The portion was on a normal sized plate. It came out to almost $22! I should have gone to Cafe de Olla in Monrovia instead. Same price but bigger portion. I find it shocking that they didn't serve chips and salsa on the house. Kalaveras used to do that. I ordered the tamarindo on the rocks and it's was delicious for $7.50 on margarita Mondays. BEWARE!!!! This was my first and last time coming here. Got here at 7, got sat at 7:05, got greeted by my waitress at 7:20, got my drinks at 7:45, 40 mins just to get a drink? Water tasted like sewer water, waitress NEVER came to get my order, Finally I stopped her and was like where's your manager?? She told me there was no manager there, that they were on the way. Saw this place on Instagram because of their super cool Soft Serve Margaritas. Decided to take my family for Mother's Day. Was very happy I made a reservation because this place was popping! The food was absolutely amazing and our server Lulu was so attentive and helpful. My mom is very particular due to health reasons so we leaned heavily on Lulu's expertise and every single item we ordered was delicious. Down to the chips and salsa which is always a good litmus test. But the Holy Grail of this place was by far, the manager Cristina's, spot on take of an Ohio trend, the soft serve margarita. There was not a single table surrounding us that didn't have a flight (yes they have those!) or a round of margaritas for the table. I got the mango, my family got pineapple. Be warned, these margs are deceptively strong and so good you definitely won't want just one. The flight is definitely the way to go if that's the case. They do have an extensive cocktail menu if margaritas aren't your fancy....but you might feel a little left out. I would definitely recommend booking a reservation as they've gotten quite popular over the last few months. But the staff was all very helpful and so sweet. Once we were sat, we never had to wait long for our orders or to be helped. I will definitely be bringing my friends back for a night out. This place is well worth it! read more

When I told our waitress she acknowledged that she made the mistake. Rather than correcting our order she brought me back cheese and expecting for me to make my own quesabirria. I gave them 2 stars just because of the karaoke dj and our waiter or I would have given zero. We like to go on Sundays for karaoke. Tonight we showed up a little before 9. We were told the kitchen was closed even though the restaurant closes at 10. We saw them continue to serve food and asked. We were told it was because the kitchen was behind. They should be able to accommodate and not close the kitchen because they fall behind. We came here for their Happy Hour! I had their Pepino limón margarita (slushie) so delicious and very loaded... was definitely feeling it by the time I was done slurping it. Also Taco Tuesday all delicious tacos but, you gotta try their chícharon verde!! We had their spicy buffalo wings... so much sauce so yum, then to finish it off their Taquitos dorados de Tinga!! A total must! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated with hand painted art on their walls which is just so colorful and captures your eye! What an amazing experience. My first time coming to Kulturas. Was planning on going for brunch but decided to come on Cinco De Mayo instead. I'm glad that I did. The ambience really gives that Mexico Cantina feeling. The art work is outstanding. From the moment you walk in. The hostess Christina was so kind, patient and accommodating. Not to mention she was helping out the staff on the floor as well as making sure she greeted us with kindness. My server Joselyn was so kind. This place was so bad. I got a simple ceviche dish and it did not look or taste like ceviche. The cocktails were watered down and it was so loud. Even with the noise I could tolerate but the food was absolutely horrible. It's has a 4.5 stars but I really don't know how. Were were a party of nine and half of us were so unhappy with our food and returned it. While others felt bad and just left it.
