I only went here to buy flowers really quick, but whole parking lot was damaged because the indoor swapmeet has closed and being remodeled for a grocery store. The 0.99 cent store had people wandering around the parking lot, cars circling for no reason, front of store had homeless people sitting in front of store looking like they were on drugs. They were sitting next to front door and exit. When I proceeded into the store the flowers were at the front. As I got in line there was 3 motorized wheel chair guys in front of me in line flirting with the register lady. When I left to the parking lot, there was a random guy driving by a lady with short shorts and kid "saying I see you out there" with his windows down driving slow by her. If you have to be in this area go to a grocery store in better area, the other kings ranch market closed, theres no other store nearby, the flower shop closed that use to be down the street.

Great location, lots of popular and familiar stores nearby. The cashier greeted us upon entry. The store just opened about a month ago. It's still very clean and the employees were working hard to keep the shelves stocked with new inventory. The aisles were overflowing with people as many peered at household items, to snacks. Kids looked at Japanese candy and talked about which one they wanted. It was a nice outing for a Saturday. I'm not sure if everyday is like this or if it was busier than usual because it's the weekend. The value of the products is so good that's definitely a reason for customers like myself to continue visiting. So glad to see lots of snacks, drinks, even udon noodles, miso, sauces, soups and more. It was 15 mins or so prior to closing time. Upon entry, I wasn't greeted right away probably because they were attending to two other customers. Eventually, a lady walked over and offered me a sample chocolate as they usually do. Thank you ma'am! It's a good size shop. Not too big nor too small. They have a neat wall art with a lollipop to measure your height. Creative! One side of the shop has all the pre-packaged chocolate boxes, cans, etc. My go-to is Nuts and Chews. The other side is where you get in line and when it's your turn, you get to build your own box or bag of delicious chocolates. Let's get what satisfies our sweet tooth! I bought about one pound worth of rum..almond..peanut nougats, pecan..almond buds, and scotchmallows. Some flavors come in milk chocolate and others come in dark chocolate. I like both kinds. I'll get what I can based on their availability. I didn't try any new flavors. They usually don't make my top cut for some reason. It would have to be really really good. Sometimes when they already have the best flavor, it's really hard to beat IMHO. Despite of the increase in the price of $32 per pound, I am still happy to support See's Candies. Quality chocolates worth every penny!

The selection of furniture is massive at BL VV and I believe they (all Big Lots) do free delivery as well as mattress removal and setup if you're in the market for a new/updated style of sleeping. We mostly stopped in for miscellaneous items (not so much furniture... but hey they carry that) and browsing... hoping to score some scented candles and last minute gift items for the family... got an hard plastic iphone case for my sister, some fun toys for the niece and nephews and while the seasonal holiday merch was getting to a bare minimum when we stopped in... we still managed to find quite a bit of last minute items we needed including some great deals on spices (Dill, Parsley, Ground Pepper, etc)... They also have some fun board games on sale for playing with the family and the service on the floor was almost as great as the service we received during check out. All the customers were in the holiday spirit... allowing people to go ahead of them with only one or two items. And though the BL off La Paz Dr... just off the 15 FWY.. is surrounded be a dozen businesses the lot is very spacious for maneuvering around. A dated bargain store that could use an upgrade but is definitely making up for it in so many other ways.
