My first time visiting At Home. It's so sad that they have filed for bankruptcy! This is a really big store for everything you need for your home. I have been missing Bed Bath and Beyond after they closed a few years ago. Wished I knew about At Home earlier because this location is so close to where I live. They should have advertised more! I know so many people that would love this store. We would have been regulars here and try to keep them out of chapter 11! At Home has taken over the building that housed the old Sears Auto Center on Foothill and Michillinda Avenue in Pasadena. It opened about 2 years ago. Ample parking in front. Most items are at 10% off. Halloween items are at 35% off. A lot of bedding stuff like sheets and comforters are at 25%. Some pillows are 50% off. If you are looking for a bargain, go to the very middle part of the store for their clearance tables. There are two big tables of various items in clearance. This is still early on in its liquidation. The employees were so friendly and helpful. What a shame that I didn't know about this place earlier. We need pillows for our new couch so I will checking back later. read more

Kari, who calls herself a manager, gave me the worst customer service experience. I've spent over $600 in the past two days and probably over $8,000 since January, but this was truly disappointing. I asked an employee if the light fixture I was buying was a plug-in, and they said yes. When I got home, I discovered it was actually hardwired--and since my ceiling is concrete with no electrical outlet, it's completely useless to me. I understand the store is closing, but they could have at least allowed me to exchange it for something else. Instead, I was met with disrespect. It's unfortunate, because I would have continued shopping and supporting the store, even online. After this experience, though, I'll never shop with you again. Zero Customer Service skills needs to be trained! read more

We were on the hunt for some planters, and after leaving Home Goods and Marshalls empty-handed, we decided to check out At Home for the first time. I was honestly blown away by how massive the store is! I can't even remember what it was before--was it the second floor of Sears? Either way, it's a huge space, and I can see how someone in the real estate staging business would have a blast shopping here. This store is packed with all sorts of decor for both inside and outside your home. We ended up picking out some planters and a frame for our house. I also signed up for their email list, and within two days, I got a 10% off coupon. Unfortunately, we had to return the planters because they were too small, but we used that 10% coupon when we ordered new ones online with store pickup--and had no issues at all. I will say, though, At Home faces some stiff competition in that plaza! read more

I have been anticipating for the grand opening of athome in Pasadena. It is so much In this store, especially Christmas decor for good prices for the low. They have copious amounts of house essentials, pictures, and much more. It reminds me of a more exaggerated improved home goods and hobby lobby. They have variety of plants and all types of vases to pick from. It is very clean inside and organized so well! The customer service was great! Promise had exceptional customer service and very amicable and knows her job very well. This is a very good reason why I'll return without a doubt. Overall, I will come back for sure! I got some nice items for the house at reasonable prices! You have to come here if you want to hook your house up for the holidays and just in general. They have what you need! This place just opened up a few days ago and I went to see what the hype was all about. It's a very nice store. Similar to Home Goods and Hobby Lobby mixed in one. Some prices were reasonable and some were overpriced. However, overall the store had great items. I purchased a few items for my mom's house that she liked and the prices were good. The manager, Promise was very nice, helpful, easygoing, and professional. She made sure we were taken care of and went above and beyond to make sure we got the best price. read more

My sister went on a Saturday morning in early November at 9:30am. It's at the former Sears auto shop area with plenty of parking. In front of the store had Xmas decorations to look festive. We walked inside and the space is huge. The right side has lots of outdoor and indoor Xmas decorations. Then the back is indoor and patio items. The middle are the rugs, kitchen, bedroom items. I get emails from them with the discounts and I don't have my phone number registered and because I don't have my number in the store, I can't get their discounts apparently! Very disappointing and the cashier was quite rude with this scenario! It's down the street for me but there's many other stores around for me to shop and feel the service. At Home is at the old Sears location next to Homegoods but the entrance is in the back. They have their own parking lot there. They have EVERYTHING imaginable for your home. Want a kitchen mat/antigue mat? They have literally 100+ of those. Pretty much every product x 100. Currently, they have all the Christmas lights, trees, ornaments, blow up items, snow globes out. All the things you need and didn't know that you needed inside and outside of your house. Kitchen stuff (baking ware, pans, woks, air fryer, instant pot, glasses, dishes, etc), bathroom items, living room items, seating, etc. Chairs, sofas, bed board, patio furniture, tables w/chairs. Need a RUG?? They have all designs, colors, different textures. Mirror? What size, shape, frame? Pillows? Organization bins...match it all!!! They have gifts. Ok I'm on the fence about writing a good review about this place. Only because I'd like to keep it secret so I'll always have a go to place for home decor with reasonable prices without fighting people for parking or just to walk down the aisles. Seriously though, this place is great. I really wish I had taken more pictures but I was too busy looking through every single thing they had. There was so much to look at I didn't know where to start. Everything from seasonal decor, to wall art, living room/bathroom/bedroom/kitchen decor. They also have lots of cute brand name kitchen accessories (Pyrex, Kitchenaid, etc) So many different kinds of floor mats, laundry/organizing baskets, artificial plants/flowers, indoor/outdoor rugs, garden tools/pots. They also carry indoor and outdoor furniture. I'll definitely be coming back! The staff was very helpful and friendly. Very exciting to have this store finally open in Pasadena. It's truly enormous and you can easily spend hours browsing the aisles. They seem to have a little of everything when it comes to home decor and many options (patterns, colors, shapes) for everything from soap holders to xmas ornaments and holiday decorations. My partner loves this store and it can be fun to browse and enjoyably frustrating to actually choose what to get here. It's less of a treasure hunt than HomeGoods or Ross, but in a way at least you'll know you can likely find something you want. Quality varies but typically everything is at least serviceable. Not expecting anything ornate. The staff are helpful, though can be hard to get a hold of given the sheer size of the place. Prices are fair and occasionally they have great sales. Their loyalty program is free to sign up for and they send coupons from time to time. Easy parking out front as well. read more

