This location is no exception. You are immediately greeted by employees who care and are willing to give you their expertise. I was looking at ideas for bathroom tiles and was helped out multiple times from getting samples to doing color matches. Each time I had to return items, it was a pain free process. Their return policy is just as stellar as their customer service. When an establishment has more employees than customers at a given time, you know that you're getting one on one treatment during your visit. read more

Place is really big. Very good place to be in when its hot outside and you need ti roam around. They have displays of floors, bathroom, tiles, kitchens, and more. Not sure if the prices are cheap or not but they had a variety of tiles and wood. They did have peoppe walking around that can help you if you have any questions. Store is really clean and pretty organzied. Parking is also massive. And they even have bathrooms if you need to go. read more

Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Before I paid, the salesperson specifically warned me that tiles from different production batches would have different colors. Because of that, I made it crystal clear that I wanted ALL of my tiles from the SAME batch. I was promised that would not be a problem. After my contractor finished installing and cleaning the floor, we immediately noticed an obvious color difference across the floor. At first glance it may not be obvious, but once you see it, you can't unsee it. A brand-new floor should NEVER look like this. I checked every box myself and discovered that about two-thirds of my order was Batch 1M21, while the rest was Batch 1M35. The store literally mixed two different batches together after promising they wouldn't. The most outrageous part? The correct batch (1M35) is NOT out of stock. They still have more than 140 pieces available. They simply gave me the wrong batch. When I went back to the store expecting them to fix THEIR mistake, the manager refused to take any responsibility. Instead, he told me I had to: * Buy replacement tiles again with only a 20% discount * Pay the transfer fee * Pay the shipping costs * Pay any other related expenses * Contact corporate myself Are you serious? If you truly believe your store did nothing wrong, why offer me a 20% discount in the first place? That tells me you know a mistake was made--you just don't want to take responsibility for it. I paid for matching tiles because your employee promised matching tiles. Your store mixed the batches, not me. Yet somehow I'm expected to pay thousands more to fix YOUR mistake? That is beyond unacceptable. Now I'm left with a brand-new floor that has visible color variation throughout my home because of the store's negligence. Replacing it would mean tearing out a newly installed floor, buying new materials, and paying labor all over again--simply because the store failed to provide what they promised. I would never recommend buying tile from this store. If they make a mistake, don't expect them to stand behind their product or take responsibility. Save yourself the stress, time, and money, and shop somewhere else. read more

The staff at Rosemead Floor and Decor (off San Gabriel) sets a high standard for customer service. Starting with the manager Anthony, who is the greatest leader I've seen in action at any retail store, the team's attention to detail incomparable. The first crew member to help me was Rob. He was very knowledgeable and answered a million question with exceptional professionalism. After I changed my mind on the design plan I had to exchange some items, Brent, Jackie, Francisco and Kate went above and beyond to help me figure everything out and reconfigure my plan. WOW! What a great team!!! They are amazing employees that should be acknowledged for their superior professionalism. Bravo team! You make a big difference. If there were a million stars - I would be clicking them all. Thank you! read more

I want to specifically recognize Oscar and the store manager, Seaan, at Floor & Decor. As a construction and design professional, I had to source materials and design several bathrooms -- selecting tile, coordinating ground colors, finishes, and all the necessary materials. Oscar truly went above and beyond. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to help me choose everything I needed and made sure the materials coordinated perfectly. His customer service and attention to detail made a big difference. We did experience a hiccup with one of the cashiers, which caused a significant inconvenience. However, Seaan stepped in immediately, handled the situation professionally, and provided the appropriate credits. He took care of business exactly the way a strong manager should -- fair, solution-oriented, and respectful. Because of how they handled everything, I will absolutely continue giving them our business. Great customer service and true professionalism go a long way. Highly recommend this team! read more

Went into Floor & Decor knowing exactly what I wanted, but Oscar completely elevated the experience. He pointed out that my flooring wouldn't match my wall tile (something I missed) and helped me pick a better option. He also made sure I had all the extra materials I didn't even know I needed. Super helpful, knowledgeable, and saved me from making a costly mistake. Highly recommend asking for Oscar! read more

This is our second time back to the Floor and Decor store located in San Gabriel, California. "Socorro R." helped us two years ago with selecting a hardwood floor (~1700 SqFt) for my daughter's house remodel. She was able to secure a great discount to the price and was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and listen extremely well in meeting all of our needs. Then just this year, we purchased hardwood flooring (~2200 SqFt) for my son's remodeled home. Like before, Socorro provided great service, jointly working with a coworker "Ron W.", and like before, obtained a great, discounted price. My wife and I could not be pleased more by Socorro's and Ron's professionalism and customer focus. We will be back soon to continue shopping at the Floor and Decor San Gabriel store, as there are a couple of stores closer to us, but Scorro and Ron make the difference. read more

