisfying--good chew to the crust, evenly melted cheese, and a well-seasoned sauce. It wasn't the most unique pizza I've had, but it delivered exactly what you hope for in a reliable Italian pie. Overall, the restaurant provided a solid, enjoyable Italian meal. With great and friendly service. The chicken parmesan alone makes it worth a visit, and the rest of the dishes round out a comforting, familiar dining experience. They also had plenty of screens to watch sports. You can come with your family or friends to watch the game. Really enjoy the friendly atmosphere and catching music. read more

Truly a local gem! The food is beyond delicious, and it's become my family's go-to spot for a reason. One thing that really sets them apart is their happy hour, available Sunday through Thursday from 3pm until closing. Those kinds of deals are so hard to come by nowadays, and it just adds to the overall amazing experience. The environment is super chill and relaxing, and the staff is always amazing and attentive, making you feel right at home. Every single item on the menu is delicious, and aside from their great happy hour selection, they also offer lunch specials. The pricing is super affordable too, which is a huge plus. There's plenty of street parking, public parking lot across the street and additionally, a small lot in the back for added convenience. Cozy, old school neighborhood pizza joint + sports bar. When I dined here over the holidays, I also saw several other parties that were somewhat nicely dressed for their holiday parties. There is both parking in the back as well as street parking. What we ordered for the table: 1. Carbonara pasta - creamy and tasty 2. Chicken Alfredo - a classic dish 3. Bbq pizza - while I personally considered the bbq sauce on the sweeter side, this was a solid pizza with a generous amount of chicken Portions are fairly generous - our entire bill came out to just $50. Although we didn't partake in happy hour, I would love to be back to try it - love the fact that hh is every day from 3pm to close. read more

Came in for lunch and this spot is exactly why lunch specials still matter. I went with the Chicken Parm lunch plate and it was solid. Big portion, flavorful sauce, and the chicken was cooked just right. The plate also comes with soup or salad and a side of bread, which makes the deal even better. The rest of my party tried the BBQ Chicken personal pizza and the Spaghetti lunch plate. The pizza looked legit with plenty of toppings and the spaghetti was a classic comfort pick that hit the spot. Everyone at the table was happy with their food and the service was quick and friendly, which is perfect for a lunch stop. If you're in the area during lunch hours, this place is an easy choice. Pinocchio's Pizza in Pasadena is a charming, family-style spot that delivers way more than just pizza. They offer lunch, dinner, and a solid happy hour, and the vibe is relaxed--perfect if you want good food without the Old Town Pasadena crowds. I came in for dinner and went with their steak dinner, which comes with fettuccine Alfredo and broccoli. The steak was cooked exactly how I ordered it--juicy, well-seasoned, and paired with a house-made steak glaze that hit all the right notes. Honestly, that glaze alone is worth coming back for. The fettuccine Alfredo was also excellent: pasta cooked al dente with a rich, creamy sauce that didn't feel heavy. Simple, comforting, and done right. The dinner also includes a side salad. I chose the Caesar and it was classic, crisp, and refreshing--no surprises, just a solid Caesar the way it should be. I also tried the spinach artichoke dip, which ended up being one of my favorite bites of the night. Creamy, cheesy, flavorful, and served with warm bread. I added garlic bread on the side because... why not? And it was delicious. The ambiance here is chill and welcoming. It feels like the kind of neighborhood spot where you can actually relax and enjoy your meal. Service is a major highlight--my waitress, Adrianna, was friendly, knowledgeable, and walked me through the menu with great recommendations. She clearly knows the menu well and helped me narrow down some of their top-selling dishes. I didn't get to try the pizza on this visit, but based on everything else, it's definitely on my list for next time. Another plus: Pinocchio's has its own parking lot (rare for Pasadena!) and banquet rooms available for larger parties or events. Overall, I highly recommend checking out Pinocchio's Pizza. Great food, warm service, and an easygoing atmosphere that makes dining here a genuinely enjoyable experience. Looking forward to my next visit--and finally trying the pizza. read more

2nd time coming here and idk what changed, maybe how busy it was because my 1st experience wasn't bad but the again, I've been to way busier restaurants with more demanding customers than this and received better service and food. We honestly felt rushed. One thing I don't like is when servers do not follow up on their customers if refills are needed. Every time I tried to get a server's attention, they walk past me so we ended up having to borrow each other's napkins cause we there was no extras. The vibe was just off and the pizza took long enough and when it came out the crust was too burnt we didn't finish it.
