I felt like I was going through security, lol. I'm just there to shop for clothes. And then, after that she asked me to return my cart to the back of the line, which I did. When I got back, I waited for her but then she abruptly said that the number is attached to the clothes. Talk about poor customer service You know, a lot of us just want to have a semi pleasant experience when shopping at least. There are many other stores we could go to. There are a lot of misplaced items although the whole time we were there the employees were running past us with hands full of items to put back so at least they're putting in the effort to keep it organized. The sections that hold the clothes are so narrow, only one person can fit at a time so if you're next to someone and want to pass them, you have to go all the way around and enter on the other side. I imagine this is due to the small size of the store but I could see this being a nightmare when they're packed. The dressing rooms are awkward and a bit dirty. They have no AC running in that area so changing clothes felt very uncomfortable as the temperature hit you. The line wasn't terrible but they have most of the employees restocking so the checkouts were fairly empty. I'll keep coming back for the deals! I went home with so many clothes.

After my items were rang up, I wasn't sure if my 10% had been accounted for. Maria was kind and patient and said it hadn't been accounted for. She asked me to open the app, and she asked permission to touch my phone before she swiped and showed me where the offer had to be activated by me. Then she scanned the barcode in the app, and I saw the discount applied. I appreciate Maria's patience and respect. She didn't just put her fingers on my phone, she asked for permission. She's definitely a rare gem. When I left the store, I looked at my receipt and realized I had been charged twice for toilet paper, and we had only purchased one. I returned to the store (about three minutes later) and explained the situation. Customer service was efficient, and completed my refund since I was incorrectly charged for two. Thank you, Target, for allowing my family and I to purchase items in a clean store and feel respected while we did it. At that point, Evette told me that I had to wait because another customer who did not have enough money needed to finish paying for their items first. Her behavior was very odd and unprofessional: she was physically blocking the register with her body, which made me uncomfortable, so I decided to go to another register at self‑checkout. I first went to one register but noticed that the customer I believed would be finished was still completing his transaction, so I went back and formed a line again. At that moment, Evette came to me and told me I had to "stand behind" because she said I had cut in line. I calmly explained that I had not cut in line, but she ignored my explanation and continued treating me as if I had done something wrong. I felt harassed, disrespected, and singled out by Evette's attitude and actions. Her conduct made my shopping experience very uncomfortable and unacceptable for a store of Walmart's size and reputation.

He continued to talk with the other employee. I felt so bad for this lady. After quite some time and when Joshua was good and ready he pointed his finger at her and asked what she wanted. Almost like scolding a dog. It was just rude. I'm not sure what customer service training program Pier1 people go through. But, this was terrible and unacceptable.
