I always go to self-checkout, because (1) it's just my vibe to self checkout and (2) there is this woman who works at Target who is so funny and personable and nice - you don't run into a personality like that all the time, and it's so joyful. She is Black - and I wish I knew her name, and feel weird just commenting on her race, but just want to make sure the credit is going to where it needs to go. Stopped by here for a return but ran into some issues. Overall, the team handled it well despite the mix-up. ::Experience:: Came in to return a few items but noticed the receipts didn't match up with what I had bought, which was disappointing. Laura scanned everything but one of the items wasn't listed correctly. Glad they were able to sort it out with store credit. Tony's friendliness helped make a frustrating experience better. ::Customer Service:: Tony, the manager, stepped in to help and listened as I explained the issue. He was very understanding and took the time to resolve it. We went there to get a pair of pajamas and some sunscreen. After we left we discovered the sunscreen had been opened and used and so we returned, waited at the returns desk for over 20 minutes before someone finally showed up and processed an exchange for an unopened bottle. We then went home and discovered the clerk who rang up the sale neglected to remove the security tag from the pajamas and so now we have to return again to have it removed. If I don't have to leave then I won't. Today I placed an online order for an 18x24 frame at approximately 3:00 PM through Target Store #3121, located at 3121 E Colorado Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91107. The confirmation email indicated the item would be ready for pickup by 5:00 PM. I arrived at the store around 5:15 PM--well within the designated two-hour pickup window--to retrieve the confirmed order. Waited over an hour at the service desk while Tony (Supervisor) repeatedly dodged my inquiry, served others who hadn't asked for help, and offered only lip service. After 45+ minutes, he finally stated there were "no frames" available--despite the confirmed order. When I asked David (service desk) who the GM was, he hesitated before naming Jose, then claimed Jose had only worked the morning shift and I'd need to return tomorrow. Joel (also at service desk), while helping another customer, shouted across the floor: "Here, my name is Joel--J-O-E-L--do whatever you want!" When I told Tony someone would hear about this, he dismissed me with: "I'm done talking to you. Have a wonderful evening!" This is not just poor service--it's deliberate avoidance and disrespect. And suddenly, I go in there to the usual spot where you sell socks, and now there's baby diapers there! Then I go looking for a portable heater where it's supposed to be, and now it's containers! All else aside, directional signage here is lacking for sure. About a year ago I was on my way out and was pushed out of the way by a homeless man with a cart full of alcohol while security watched it happen RIGHT NEXT TO ME. They did nothing, I hadn't gone back until today thinking it was just a bad day. And I will never go back. Today there were aggressive teenagers in the parking lot selling stuff, I was approached IN THE STORE by someone begging for be to buy her stuff, and another homeless man "shopping." Security stood there doing nothing!! I felt unsafe. I tried calling the store when I got home and the phone just rang and rang and then hung up, repeatedly. This store is not safe. Went in over holiday break to pick up one specific household necessity but ofc ended up spending a gazillion additional dollars on some cayuuute stuff for myself. Store was incredibly clean and organized, clearance sections clearly marked. Not a lot of Christmas things left but still a few adorable decor items. Closing time should be at least to 8 pm. A pharmacy only open 8 hrs sounds like a brick mortar pharmacy. When you are stationed in a Target, it should stay open at least 10 hours. Doesn't make sense. People work and have to get through traffic. read more

I don't live here, I was just passing by this area and needed to grab an item. Pros: The store was clean and organized. The music playing was multicultural. Cons: There were VERY long lines at each of the three, YES ONLY 3 cashiers that were open. Soooo many people waiting. Before you snap back and suggest that I use the self check out (which I did use) I must add that that there was only three, YES ONLY 3, out of the 6 self checkout machines functioning AND the line for the self checkout was over 15 people. For such a large store this is a negative look. I know we are all so used to getting everything fast, instant gratification, but this was not even reasonable wait time. Why aren't more cashiers available if you see such long lines at both the self checkout and the cashiers. Managers or supervisors need to take notes and make some changes, hire more employees. read more