This gives me SUPERSTORE tv show vibes. It's a huge complex with a lot of decor items that it can be overwhelming. I'm not sure on the quality of these items because it also gives me Walmart vibes for some reason. I wouldn't say that it's a cheaper selection or a bargain because the price are the same as any Target or Home Goods. I would have to say the service may not be there either because there was hardly anyone available. And there was only 1 cashier working in the front but again, this store is SO HUGE that I wouldn't know where to even look for help (no help button). It's definitely not like a Target where there are multiple employees available and easy to find. I'm not sure how I feel about this place just yet or if it'll be successful especially with Hobby Lobby coming in soon but we'll see. Popped on in this past weekend and wow, there is A LOT of nice affordable home decor - fully stocked. Love it. I came by with my hubs and daughter, and she was very excited to see all the holiday stuff, the have a lot of nice holiday decorations - wide selections. I might come on by again, to check out their rugs, looks like they have a lot of options. Price is reasonable, sales reps that I ran into are all very nice and friendly. 1st time in the store since it just opened. I was asked for my phone number to sign up for a perk account for the discounts and didn't get a single discount. When I asked The store manager, Chance was extremely rude and said it's only for 11/18 and that I should have read it bc it's the small print on the flyer. And he was very proud of the fact it's on the flyer so that's my fault. Never was he compassionate or understanding. He made sure I knew he ran the place. The first time I have been to this chain--it is like a cross between Bed, Bath and Beyond and Pier 1. They have all the little things you need for your house, all in one place--bath caddies, trash cans, throw rugs, etc. The prices seem reasonable in the current inflationary environment. The parking is adequate, however, the check-out lines are much too long. The store needs to better anticipate the crowds, and staff accordingly. I don't think I will be back soon. read more

Incompetent cashiers. Beware for lies and cheats. Out of the 5 cashiers that helped me, five were unhelpful. One stole from me (didn't bag a purchase) and informed me that the sales signage was incorrect (said something was actually not buy one get one 50% like the sign said). Another lied to me (after she tried to make me a member at purchase and didn't, told me she could look up my receipt with my card--you can't). The manager couldn't fix anything (because the employees were just lying) and two others just didn't know how to do a return. How they make money: they open a store three weeks before Black Friday, but don't train their employees, post misleading signage, write up policies from the 90's, oh, and don't hire phone operators: corporate only takes complaints via email. I thought about how I was going to find this great fabulous place It was a disappointment! The prices are escalated, not woth it. Why go to this establishment, when Home Goods, Marshall's, and Ross has the same merchandise at much lower pricing. Don't know if they will last, most especially, coming in where there is a Hobby Lobby going in the same complex, with much better sales that are lower than At Home. It is a great place to find many home items. The service is ok although there were hardly any people on the floor. I believe this is fairly new store so this explains why the few employees. I would definitely come back. I bought a few things I needed to my house. Im giving this place 2 stars purely for the amount of merchandise selection. I was tempted to give 1 star for the customer service at the registers. I was there at around 130pm. 3 cashiers were open and 2 ppl were in line ahead of me. 1 person at a register had 2 carts full and was trying some muckery with how she wanted to pay with discounts etc, so it was a cluster. At 1 pt the other 2 cashiers left their customers to go help with 2 cart lady. The employees also stood around talking with each other loudly about non company business while the line behind me began to build. Finally 1 of the other cashiers finished up with her customer and called the next person up. A good 10 min has passed now. The cashier in the middle also finished up and inexplicably announces shes "taking off" and asks cashier #1 if thats ok. Cashier says " yeah great." I now count 10+ people waiting in line to check out. Hey management, why do your employees think its ok to mill around having conversations with each other when people are waiting AND close up when the line is so out of control? Thats not just on them, thats also on you. I know its a new location. But sheesh! I set my stuff down and left. No sale. The store will be great when these lazy cashiers get replaced or simply trained to be focused on customers. read more
