But i misplaced the receipt and was unable to do the exchange for the correct item.. This was frustrating for me and i got upset but Emily went out of her way to ease my frustration with a 10$ credit towards the new purchase if the correct item and just gave overall great customer service!

When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.

My husband and I went there on a regular old Wednesday. Who would have thought that we not only would have waited over 30 minutes still, but also NEVER been helped...yes, even on a Wed. There were two employees, but a couple of other employees came over to do something really quickly, but then quickly left without saying anything. It appeared that the two customers that the main two employees were helping were actually buying something, so OK, there's paperwork to fill out, etc. The horrendous part is...we're standing there for the entire 30+ minutes and NEITHER employee (nor the other two employees who cam over really quickly) ever said, "Thanks for waiting, someone will be with you as soon as we can", never one acknowledgement of our presence ever. It actually seemed like they were hoping we'd walk away, which we finally did. They all need to be fired for lack of customer serivce/people skills. I've been in my share of customer service jobs and I never, ever, ever would have never not acknowledged a customer who's obviously waiting. I finally kindly asked one of the other employees who was in/out quickly if someone was ever going to help us. He said something real quick as he's walking off, but of course he never came back. I wouldn't want to spend my hard-earned money there if you paid me!

    * 3 stars for the store * 5 stars for the employee that…read morehelped us with glove steaming! I wish I got the young gentleman's name because it seemed like he was one of the only ones in the store who 1) knew where things were 2) could perform an assigned task 3) actually help us out. The reason I am saying this is because we went to the cash register upstairs and the cashier was uncertain that the service was downstairs. Not a big deal, she radioed them and confirmed where we could go. Easy. We go downstairs and show that cashier the glove (brand new, just bought for christmas) and that guy did not know how to do the steaming services, which was also fine because he asked another staff member who helped us, HOWEVER, the first guy told us the cost of it (which there is no cost because after a certain price glove it is a free service). The second guy (bless him) corrected him and stated the price of the glove and why it's free. As the worker was breaking in the glove the other guy cashier asked him multiple questions about where things were, if they did certain services, if he could help this other guest. Honestly that cashier guy was doing NOTHING. This is all in the midst of our guy fitting the glove which consists of steaming and banging it with a mallet which could be dangerous! Just seemed like an unprofessional thing to do. Now maybe this guy was new so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but seriously it seemed like he didn't even bother trying to figure it out on his own before turning the the gentleman helping us. All in all the service was great, he was knowledgeable and answered the questions we had! It seemed like there was a large selection of inventory and some decent sales.
