    Bag secured :)

Honestly, agree with everyone who returned or exchanged. Managment, needs to address this location and educate them on customer service. The employees (if you want to call them that) need to be trained on customer service, and friendliness. HORRIBLE beyond experience when spending hundreds of dollars. 'Make it complicated, make it a toxic experience that turns into high stress. The girls really ruin your day. Fire these girls

This is probably the worst Zara store I have ever been in the world. There is no customer service, zero. No one to help you with anything and one cashier on a busy 4th of July weekend with 16 people in line to pay. WoW... poor cashier sweating and stressing while working as fast as he could. What is corporate thinking??? The store was a mess, mixed clothes everywhere, I couldn't find anything decent to purchase cause it was so unorganized. It felt like a tornado had passed through the store. I'm in shock. But there was a great sale happening, specially at the men's department with suits.

Printed me a receipt when she told me "No we no longer print receipts".

Zero stars for customer service. Yesterday I purchased a pair of trousers, they said they would text me the reciept. I didn't get a text. I asked if I don't have the text will they be able to pull up my reciept with my phone number? The sales associate said yes it'll be in my account. Today I go back to exchange the trousers for a different size. I give my phone number to the sales associate 4x and she said there is no purchase of these trousers on my account and told me I have to call customer service. I said this is my account and I was just here yesterday. I asked her to try the number again she did and said there's nothing there and rudely told me again to call customer service for help. I told her that this is ridiculous that she's not allowing me to exchange the size. She asked me for my number once more (6th time) then said oh there it is. I said so you entered it wrong? She said no sometimes the system is slow. Ok so why didn't she wait those 5x before if she knew the system is slow? I asked her if they give paper receipts and she said No we don't do that anymore. I said so you don't provide paper receipts and your system has issues pulling up receipts so the customer can't make returns or exchanges and has to call customer service? She then proceeds to print out a receipt and handed it to me and condescendingly said thank you have a nice day. I said oh I thought you no longer print receipts? So you lied? This lady needs to be re-trained and they need to come up with a better system on receipts and returns/exchanges.

She pointed to the new arrivals, showed me the clearance sections and said if I needed any help to freely ask for it. While I walked around, each associate made eye contact and said hi then asked if I needed any help. Some retail stores these days have associates just saying hi but there was no eye contact just robotic phrases...but not at this store. Every associate genuinely said hi and was willing to help. It felt great. I was able to find 2 fleece pants on clearance for $3.50 each and took it to the register. The manager Lisa (who was also the same person that welcomed me right when I walked it) asked if I found everything okay and rang up my $7 purchase as if I was buying a $500 purchase. I remembered that I did want to look at Skip Hops Weekender Bag in person. Asked Lisa causeI didn't see it in the store. She quickly knew right away that there may be one in the back. She asked her team to grab it and I looooooooved it. So I grab 2 since it was on clearance. Overall, the team at the store is the nicest and most genuine in helping customers. It's a little far more me to visit this store but their customer service really wow'd me and I won't mind making the drive. But this past Sunday, my husband, our little girl dog and I finally got a chance to visit since we were visiting Old Town Pasadena during the afternoon. This store is very cute and really would be a little girl's dream because of all the unicorns, pink, glitter and sparkle. I ended up purchasing a mermaid coloring book for my nieces to add to their Christmas gifts that I have for them, but not sure if they are even into mermaids (and my husband doesn't seem to know either if they are or if they are into unicorns. These little girls change their interests so often it is hard to keep up). It was around 8pm on a Thursday when I went to the store. The store is on the larger side, and there are a few other shoppers beside me. I only see one worker and it's the guy in the tank top and jeans. I'm shopping for a bikini, and I grab three different styles and different sizes for each style since bikini sizing fluctuates, especially since I wanted to try crochet ones too. There's no one by the fitting rooms, but I see a fitting room door open, so I go inside. The fitting room is a mess, and there are no hooks for me to hook the bikinis onto, to the point I have to hook them on the door, the actual wall, and the doorknob. There is also gum stuck in the holes where the hooks should have been. I didn't really care though, I was just there to try the bikinis on. After trying three pieces, nothing looked good on me, so I gave up and hung everything back onto the hangers and onto the go back rack all together. Suddenly, that employee wants to run into my fitting room I had just exited, with speed. He checks inside. I'm over here thinking he just really needed to clean that room or something because it was one hour until closing. I start making my way out of the store, when he starts running towards me. I'm at the door, he steps in front of me, and tells me "Ma'am, I'm gonna need the rest of the swimsuits back." Me, thinking he just wanted to get started on clean up early, replies, "Yeah I put them all back on the rack!" He goes, "No, but there's empty hangers in your room so I'm gonna need the rest of those swimsuits." I tell him sternly, "Yeah, I just told you I put them all back on the rack." He goes "Do you want to show me then?" So I tell him, "Yeah, let's go." I walk him to the rack, and show him all the items I put on the go back rack, which were all the items I did and didn't try on. I then tell him, "I don't have anything in my bag, but if you want to check," and I show him my very small, open bag with no zipper that clearly doesn't have merchandise in it. I turn to him and say, "I don't have anything on under this shirt, but I don't have anything." For reference, I'm wearing a large baggy tee, but you can see my neck and it's clear I don't have any straps. I'm wearing tight spandex shorts, so if I was hiding something under it would be really obvious. He looks at me and goes "Okay then." I'm so mad at this point that I just walk out the store. If he really is the manager, behaving like this is insane. Doing all this for a 2 for $50 swim separates that I didn't steal is crazy. Do better.

