honestly, this is a large michaels with lot of supplies, upstairs is where classes are held and offices. I don't like that they have placed machine kiosks in place of people, but I understand and see the direction of automation and also increase labor so it is what it is. Parking can be full when it's busy. this is probably the most unusual of Michael's locations I've visited but with that it is unique! The staff were helpful. But the Latina lady with the yellow highlights, was super rude and unhelpful, made my shopping experience a nightmare. Telling me that I was in the wrong for wanting to price match to the website's prices, and that it's company policy to not do price checks, which, as a person that has previously worked in retail, as well as shopped at Michaels, know this is untrue. She was also unaware of whether anybody else was working that would be able to help me. I found what I needed through the older Latina lady, which I found in the back, who led me to exactly what I was looking for immediately. It was my first time getting this done, so it was truly a breeze. She had it done in 15 minutes and it looked perfect! She even went the extra mile and reprinted it when the first copy came out with too much white space, which was the right call. The final product was amazing and it cost less than $40! I haven't been in this Michael's location in a couple of years. And what's really neat is that there are a lot of different crafting materials here. Everything is organized very well and I could see how people would spend a lot of time you're looking through all the aisles and finding all the fun crafting materials that they have. The upstairs section is for their framing department. The checkout section is really easy. One section is for self check out. They have a lot of different kiosks set up and then if you prefer someone at the register, they have that ready to go as well. Luckily I had one of the team members help when I was figuring out how to redeem a voucher I had. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program so you can get rewards and bonuses. The parking is pretty large considering how big the store is. It looks like it would be small. But if you're looking for some crafts, and if you're a crafty person, this is the place to come and buy your items read more

Dont bother ordering online for pickup at the store. It is a GUARANTEE for TROUBLE one way or another. They are often out of stock and you dont find out until you get there. Getting your money back is harder than parting the Red sea. If you try to return items you ordered online for pickup get ready to be sent all around the world and told every excuse in the book as to why they cant just refund you at the store where you picked up the item in the first place. Truly a nightmare. I finally had to threaten to do a charge back with my credit card for them to magically be able to do a refund there at the store after all. NEVER AGAIN. Marcial was so rude and unwelcoming. I had purchased two items full price online and wanted to return. I had my receipt which showed I paid full price but the items weren't scanning properly. I showed him the receipt and he asks his manager if these were on sale even she said no and quoted the correct price. He was making it feel like I was doing something wrong when I wasn't at all and had all proper documentation. The manager okay'd him to give me my full refund. I will try to do a refund through the website next time because this was the worst experience. I thought it would be faster and easier this way but no it was worse. But geez when trying to inquire about customize framing the older lady behind the counter - I felt she was extremely rude. She is the expert here in framing not me. As I was mention I was inquiring about an Eagle portrait with certification. (I didn't have it on hand - but it was in my car. I would have brought it up . But she was rude I decided not even bother. Michael's beat the other two on price and the consult was a lot more thorough. They have proprietary software that shows you how your painting would look with different frames, which is really helpful in making a decision. A couple of weeks later and the painting was done. Don't get balloons here. Bought balloons to be inflated and filled out a form and everything. Then the day of the pick up (which is my daughter's bday party) I called to say that we need to pick them up an hour earlier because we didn't want to be late. First they can't find my order. They struggled to look for my order and I was on hold for a long time, then the woman on the phone finally found it only to say NO, pick up has to be on the time written on the form. 12nn, I was requesting 11. She was so rude :( They can't even inflate 6 balloons a bit earlier even if it'll mean a lot to us. Very poor customer service. I miss Party City! Stay away from their credit card. It is from Comenity Bank. You cannot get onto their website until it is too late. Your first bill will include and $30 late charge and interest fees. This bank has a class action suit against it, among other complaints. It's a scam. They are approaching many medium size businesses, i.e. World Market. Buyer beware. We purchased few expensive items for Christmas and after asking the manager if the item doesn't work can we return it , he said yes no problem if it doesn't work just return it. Well it didn't work we tried to return it next day and he said he never said that they will take any returned items but we said it doesn't work he replied I don't care in front of other customers. I never have an issue when ordering online from Michaels but there's always a first. I was sad to receive my order completely messed up and disheveled in the ripped up taped up box. I hope from now on Michaels will consider adding packing paper to secure items or send in separate shipments to avoid broken products and lost items. I ordered lap trays for my classroom and numerous pencil party packs as well as erasers and markers ! I posted some pictures. All items are usable.
