I love shopping at Miniso wherever I go. I am fond of this chain. I was shopping in the area and I came across Miniso. Pasadena branch was very clean and organized. They carry Harry potter merchandise which I look for them in every store. They have many cute merchandise of Hello Kitty, Winnie -the - Pooh, and Lilo & stitch. They have a wide variety of snacks, beauty products, hair accessories, toys, cute tiny totes, stationary and more. The prices are fair enough. The staff were nice. I enjoyed shopping there.

Ahh miniso! If you want to get lost in This in very cute shop and see what's new in anime + blind box toy + "kawaii" + plushie culture, this is definitely the place to go!! Before you even walk in, you get to see what the store offers, with ther huge display of plushies showing to the outside on the side of the store, and with figures, etc right on the front hear the entrance. They have so many ip's to shop from! Toys/figures/various other goods from western fandoms (Harry Potter, Disney, etc) to pretty much any Asian fandom you can think of (Sanrio, anime like JJK and Naruto)! I think there's something for everyone here. They also have a variety of snacks, Asian skincare, and more! Workers are very fun to talk to and are always there to provide a fast and smooth shopping experience! I got a few anime blind box toys, and will definitely come back to try some snacks and buy other goods!

This is the worst one. Stay away from this store. I came into the store. And was not greeted by anyone. I was looking for a team member to ask about the wireless mouse. I was unable to find one and looked to see if the mouse had a USB input. The worker rudely came up to me and my partner and said if we open the package we have to buy it. And she said it with a very sassy attitude. I told her why I was doing it and she showed no interest and didn't want to hear me out. The packaging did not even say it was battery powered. When I told this to the worker. She said "it's on the box. Now put it back". I did intend on buying the mouse but decided against it because of how uncomfortable the interaction made me feel. She did not even say goodbye or tell us to have a nice day. I will not be coming back to this location and advise no one else go due to this very rude employee Turns out there have been previous issues with this employee. There's a picture of her below but I've also grabbed it to keep it circulating . If the Miniso Brand is complicit with hiring employees like this and keeping them regardless of the years of complaints. MINISO will be a brand I can no longer support.

It's a small accessory and toy store located in the corner spot on Colorado blvd. The store is narrow and deep, racks are so packed inside. I found it's barely enough room to walk in between shelves, and mostly it gets jammed easily with other shoppers.

I would give this place zero stars. I spent $200 on Sunday, I even received a few free gifts. I came to buy some gifts and some blind boxes for my daughter. The first one she opened was disgustingly dirty & used I cannot believe this happened. I live far and do not have time to go back.. Do not come here. FYI everything was sealed.

After Chef Tony's Dim Sum, Hello Gelato, and YiFang Fruit Tea (I know... what didn't we cover LOL), I wanted to bring my daughters to Miniso. Wow... what a lovely store, but hot as heck! I was expecting to walk into a very cool store... it was cool seeing, but not cool feeling LOL. Unfortunately, the air conditioning was out of commission. Bummer! It must have been torture for the employees to be in here their entire shift. At least for the customers, we can leave whenever LOL. They had 3-4 fans running, but that's just a waste of energy. You're not going to cool down such a big space with fans. Hopefully, they have fixed the AC issue by now. Anyway, we walked around the store. Saw some very cute and adorable stuffies. They have other things, too. But we were mostly interested in the plush toys. Well, my youngest daughter found some sort of chicken mushroom. So we bought the portobello mushroom chicken and the white pokey dot pink mushroom chicken. I called the portobello one "sargent" because it has that in charge look LOL. I don't resonate much with the white pokey dot one so no name for it. I used to collect TY beanie babies for myself many blue moons ago, but nowadays, whenever I buy plush toys, they are gifts primarily for my daughters or other family and friends. My girls have plenty of them plushies LOL. Staff was okay. Prices are as good as they get. Ambiance is just lovely... I love my pinks and lavenders. We'll definitely pay Miniso another visit the next time we're in Pasadena... just love their plush toy selections! Thank you Miniso for creating fun and soft stuffies. Happy Miniso'ing!

Rude employee who wouldn't let my 3yr old daughter give my phone number. Incorrectly redeems points and doesn't listen. Do better Miniso.

