I picked out several outfits and handed them to the salesperson to place behind the counter. This employee was super nice, very knowledgeable about the fit and sizing, and also very helpful. She seemed very authentic. I really enjoyed shopping with her assistance. Once I was done, she completed the sales transaction, and continued with a sincere, and polite closing phrase. She told me "see you next time". That being said, I will definitely visit this J. Crew again. It was a great shopping experience.

I love shopping here AND Nordstrom btw. The store has many items that you need from a department store with the quality of Nordstrom but maybe it was returned or never sold from the previous season. When I left the dressing room area I looked at the aisle floors and by the cashier area and it was the same. When I politely mentioned that to 2 people that work at the store, one said 'It has been one of those days' the other said 'We are short on staff'. I feel sorry for the people that have to work under those conditions. Another thing I noticed, they don't have the designer's area for the women shoes. Overall the store looks rundown. Review is for a man working in 8/30 in the afternoon around 4pm!…read more We stopped by looking for some hiking hats and couldn't find any in the store. I stopped someone while he was walking the hallways, not knowing he was assisting someone else, and he pointed me to a section of the store before continuing to help the other customer. When I got to the section, he was magically there to tell us of the three types of "hiking hats" they have in the store. Unfortunately, they didn't have what I wanted in stock but he also followed up with some nearby stores. Super helpful - made our trip so much faster! Thanks so much!

I had a very disappointing experience shopping here on Father's Day…read more My son was using gift cards to purchase his birthday present and accidentally miscalculated his total after adding a $63 pack of football cards. When I realized the mistake, I politely asked if that item could be removed from the transaction. The cashier immediately responded, "I can't," and offered no explanation or attempt to help. A manager was called over and seemed visibly annoyed. We were told there were only two options: either void the entire transaction and wait approximately 20 minutes for the gift card funds to be restored, or pay the difference and then return the football cards afterward for store credit. Since there was no way I was spending an additional $63 on football cards, we chose to void the transaction and wait. We specifically discussed that it was Father's Day, that we needed to get to a family dinner, and that we would wait the required 20 minutes so my son could repurchase the correct items. The manager advised us to wait near the entrance or continue shopping. After the 20-minute wait, we spent another 15 minutes waiting for the same cashier to help us complete the purchase, only to discover that all of my son's items had been returned to the sales floor. We were then told, "You just left the items," despite the fact that we had clearly communicated our plan and followed the instructions we were given. What bothered me most was not the store policy itself, but the complete lack of customer service. There was no apology, no empathy, and no effort to make a frustrating situation easier--especially for a child trying to use birthday gift cards. The entire interaction felt dismissive and unnecessarily difficult. The saddest part was that my son left the store in tears instead of excited about his birthday gifts. What should have been a fun experience became a frustrating and upsetting one due to poor communication and a lack of basic customer service.