Parking is always crazy here but that's cause it is a convenient location and everyone loves Target! I personally haven't had any issues with this place. But I do agree the checkout lines are always super long and self-checkout is the best way to go (also has a long line too). They have a CVS pharmacy inside and target groceries. This used to be my usual target location. The selection has gone downhill, I REFUSE to buy anything in the locked cabinets. Deodorant? Really? Laundry detergent? Really? 'Theft' being the excuse but having to pay staff wages to assist with something like laundry detergent just seems counterintuitive. This review is strictly for the pickup service. Target offers same day pickup within 2 hours if your order through the app. The problem with this is that this particular Target almost never fulfills my orders within that 2 hour timeframe. It doesn't matter how large or small my order is, they can never seem to fulfill it in a timely manner. There have been times where it's legit taken them a full 24 hours. Why offer and falsely advertise a 2 hour timeframe when you know you can't make it happen? Yesterday I placed an order at 2:00pm for only four items - three of which were canned goods and the last being a can opener. At 8:30pm my order still wasn't ready so I ended up canceling it and going to shop for the items. I wouldn't recommend using the pick up service here. There are other Target stores in the area that do a way better job fulfilling orders within the 2 hour window. read more

I was in Target yesterday and really needed to get two of a particular product. I saw an employee who had a full rolling cart and she was trying to fill the shelf. I knew she was busy, but I really needed my additional product. Usually in these cases, employees will tell you it's only what's on the shelf or they'll direct you to another person in that dept. However, she stopped and checked the inventory and went in the back to get the item. She was gone for about 5 minutes but came out with my item. I really appreciate that because it's just very rare to get excellent service these days. This is my favorite Target because it has its own parking lot and it's giant! This place went through a bunch of renovations and is now beautiful and organized. Upon entry, you are hit in the nose by the aroma of pike roast at the new Starbucks on you left so naturally you have to get a coffee everytime you come here. To your right is the returns section. It is oddly situated where if there is a line, it kinda cuts through the entire front of the store blocking the doors. What I love most about this store is that it never feels crowded and things are usually organized/stocked. I dont know about you but I like to shop in quiet. When there is too much going on and too much cart traffic, I am instantly out of the shopping mood and need to go home. Whenever I walk by the clearance section, it is so organized that it makes me want to browse. Lots of good gems in the clearance section here I must say. The workers at this location are very friendly and willing to help. I also love that they have an Ulta in the middle of this location so its super convenient if I need to swing by for something quick. Overall, best location in my book! read more

But, seriously this location is always organized and the lines always move swiftly, so I'm always in and out. This morning I went in for watch batteries and the area they keep the batteries was gutted. This company spent money to reorganize and supposedly fix up this location. I can't say enough good things about the Electronics staff that helped me break free from AT&T. I was the Family Guinea pig to switch to a lower priced carrier ... and was in the limbo stage without any carrier ... so I went to Target to ask them to assist me with the "rest" of the carrier activation. Honestly - I wasn't initially confident that any store would be able to assist ... let alone an electronics kiosk at a big box store ... but I was so wrong. They were EXTREMELY knowledgeable and were super familiar with the activation process for my chosen carrier ... and even had a direct line to the Carrier's tech support for back end processes that needed to be done on the Carrier's side ... which I had NO idea about!! People are still going to shop at Target regardless of the reviews. This location is large (2 floors) offering a great selection of general merchandise, along with food, and produce. Target seems to have a better selection of the target brands in frozen, fresh, and bakery items when comparing Target to Walmart. I do find Walmarts food selection to be wider, along with better prices. The bakery items at Target are limited. Again, Walmart has a better selection, along with prices. This store has self checkout on both floors. The store is very busy on the weekends, but, parking is always available. read more

There is a rat manifestation happening in this Target location and management is not doing anything to address this issue. I have seen rats chewed through chips. Rats in the back of the shelves. I am absolutely disgusted and appalled by the lack of action. On top of that, there has been 5 confirmed positive COVID cases among employees, while rumors say the count is as high as 8. In LA county, an outbreak is defined as 3+ positive cases in which authorities MUST be notified to protect all workers and be shut down, if necessary. These workers are working without HAZARD pay and are forced to work and be exposed to COVID in fear of losing their jobs for speaking out. As Target stated, "We're here for you when you need us most. And your health and safety will always be our highest priority". TRULY. If you care about health and safety, please address these issues ASAP for the health of workers and the hundreds of customers that are exposed to these risks daily. read more