The most rude employee experience I have had. This employee asked for my phone number and when my 3 yr old daughter wanted to tell her, she rolled her eyes at me and stated "I asked you". I told her I wanted to redeem my points for a blind box card and instead of listening to me, rudely stated that I needed to spend over $10 (which I bought two snacks to reach) and redeemed my points for money off instead of the blind box card. When I told her she redeemed the wrong thing, she blamed me for it and said I didn't tell her about it, when I clearly told her several times and even showed her what I was talking about to explain the situation. This review though isn't even about the blind box. It is about the incompetence, ignorance and unhelpful behavior of this employee. What a poor representation of the company. What a failure to properly hire and train employees. I then asked to speak to her manager and the associate told me that the manager was gone for the day. But when my husband went back in to talk to the associate, who wouldn't give us her name btw, a shift leader, Marylin, magically appeared. As I was walking back in to talk to the shift lead, I could see the rude employee and the shift lead likely making fun of the situation as she has her arms up in the air and they were laughing. I went back in to talk to this shift lead, who was not responsive, wouldn't give me the contact information for any upper management, and wouldn't give me the associate's name either. I took a picture of this associate after her rude interaction with me and my daughter. I hope someone trains this employee better or writes her up and hopefully she gets some remediation in customer service. This is so unacceptable. Do better miniso.

Some birthday gifts purchased from the store for my daughter

The Customer service is awful. I purchased some little stuff for my daughter's birthday and the sales lady gave me a face and threw the receipt hard in the bag. This happened a couple of minutes ago. Be careful with who you are hiring. The customers day can be ruined because of a bad service.

Wow!!!! This is Another Japanese Boutique store but more along the lines of 'Daiso.' It was just too cute not to take pics of all the shelves upon my first visit here in 'Miniso,' Old Town Pasadena, CA. I was attending a Yelp Elite Experience down the street at 'Lather,' which wasn't far from 'Miniso.' I have definitely passed by a 'Miniso' from Ontario Mills' Shopping Outlets, but I decided visiting the Old Town Pasadena branch store first today because my meter parking hasn't run out of time yet. 'Miniso,' carries a lot of Sanrio items from Hello Kitty to Cinnamonroll. Aside from Sanrio, they also carry Disney character items from Mickey Mouse to Winnie-the-Pooh. I also found out they carry a Japanese brand of milk tea I drink from Nijiya (shown in a pic attached with this review,) so I had to buy a bottle, come to find out the bottle comes with a Dumbo sticker print, that's just way too cute! Customer Service was super topnotch: the cashier lady had her hands full since the store got sort of packed, and she was by herself. She didn't hesitate to offer help locating any items though. I made it back to my car beating meter parking on time. I'm definitely returning to 'Miniso,' to shop in the future trips next time I visit Old Town Pasadena, CA.

BEWARE: When paying, make sure to check the scanned price.

BEWARE: When paying, make sure to check the scanned price. These small blind boxes are in a rack, placed directly above a price tag that says $5.99 but when we came to scan our items in the self checkout kiosk, they are actually $11.99!! For this very small item, it is $11.99. When I asked the employee, he scanned it and said they are all mixed in. Maybe put a price sticker on the actual items instead to not deceive the customers. We ended up returning everything else we picked and left the store.

    Under $4

The good: This is a Japanese Daiso-like store with fewer items and more varying prices. They have household items like forks, knives and toiletry bags but also fun things for kids like plushies, kids' water bottles and backpacks. Come here for neck pillows, back massaging wands, and and random snacks like shrimp chips or dried seaweed rolls. They also have beauty products like eyebrow pencils, perfume, nail polish and facemasks. I came and bought the adhesive finger ring for my phone. The bad: The adhesive finger ring for the phone came in a 2 pack and were cute but aren't as strong in terms of its adhesive property compared to others I've had in the past. There's only metered street parking around here or a public parking garage. The interesting: You can find Marvel related things that you wouldn't imagine would have a Marvel label/theme on it. For example, Spider Man cologne or Marvel reed diffusers. If you want to smell sophisticated but also represent your comic-love, this is the place to get it done.

You will find a bevy of delightful greeting cards, jewelry and candles at both. However, I would strongly encourage you to visit both shops, because each has some items that you won't find at the other location. It was at this shop that I first saw the owner's, Diane, artwork on display. She's made a significant collection of gorgeous, shimmering mandalas.