I was searching for grout to go with my Zellige Oat color tile. As we all know, things don't quite look the same once you get them home. Unlike one of the on-site designers that was really no help and made me feel like I was bothering him, Oscar F. was ready to help and answer all my many questions. Oscar F. provided me guidance on things to consider when picking tile and the grout color. I was initially going to choose a different color grout but, Oscar F. said nope that's not it, so I went with his suggestion and it was spot on for what I was looking for. Oscar F. should be a designer. Thank you. read more

Floor & Decor - Please ask for this superstar! His service was exceptional! - Home Decor Near Me - San Gabriel, California

I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with Floor & Decor that I feel compelled to share. After paying for delivery and confirming a specific date and time, I was shocked to find out that I needed to reconfirm my delivery over the phone. No one mentioned this to me, and if I didn't reconfirm, my order simply wouldn't be delivered. When I called to inquire about the situation, I was told that my order was not scheduled for delivery due to the lack of reconfirmation. This was particularly infuriating since I had construction workers waiting at my house for the materials. I ended up speaking with a Supervisor who was not only unfriendly but seemed more interested in rushing me off the phone than in resolving my issue. The only solution offered was for me to arrange for someone else to pick up the tiles. Easy? Nope, well that "someone" was my boyfriend. This led to three separate trips to the store, which was a hassle in itself. To make matters worse, they ended up giving me the wrong tile. The whole process felt chaotic and unprofessional. I received no genuine apology for the inconvenience my situation caused. The only thing they offered was a refund for the delivery cost, which frankly felt insufficient since they didn't deliver anything at all. Overall, my experience with Floor & Decor was incredibly disappointing. Poor communication and lack of accountability made what should have been a straightforward transaction a nightmare. I would not recommend them based on this experience. read more

First time here looking for kitchen floor tiles. We found a sample we wanted to try at home and one of the several available employees told us about that we could take one or a few pieces home. THey are all returnable in good condition with the receipt. Plenty too look at although I didn't recognize too many of the manufacturer's names. Probably great if you are on a tight budget. Plenty of parking! read more

Finally.. great customer service!!! I walked in and headed to the tile section to look for my kitchen backsplash. Oscar came up to me offering his help, which he then helped me with options and explained other supplies I will need. In short, he provided top-notch service and was very knowledgeable. Thank you Oscar read more

Walked in around 2pm with no appointment and the next designer wasn't available until 4:30. While I was killing time browsing, Oscar F. came over and asked if he could help. I'm so glad he did. He has an amazing eye, helped me put everything together, and took real time to walk me through designing a handicap bathroom for my mom. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about getting it right. That kind of initiative and expertise is rare. If you are a newbie at home improvement projects. This review is for you. Don't be afraid to mix and match patterns. Explore and have fun doing this part. Things to consider: Buy a sample of the tiles you like to get a visual of how the tile will look in the space. I would limit this to my top 2 choices that you are torn between. Always happens that you find yourself in a position overwhelmed by choices. So I narrow it down to 1 light choice and 1 dark choice. And if I am feeling creative, I add a 3rd option as a wild card design. You are allowed to return per their policy. But I normally just keep mine. There's always a project to be done. Make sure you know if you have hard water before choosing your tile. Chances are you do. This is important because if you choose marble you have to maintain it, which can mean a number of things depending on how the marble reacts to hard water. This is something to ask your general contractor about to get their input on whether marble would be a good option for the space you are using it for. I have hard water and therefore did not go with all marble. I did a mix of ceramic tiles and very little marble to contrast and complement. Don't dismiss the bigger tile options like I almost did. I almost went with subway tile until my builder gave me a suggestion about bigger tile being a better value. So I took a peak and well it worked for my space and my budget. When in doubt ask for help. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in giving suggestions or input. Overall, floor and decor is a great option for home projects. read more

Floor & Decor has it all! This store is my go to and one stop shopping for everything remodeling related. The prices are more than fair, the selection is vast and they make it so easy for you to purchase what you need. One thing that sets this store and company above all others is the customer service. All the employee are helpful; they will ask you if you need help, give you great recommendations, and are very knowledgeable about the products they sell and design in general. I want to express my gratitude and give a big shout-out to Trisha at Floor decor at the San Gabriel location. She was absolutely wonderful--she helped me select tile for a house we're renovating in Pennsylvania and took the time to put together the entire order, including figuring out all the quantities. Unfortunately, the Floor Decor location in Pennsylvania didn't carry most of the items we picked out, so I couldn't buy everything from her store.
