My art was 20" x 16" and came to $300 after the 70% off they are offering (automatically in their system). Pick up the was a day earlier than approximated. The work looks great and super pro! I have had other things framed in other shops in Pasadena so I can confirm this was a very good deal! (I expected $500+ so I jumped when I saw the deal!)

I was looking for clear contact paper for some books and, while the store wasn't too busy, there certainly was a bit of activity. I had the chance to speak with a couple of employees, approaching them in the friendliest way, just to ask where I could find the clear contact paper and both had an attitude from the get-go. I wasn't gonna let that ruin my day, so I thanked them both (first one had an attitude and wasn't helpful, second one had an attitude, but at least pointed me in the right direction, lol). Once I finally landed in the clear contact paper section, the price just left me wishing for either better customer service or an alternative solution. Given that I wasn't getting the first thing, I went seeking for the second one at Target. Won't be back, lol.

Such a cute spot!…read more We went in on a Monday evening as a walk in. They took us immediately and explained the rules for creating your own phone case and jewelry case. There's a huge selection of unlimited charms and icing colors to choose from. But warning!! Don't grab too many charms because whatever you don't use, you have to put it back. The table stations have all the tools you need to decorate your items from tweezers, glue, scissors, etc. The employees are super sweet. They showed us a demo and assisted us in putting our charms back. The parking was easy and cheap. There's a del mar parking lot right around the corner across the street from the gas station. We'll definitely come back to make our own plushies next time.

I made reservations online after seeing it on Instagram and thought it would be fun to take my daughter because this is totally up her alley. We went on a Saturday evening and spent 2 hours here. The crafts she did was a hair claw, ipad/phone holder, cake looking note pad, and I did hair clips. I love how organized everything is and how detailed the staff is in answering all of the questions we had. However, I do have to say that everything adds up quickly. It is pricey so this cannot be an activity we can do often. Definitely a once in awhile type of thing. My daughter was such a happy camper and cannot wait to return. They email you instructions on where to park as parking is about a block away. But it was super easy to follow and understand. I would definitely recommend this spot and could see myself coming back with my daughter again. 2 thumbs up from us! Tips: *Reserve online *Takes credit card *They have a rewards program, make sure to join. *Staff spoke English/Chinese *Restroom is available *Parking offsite *They have more than one location. *You can host parties here.

I've visited this business twice and initially enjoyed it as a fun place to do a special project…read more Unfortunately, my experiences with the customer service have been disappointing enough that I will not be returning. I purchased two gift cards as birthday gifts for friends. At the time of purchase, the employee mentioned that they were using a new system, so I was understanding when the process seemed a little difficult. However, I only received one of the two gift cards by email. I contacted the business separately to request the missing gift card. Rather than simply re-sending it, I was repeatedly asked to check my junk/spam folder. While I understand that emails can occasionally be filtered, this became frustrating when the gift card still wasn't received. The owner eventually located the missing gift card several days later, but by then my friend's birthday had already passed. What should have been a simple gift purchase turned into a frustrating experience and ultimately ruined the timing of the gift. Unfortunately, the problems continued when I tried to redeem the gift card. There was another significant delay and difficulty getting it processed, and I ultimately had to contact the manager myself to get the issue resolved. What was most disappointing was not simply that mistakes happened, but how the situation was handled. I would have been much more understanding if there had been a simple apology and an effort to make the situation right. Instead, I felt like I was being given a hard time for an issue that was not caused by me. Businesses can have new systems and occasional mistakes--that's understandable. What matters is how those mistakes are handled with customers and lack of training with their employees. In this case, I felt the communication, follow-through, and customer service were lacking. I was a returning customer and would have continued supporting this business, but after these experiences, I unfortunately will not be returning or purchasing gift cards from here again.

They have a bunch of fun activities from pottery painting, crochet, cream glue, and their new mochi cat just to name a few. Me and my friend decided to each paint a bowl. She's super talented and painted a cute potato for her friend. Staff is super nice and helpful and we had lots of fun. Do u like my snoopy? I also got to customize this squish jiggly mochi cat. Never have done anything like it but basically you glue on the eyes, paint on some color, and dust it with fur. Lowkey why did mine turn out looking like a hamster- Had to wait like 20 days before I could pick up my bowl but this is how it turned out. It can get a bit pricey but is a super fun experience to have with your friends so it's still lowkey pretty good. Mochi cat $58 Pottery $12 +$32 for bowl

We each found images of what we wanted to create online and were able to trace it onto the canvas. Since it was our first time, we all opted for the small canvas but in retrospect, maybe the medium size would've been easier as the tufting gun is harder to maneuver in smaller sections. The staff was very helpful in providing instructions and staying close by as we worked on our projects. Once we were done, we left our mini rugs to be picked up another day since the staff would put the backing on for us and clean up any loose ends and such. Initial Impression: I have heard of Lumee before due to its previous locations, but I never had the chance to visit. I just so happened to have extra time in Pasadena so couldn't resist stopping in. This shop in Arcade Lane opened recently and it is situated in a cozy area near Urth Cafe. It is bright, colorful, and hard to miss. The perfect place to draw in lovers of all things Kawaii. Service: the shops man is the absolute sweetest and not only took time to explain the concept of the shop, but he also showed all the artwork and some of his own work! The Mahjong bag is so impressive! Lumee offers tufting for carpets and supplies the tools. They also offer decoden cases, trinkets, hair clips, bags, and more! Locations have a variety of different experiences so check ahead! Overall: I was able to make a trinket for around $8! It can also be upgraded to a magnet and you can walk-in if you want to! They offer group experiences as well, and I think it would be cute for a date too. I really can't want to go again!

At Craft Sierra Madre, I can pick up very high quality supplies quickly, chat with the owner, and look around at all of the other things people are doing. So much fun. Craft Sierra Madre also gives lots of classes that I normally would not take like knitting and embroidery. I'm going to take them now!!!! The class was scheduled for 2 hours. We ended an hour early with an end product that was a bit underwhelming. Our instructor was friendly enough, though never introduced herself nor took the time to ask the class (all 3 of us) our names. I wrote a letter to the owner and never got a response back. Highly unlikely I will return. Below is the letter I sent, including a few other underwhelming aspects to the class: "Hello! I took last evening's Macrame Weaving workshop. As I was driving back to Long Beach last evening after the class, I had some time to reflect on the workshop. I signed up for it to learn a new skill that I could potentially teach my students. (I've been an Art Teacher for many years). Unfortunately, I feel very disappointed with the class as a whole, as well as with our end result product. I believe the owner was there last evening; I regret not having pulled her aside to chat, though I wasn't quite clear on how I felt about the class until I was on my ride home. Our instructor was very friendly and I so appreciate the use of the high quality organic cotton cord. I also appreciated the hand out with the images of various knot styles. However, I don't even know what our instructor's name was. She never introduced herself or asked our names - there were only two other participants besides myself. We ended class nearly an hour early. This feels like a waste of project making and learning time. Either the project we did was too simple or our instructor wasn't thoroughly prepared. Her instruction was okay, though I don't think it is very helpful to physically do something for the student which she did a number of times. I believe it is more helpful to walk them through it verbally while allowing them to do it to experience the motions and acquire muscle memory. Craft is a great space! I wanted to share my thoughts because I think the class I took last evening could be improved upon for future students. Thank you for reading, Ivette"
