No bread service!?!?! Especially at an Italian pizza place?!?!? Especially when I went to the restroom and all I saw was bread, wow! Calamari - very good Margarita Pizza - okay Seafood Alfredo - okay Shrimp Mushroom Linguini - disappointing Service was really slow and the servers seemed annoyed or overwhelmed. Not sure if it was at us or what because they were not very nice to our table. Was it because I asked for bread service? Prices were okay. Generous portions and delicious food. We went early on our way home from Descanso Gardens so they were not real busy when we arrived. They were setting up for what looked like a wedding party in their banquet area...Our server was very attentive and even noticed they had put mushrooms on my pasta when I had asked for my dish without them. I had the penne with sausage and peppers. My husband had the chicken parmigiana.. both were yummy. The sauce was a little on the sweeter side if you like it that way. Visited on 9/7/25. Quaint restaurant which also has two attached banquet rooms. Parking is a bit of a challenge with a small adjacent parking lot which backs to a residence. Additional parking available and a lot across the street I believe. Now let's talk about the food. We ordered mozzarella sticks to start and calamari. Mozzarella sticks arrived with balsamic vinegar and were delish!! I don't think I'll ever want to eat them any other way going forward. Both were great. The garlic bread was tasty as well. One order had cheese and the other plain. For the main dishes, we ordered a spinach ravioli, lasagna, chicken parmigiana, chicken Alfredo and Cesar salads. Everything was delicious and savory. The salad had a little bit more dressing than we cared for, but overall was good. The kids spaghetti was good according to my grandson. Nice portion sizes. If I had to rank the food from one to four being the best, I would say the spinach, ravioli, lasagna, chicken Parmigiana and then the Alfredo. Overall service was great. They also had a bar which looked to be full of a variety of spirits. Overall, we will be back forever in Pasadena again. read more

I had high hopes for this place after seeing the ratings, but I found the food to be pretty disappointing. We got the bruschetta, margherita pizza, pizza bianca and shrimp and mushroom linguini pasta, and overall the ingredients were not good quality. The tomatoes in the bruschetta and margarita pizza had no flavor. The bruschetta was overwhelmingly sour from the vinegar that it was hard to detect any other flavor from the other ingredients, and the toasted bread wasn't crunchy. The mushrooms in the pizza bianca and the pasta had no flavor, but the sun dried tomatoes in the pasta had a good amount. I think that was the best tasting part of the dish. The pasta came with salad and garlic bread. The salad was probably the best tasting dish of the night, mainly because of the vinaigrette sauce, which is kind of odd because this is supposed to be a side dish. The garlic bread wasn't crunchy and taste wise, the frozen one from Costco is better. The pizzas were all very bland across the tomatoes, mushrooms, basil and cheese. Crust is not crunchy at all, and the pizza bianca felt overwhelmingly greasy. Because it was thin slice, the amount of grease made the slices so soggy. Despite not being a fan of the flavors, the portions are pretty good for the price, especially the pasta which had a good amount of shrimp. However, we came on a Friday night and about 3 of their beer on taps were out, and their beer selection isn't very large to begin with. read more

I ordered a small pizza through their online Toast portal and had it delivered. During an NBA Finals game, it still only took about 30-40 minutes to get to me. The crust was crispy, the sauce delicious, and the veggies with good crunch. I'm glad to have had enough for leftovers too! read more

Honestly this place hit the spot for pizza. We ordered the BBQ chicken, spinach dip, and they also recommended the Hot Honey Pizza. The pizzas were perfect in proportion to crust and toppings which it being really tasty as well! They offer different sized for the pizzas which is perfect for everyone with different appetites. Upon entering you are welcomed by this great bar area and seating with couches and the decor on the walls all fit so well together. Five tv's , four booths , and plenty of smaller tables around. I ordered the spinach ravioli, and there is a choice of soup or salad. I ordered the ministrone soup. Now before I go on about the food, I have to mention the wait staff. After seating ourselves, I was with 4 friends, which is fine we were waited on by a waitress and brought our waters. Great so far! Right?! Hold on! So we chatting and decided to order. One of my dining friends tried to get the attention of the waitress , who simply waived to us and continued talking with the other servers. WtFreak! Ok so a waiter comes moments later takes our orders . The salads come, then the dinner plates, yet my soup, remember I ordered the soup!? Well it never came! So I just told the waiter to bring my meal without the soup. No problem, ugh, let's see if it's reflected in the bill. ANYWAY, frustrated oh you bet. The waitstaff were all fake smiles and trying to make up as they say me writing and after the complaints of no attention, failed refills, and clearing of the tables. I am beyond disappointed with the booking practices and the absolute lack of professionalism at this establishment. They refuse to refund a deposit for a large party reservation in their restaurant not their banquet room. They Can't explain what the deposit covers if you cancel. They don't provide info that ahead that is non refundable other than it is at the end of the menu. I canceled 40 days in advance due to an emergency. The restaurant has plenty of time to fill that spot in addition to it only being in the restaurant itself, and not in their actual bank room, which would make more sense regarding a deposit. In addition, they should have a legal document signed if they're going to be deposits involved. Poor business practices, unfair, and money hungry! read more

