I visited Kohl's to shop for professional clothing, and my experience was extremely disappointing. When I approached the fitting room, an employee immediately stopped me and informed me that I could not bring my shopping cart inside and that there was a strict five-item limit. They even radioed another employee to notify them as I entered. I complied without hesitation by leaving my cart outside and selecting only five items. While I was trying on clothes, my husband remained outside the fitting room and observed a Caucasian customer enter with both her shopping cart and well over five items. No employee stopped her, enforced the policy, or even acknowledged the apparent violation. My husband brought the inconsistency to an employee's attention, yet nothing was done. Policies should be enforced consistently for every customer, regardless of race or ethnicity. Selective enforcement creates the appearance of bias and profiling, which is unacceptable. As a Hispanic customer, I found this experience both disheartening and offensive. Whether intentional or not, treating customers differently based on who they are--or appear to be--erodes trust and leaves a lasting negative impression. I sincerely hope Kohl's addresses this issue through better employee training and ensures that all customers are treated with fairness, consistency, and respect. read more

This Kohl's has very convenient parking for both EVs & non-EVs alike. Ev chargers (x2) are geared toward generic brands. We like to Kohl's (i.e., always use its discounted coupons when shopping) at this store, but this week, there is no coupons available; so we couldn't Kohl's here! Instead, we went & used their restrooms which 'are' known to be clean & stuffed with adequate amenities. Alas, they were cutting back a bit on toilet seat covers! This review is specifically for Joseph at the Amazon returns center. He is amazing and super sweet and when I had a bunch of returns, instead of making me feel like it was a drag or a nuisance, he turned it into a fun little game of seeing whether it would beat the record he once saw of 25 along with funny comments along the way that just made me feel so much better about being that person with the crap ton of returns. Meanwhile, I was trying to avoid turning back in case the people behind me in line wanted to kill me for having so many returns lol so I booked it out of there without looking left as soon as I was done, but wanted to acknowledge Joseph for his stellar attitude :) it was also close to closing time too which made it even more nicer of him to act so nice about it on his end, and not only that he did all of that still so efficiently and quickly. I've loved kohls for years. This location has always been great - great deals and super easy online ordering/pickup options. The people here have always been friendly when picking up or checking out at the registers. I always visit early weekend mornings so it's never crowded and not cluttered/messy. Amazon return lines can get a bit long but just be patient - it's one associate working the line and some folks have multiple returns at once. Always still greet you with a good attitude though! I did try bringing my pup one time and the associate told us that they're not allowed in the carts - so just noting that they're are dog friendly but you'll have to carry them around the store. read more

The nicest Kohl's I've ever stepped foot into! Very organized and well stocked. Store features 2 floors. Amazon returns and Kohls returns are on second floor but in different areas. There's a digital scanner for checking gift card balances which I thought was practical. The Little Co Lauren Conrad brand had the cutest and most stylish kid's clothing. Wish I could get it all! Promotions are clearly posted by clothing racks. I appreciate the breakdown of prices. No matter the time of day, expect a line when checking out. Shopping in Alhambra, California... Every time I see a Kohl's, I think of my LA Yelp friend, Phil Y., who gave me a great tip: Kohl's has clean restrooms. Whenever I'm on the mainland, I stop by Kohl's to look at Clearance items, check out local sports team's gear (ex: Las Vegas Golden Knights and LA Dodgers), and visit the restroom. Haha! This Kohl's in Alhambra is gigantic! I walked all around but couldn't find the restroom. Luckily, Kaitlin was working and offered to escort my friends and me to the upstairs restroom! Yikes! Upstairs!?!?! And yes - she escorted us because the restroom is way over in a far corner! Uhg! Later, I was looking for the sports teams' merchandise. Again, I ran into Kaitlin, who took me to another far corner on the ground level where I saw Lakers, Clippers, and Rams items! Yay! I almost bought another Dodgers shirt because the Dodgers are the National League West Champions for the 10th time in 11 years! Yippee! Thanks for your cheerful help, Kaitlin! I've been to a few Kohl's in my life. There aren't any in Hawaii where I live, so I try to go to at least one when I'm traveling. They sell everything from clothes, shoes, luggage, homeware to cosmetics. This is the first Kohl's that I've been to that has a Sephora inside. I was mainly checking out the women's clothing. I really like their clothes and it's quality fabric. I would have purchased more clothes if I had room in my luggage, but I didn't. I like their Lauren Conrad Collection and Simply Vera Wang. I also tried on some Levi's jeans. I really wish I had room in my luggage. I would have picked up a few outfits. If you're shopping for clothes I would recommend Kohl's. read more