A Slice of Shopping Heaven in San Marino…read more Serafina is less of a boutique and more of a retail paradise where the fashion angels sing and the decor whispers, "Go on, treat yourself." Nestled in the heart of San Marino, just a stone's throw from Pasadena, it's the kind of place that makes you feel like royalty--no tiara required. Upon entering, it's clear this is no ordinary clothing emporium. The mix of designers is so carefully curated, I half expected to find a gallery label next to the Nili Lotan display. And with threads by Sea NY and Helmut Lang hanging around, you're not just shopping; you're adding to your art collection. The handbags? They've got more personality than a reality TV star. Shoes that make Cinderella's glass slipper look like a flip-flop. Fine jewelry that has you sparkling brighter than the twinkle in your eye. And let's not forget the gift items--because who doesn't love presents? But wait, there's more! A children's boutique so adorable, even your little ones will want to extend playtime to dress-up time. With names like Splendid and Ella Moss, your kids are walking out of there runway-ready for the sandbox catwalk. Sipping on Pellegrino while the staff, who are more like your personal fashion consultants, cater to your every need? Check. Enjoying a cappuccino as you peruse luxury labels? Double check. Feeling as comfortable as if you were lounging in your own living room? Well, if your living room was a casually chic sanctuary of style, then yes--triple check! If Serafina were a song, it'd be a symphony of style, luxury, and comfort. I hate giving 2 stars, but in this instance my two stars go for the low level of customer service. No one greets you when you walk in (I've been a few times), no one asks to hold your items at the counter when they see you holding an armful of items, when I ask for a size they say that's all they have and can't be bothered to say they can order it for you or provide alternatives. This store seems to cater to the white and 60+ set (that's all there was at the store both times I've visited) and if you don't fit that demographic, they don't care you'll be dropping $5-600. I wanted to support a local business but I rather make the drive back to the country mart than give my money to a shop that does not value all of their shoppers. Perhaps I expect too much out of my shopping experience, but now more than ever (pandemic) I want my limited entries to shops to be memorable. There's also a small section of the store where the owner sells "vintage" clothing that has been previously loved. My favorite brands to buy here are Mayoral, Abel and Lula, and Tartine et Chocolat. The store also carries cute European toys and sometimes books. The one star Yelp reviews seem strange as it seems those reviewers don't understand how a business is run and they expect to see department store pricing and discounting. This shop is a small business that doesn't have the volume of Nordstrom or Bloomingdale's; thus, the pricing reflects the overhead to run the business and the transportation costs that imported clothing incur. There's a reason folks choose to shop local. The beauty of life here is that no one is forcing you to shop here specifically. If the price doesn't fit your budget, drive the distance to another shop, pay the fee to buy it elsewhere and have it shipped to you, or you can fly to Europe and buy it directly at the stores there.