We heard a lot of good things about Pinocchio's Pizza so we decided to give it a try. When you walk in, there's a good amount of space inside. Perfect for a date night or a group of friends. We ordered the garlic cheese fries to start. Super cheesy and the garlic flavor was very prominent in each bite. Next we ordered our meals starting with the eggplant parmigiana. The lunch portion came with a salad and garlic bread. The dish also had fettuccine alongside it too which was delish. The second meal was the carbonara. I really enjoyed this dish especially with the fried egg on top. I opted for the dinner portion that included side salad and garlic bread. Finally we wanted to try the small meat lovers pizza. Recent lunch pizza was a little soggy on the bottom, but maybe that was because it was in the take home box. Reheated in the oven at home and it was ok. I like the minestrone soup with so many vegetables. It's not overwhelmed with pasta like so many minestrone soups are. I'm wondering if whoever makes it could put in less salt as it is too salty. I have to drive a ways to get to this restaurant but I've been to this place a few times now and each time I get more impressed! I'm a creature of habit so I always get the lasagna but this last visit I tried the steak fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. The food here is seasoned and paired perfectly with the sides. One of these days I'll have to try dessert. I'm always so satisfied with dinner I never have room for dessert. As we approached our shower date, they were very good at responding and answering all of my questions in a timely matter. Filthy and disappointing! First off do not order the pizza, it's dry and tasted old. There were 4 of us, my friend ordered the pizza, I ordered the Afredo Pasta, another friend ordered caesar salad and and 4th ordered the spaghetti. After ordering it took 50 minutes for our food to come out COLD, yuck! I sent it back to be warmed, praying they wouldn't spit in my food. Anyway, we ate what we could because we were hungry, we left the pizza because it tasted old and cold. We paid our bill and I decided to use their restroom before we left. Hosted a baby shower here in February and it was handled excellently! Marina was my primary contact and she did a great job. The Vintage Room is gorgeous and the brick wall adds such ambiance. It's the perfect size for a mid-size event and private because it has its own entrance and bathrooms. The price for the event was reasonable and the final price was exactly as originally quoted. The food was served buffet style and it was plentiful and refreshed as needed. We added the sangria/mimosa package which was a good plus. I did have to ask for drink refills a few times so it would be nice if they followed up on that a bit more frequently. Other than that the event was perfect. First Impressions- came here for my friend's stepdad's birthday dinner... the space is very big and has cozy lighting. They had enough seats and a long table to accommodate about 20 people. My only beef is that there was a larger party at the end of the room that was super loud and obnoxious. Even the partitions set up could not stifle the loudness. The Noms- my sister got the lobster ravioli and it was delicious. Generous portions. And not too heavy on the sauce... I ordered the penne with salmon... it was a little underwhelming, but the vodka sauce was very good, and there was generous helpings of salmon. I didn't like that the penne pasta was a little overcooked and a little oversalted to the point that the salt was the overwhelming taste even more so than the sauce. I prefer pasta to be al dente. In Conclusion - I really enjoyed my meal here, but I think that's mostly because of the people that I was with... they have a happy hour menu that goes until closing, which is really nice. I drove myself out here was for meeting my PCC Summer/2024's Business class's classmates and professor for our class dinner earlier tonight on our last meeting this term, 08/01/2024. This was such a delish spot for a large group gathering: having a large group gathering actually helped the bill at the end which totaled out to be $12.50 a person. Whoa. This was like the cheapest yet upscale Pizza dinner I have ever experimented this 2024 year so far on top of ordering bottomless coffee with creamer on the side. Double Yum!!!!! Service: our waitress, Anna was topnotch. Hope I'm spelling her name correctly. I'm sending her 10/10 for sending me a fresh cup of coffee, fresh pitchers of water..... Food: 10/10 we ordered from appetizers such as their Calamari dish, cheese sticks, bruschetta to Caesar Salad/Greek Salad to Pinnochio's Pizza....you name them, we got them on our table. I'm extremely stuffed now perhaps till tomorrow morning's brunch time. This particular pizzeria utilizes thin crust for baking their pizzas but was quite juicy from the Pinnochio's pizza slices I chowed. We also ordered the vegetarian pizza because 1 of our classmates is vegetarian. From the excellent service here, I will be back in the future if I'm craving their coffee and go try a dessert item again which I think I definitely will....