Many of my go-to stores have closed (Mervyn's, Bebe's, Steinmart), thankfully, I still have Kohl's, Macy's, and Nordstrom! Of these stores, I go to Kohl's the most for price, selection, and good customer service. There are four locations close to my home or work. They have sales throughout the year with special semi-annual sales for cardholders. I must mention they usually offer Kohl's reward "cash" on the weekends. Based on your purchase online or in the store, you earn increments of $5 that can be redeemed the following week. That's one of the ways they get me to be a repeat customer! They have brand-label clothing for the entire family, household goods, appliances, towels, and shoes. I tip-toe past the Sephora cosmetics section, if I do enter, I will spend $50+ (yikes). You can find good gifts items for an anniversary or birthday. Unfortunately, they discontinued their wedding registry, but a bride/groom can add gifts from Kohl's or other department stores on MyRegistry.com. I recommend this store to everyone. check their ads online, or their app. Items can be shipped to your home, picked up curbside or inside at the Customer Service counter. Be careful with this place!!! They mark items picked up when they aren't. Placed an order for a "final sale" item, never picked it up, called to cancel it. They went ahead and marked it as "picked up" and now I am stuck with the charge for an item not picked up and they wont do anything about it. The store help is useless, customer service just tells me I need to contact the store. FOR WHAT??? They wont resolve the issue. This is definitely FRAUD on their part. How do you mark an item as picked up when it wasn't? How is it that no one is of any help??? This is ridiculous. Then when I question them in regards to it they reply with "I will make a detailed note on the account regarding this conversation" as if it were a threat because I said I would be posting a yelp/google review. read more

I have been shopping at this location since it opened. The one sales tactic I never liked was getting a discount coupon only to get a dollar coupon for another week. This technique had me returning 2-3xs a month, spending thousands over the years. Well, again I had a discount coupon and decided, "why not-it's been a while" The elevator was down and I had my service pup which meant I could not go upstairs for the item I wanted to see/purchase. I couldn't make it the following day (which was the expiration). So I waited until Monday thinking Kohl's would honor it since it was their elevator preventing me to shop. NOT! Kohl's NO longer has a "grace period" To make it really annoying, the elevator is STILL down (here I am writing a week later). So whether I went to another Kohl's, my coupon wouldn't be honored and had I returned last Sunday, the elevator was disabled and I still couldn't use the escalator since I have the pup. Mind you, this message is meant more for moms with babies/kids in strollers At this point, I highly recommend just buying from Amazon - better selections and cheaper prices. This review isn't about the staff or the selection--both are just fine. The problem is the constant, glaring understaffing at this location. Every time I visit, there are always lines, whether at checkout or customer service, and it feels like the store is perpetually short-handed. The employees who are there are doing their best, but it's clear they're stretched too thin. It's frustrating as a customer to wait so long, and I can only imagine how stressful it must be for the staff. Kohl's, it's time to raise your labor budget and invest in your employees. This place is like Target with more shoes selection. And the shoes come in issues with customer as well. Unlike others such as Ross or Marshall's, they do have many more shoes for everyone, but it is really annoying that they intentionally do not put the price tag on the shoes, so you have to bring the shoes to the cashier and she can scan to tell you the price. I don't know why they do this to burden the employees and customers. I ended up without buying anything there. But their selection is more complete and newer than their competitors for sure. The other thing I like is the return and refund process. They have a counter in front of restroom for that purpose. It does not take the line for people to check out and pay, they separate it to make things go faster and this is really a smart move. I came here for Sephora and was impressive to see it inside this place. My first time to be here because I always thought this was some sort of appliances or furniture store. What is impressive is it does look like Target without fresh food or drink and is much cleaner than Ross, the price is also similar to that of Marshall's. Basically I like this place, spacious and clean. The rest room is also quite clean. They put on 2nd floor to avoid homeless, my guess. But it does help us who do shop there. On a Saturday late afternoon in June, I preordered on Kohls app for a pick up a microwave using 30% coupon. As I walked inside, it appears that there are more apparel on the floor and more merchandise displayed in the 2nd floor. I waited on the online order line and return lady was busy with a customer and asked if it is self pick up and I said no that I ordered a microwave. Ive been to this Kohl's a couple times. It's usually a hit or miss with things. This store does have an Amazon Return and the online pick-up station. The online pick up station is located up stairs all the way to the far end of the store by the shoes. This store is fairly pretty stocked so if you need something you find on a Kohl's ad you might be able to find it here. I recently placed an online order and they were able to fulfill it in like less than an hour. As a warning to you shoppers, please check your orders before you leave! I ordered shoes and luckily before I left I opened the bag and box. The security device was still attached. Imagine walking out like this?!? I'm going to get flagged for shoplifting when I clearly have a receipt of payment. Save yourself the embarrassment and check for hanging security tags. I don't return much of the merchandise I purchase from Amazon, but when I do, I usually use Kohls to help ship my item(s) back. The counter to handle Amazon returns was located on the first floor of the store near the men's clothing, but when I visited the store this afternoon, there was a sign telling customers that returns had been relocated to the second floor near bedding. I never have to wait very long, and returns are processed successfully except for one incident that was sorted out by customer service. You get a confirmation receipt at the end of your return with a coupon to use at the store. read more

