I was attempting to pay for my items using Apple Pay on my iPhone when Evette told me that the store does not accept tap payments. I then returned to pay for the same items with a credit card. At that point, Evette told me that I had to wait because another customer who did not have enough money needed to finish paying for their items first. Her behavior was very odd and unprofessional: she was physically blocking the register with her body, which made me uncomfortable, so I decided to go to another register at self‑checkout. I first went to one register but noticed that the customer I believed would be finished was still completing his transaction, so I went back and formed a line again. At that moment, Evette came to me and told me I had to "stand behind" because she said I had cut in line. I calmly explained that I had not cut in line, but she ignored my explanation and continued treating me as if I had done something wrong. I felt harassed, disrespected, and singled out by Evette's attitude and actions. Her conduct made my shopping experience very uncomfortable and unacceptable for a store of Walmart's size and reputation. read more

It's Walmart... what do you expect? It's not really clean and always difficult to find staff willing to help. Apparently they don't do balloons anymore and won't fill them for you like Dollar Tree does so don't come here for balloons. You can get cupcakes for birthdays at an amazingly low price. They're not bad cupcakes but do not expect consistency. I ordered two batches of cupcakes for the same day but in separate orders. My orders were identical but I received two completely different sets of cupcakes. The colors were different and only one set had sprinkles. ***This review is only for Walmart Gas located at this Super Walmart*** There is a Super Walmart a few blocks from where I live. They recently built a 12 pump gas station here. Station is clean, but it's a bit tight IMHO. However, there aren't much space for them to expand out unfortunately. On the plus side, I'm so excited that I don't have to be a Sam's Club member to pump gas here. Walmart Gas is way cheaper than Pilot Gas at this time. I don't know about Costco Gas prices at time time yet since they are still renovating. Anyway, Walmart does have lower price tiers for Walmart Plus and one other type members... don't remember right now. If you happen to be in the high desert, swing on by this Walmart Gas and get some lower priced gas. Happy Pumping! read more

Absolutely horrified. I regularly buy my daily items at this Walmart. I've never gone without my boyfriend with me but today he was busy and unable to come with me. As I was leaving i show my receipt to the man and he goes "i appreciate it and so does the little man" GROSS. I was on the phone with my sister who heard and was equally as shocked and disgusted. This individual is the most rudest and miserable person working here. We asked for help and she said "you go find someone" and walked away she said she didn't have time. There were several people standing around waiting to unlock the glass cabinets and no one came for over 20 minutes. We asked for a manger after her comment and he couldn't find his employees. The manager name is Tristan, well Tristan was useless and not very helpful. If you're not happy find another job! He even laughed as if it was funny he was very condescending, could not offer any help he didn't even know where his employees were. It is this type of "leadership" that builds these type of rude and unhelpful employers. Terrible terrible service! She said that it's now against store policy and these are considered seasonal that I could try a different walmart... I stopped in here after browsing their website. I wanted to see an item in person. I entered through the garden department. As I entered, I noticed there was a young guy employee sitting on a chair at the entrance. I thought maybe he was sitting there doing nothing to watch out for thieves, but even if someone ran out with something, that little guy would not have been able to stop anyone. And he was out there all alone. Anyhow, after I located the item, it wasn't very nice, so I picked a 3 piece Bistro set in the garden department. I told the guy sitting in the chair I needed help picking it up. Even though he wasn't doing anything, he didn't offer to help. He said he called someone. Of course, no one ever came, and he called 2 or 3 times. Nothing. So, I decided to leave the store and go home and order the Bistro set online. Turns out, you get more help ordering online. I got free delivery to my door, which I would not have gotten from anyone at the store. Honestly, I think these stores are stupid if they take a paid employee and make him sit in a chair by the garden dept entrance and twiddle his thumbs all day, when he could assisting customers. And people wonder why all these brick and mortar stores are going out of business. The people who run them just aren't smart. read more

This is for the auto motive department. I came in the other day to have an oil change. I had an appointment which made things smoother. Please make an appointment for oil changes. You would be doing yourself a favor and not wasting everybody's time showing up expecting a walk in. Just look on the website. It appeared that the people who didn't have appointments were the ones complaining how long things took. This created more work for the workers. Everybody in the auto department was great. read more

Oil change. Arrived at 8:32 didn't have anyone help for 5 minutes. One guy a head of me didn't finished until 8:53. Brian B answered phone and helped customer while there were several people behind me as well. Worst is that I told the guy that I would be back in 4 hrs for the oil change and was told that they were busy so it would take 2 hrs . Car was done in 1 hr but the worst part is not only did they park my car in the handicap parking they left my freaking car on for 3 hours until I could come pick it up . Also could not replace my bad air filter because of stock issues but just left my car idling. Hope I do not have damage now. They also did a evac oil change because they were busy . The best thing since sliced bread. We recently signed up for Walmart Delivery Services. For $95 per year they will deliver unlimited times directly to your house. They don't do meat or perishables or anything that will spoil. Anything else they deliver. For seniors they will put stuff in the pantry and refrigerator. They had a special at Christmas for $47 for the year. This service is unbelieveably helpful for anyone. read more

I decided to write my review before scrolling down to see why there are so many negative reviews. This is by far my favorite Walmart location in the Apple Valley/Hesperia/Victorville area. Walmart typically has a less than Target stereotype, but I will say this Walmart is completely different! The store is always clean and well stocked. We can find everything we're looking for there and at great prices. There's always parking and we typically use the self check out and never had to deal with any long lines. My only suggestion would be for them to focus on cleaning their the bathrooms more. I'm not sure what kind of Walmart shoppers come and leave toilet paper on bathroom floors, cmon people get it together. Also, we had one check out experience when I wanted to buy ingredients to make homemade frappes and one of the items (the most important one) wouldn't scan for a price. Instead of looking up a price and manually entering it (like Target would) the lady working the self check out said I just couldn't buy it -- so I had to put away the ingredients that went with it. On the bright side, I paid less since I didn't buy everything I wanted ;) Tip: bring quarters, my son's favorite tradition is grabbing a 50 cent can of soda on the way out of the store. read more