They don't price match! Even though the website clearly stated that they do. The cashier lady clearly didn't know what she was doing or the information online was wrong. Second, the price on the aisle is also different from the price on the checkout! The slippers online on their website says $8.49 but in store they were $9.99, and they won't price match to their own website. It's only a couple bucks extra for us but technically it's 15% more expensive. If it was a higher value item, we would be very upset. This review is solely based on my experience for AMAZON return at Kohl's. I am a dedicated Amazon Prime shopper who consistently looks for deals and stuff to purchase even when I dont need anything. I make reasons to go on Amazon to buy, which is not the best thing to do. Anyway, I buy so much stuff for my cat and I bought this scratcher for my cat. My cat's breed is Maine Coon. Pretty hairy and big. The scratcher I ordered was way too small for my lovely cat so I had to return. I left it at home hoping she will at least utilize at some point but she didnt. It's small for her but still big to fit in a regular box. Funny to admit, couldnt find the right size box to return, haha. Then I talk to an agent on Amazon Chat, he told me to just buy a box and return. In return, he said he will give me a $5 promotional credit. I said that works. Then I tried to print the return label, I had the option to return it at Kohl's? Without the label? Without packing? WHATTTTTTT. How did I not know this. I am sooo behind. It was super quick. I went in, no line, was done literally less than 10 seconds. The worker at the Amazon return booth took it as is, and my refund was issued literally 2-3 hours later even though I was informed it will take 2-3 days. SUPER FAST, SUPER CONVENIENT. No hassle. I love it. Now I dont have to wait until the last minute to return like I always do or end up not returning because I DO get lazy. This review was too long for what had really happened. I have to rate this in case someone tries to go here for jewelry... I know it's not the first place to come for jewelry so for sure you get what you pay... I was looking for bracelets for a while and for some reason all four bracelets had some issue, latch would close, last was loose, the bracelet latch area just was far apart from the links... weird description but it didn't latch right. Pretty bummed, pretty bracelets for the price, I would buy it but it didn't even function right. I understand quality isn't there from material, but at least function right. Worst Kohl's I have ever been to. Not stocked well, no help available on the floor, disorganized and extremely rude staff and manager. My family and I went in the evening. We got in line to pay well before 10pm but registers were slow. By the time they got to us at 10:07 pm, they said their registers had shut down and can't check us out anymore!! This is the most ridiculous thing ever. They said this happens nightly but they didn't bother to inform shoppers to pay before 10pm nor did they add attendants to registers to speed up check out of those in line. When we asked to see the manager, he didn't even show his face and kept making excuses. After waiting 20 mins we left the store. Worst customer service ever. read more

We went to this branch to return two boxes from Amazon. It was quick and easy to drop off. Although, we have a bit of a problem on one of the boxes. It did not have the code they need. So we have to return it using UPS. It was okay. We did not know we had to get a code and print it for the other box. Next time, now that we made this mistake. We will do it better. read more

Disclaimer: This review is primarily for the order-store pickup made around 07:00pm. I rarely go to this types of stores as I'm the thrift store type of person... just me being stingy and all. Parking area is plentiful. It is nice that the pedestrian walkway is clearly marked from outside of the store entrance into the parking lot itself. The pedestrian walkway on the parking lot is marked with blue stripes and is between the two parking sections. You can avoid getting hit by a vehicle moving out from a parking spot. But I doubt guests use that pedestrian walkway. It is clean inside the store. The escalator is narrow. Pricing is about the same as Target and other similar big box retailers. Unless of course if you can take advantage of coupons with a low minimum purchase requirement. Four coupons can be stacked at a time. However, some coupons are not stackable with other coupons. Items selection and availability is normal. Reward System. The KOHL'S cash is usable at the next purchase. However, it has an expiration date. The KOHL'S cash I got from my purchase on 10/14/2018 expires next week. I am not sure if my purchase timing is just off that is why I only have two weeks before the KOHL'S cash expires. For in store pickups, do make sure you have the correct item(s) before you leave the store. Especially those items that has a minute difference in packaging. I purchased the Hugo Boss Men Extreme but the one on the pickup station was the Hugo Boss Ice. There is a minute difference in packing but the extreme is only 60ml against the Ice that is 75ml. Both items are priced the same but, if I am not mistaken, the former is an eau de parfum while the latter is eau de toilette. And that explains why although the same price, the volume is different. Good thing I noticed it while still in the parking lot after removing the translucent plastic packaging that was wrapped around the eau de toilette's box. Exchanging it with the correct product was a breeze. There are places to eat just a walking distance from the store. Same plaza or lot. read more
