The cashier and register 4. Rosie Extremely rude without telling the line for check that she was closing she just walked away. I had my son with me. Not only for a adult to see this behavior my son had to see it to. As an employer in retail I know for sure this is not good customers service. Not only had to move also had to explain to the customer after me what happened. Not happy with the customer.

This will be a great place for Halloween 99 cents can't pass this deal up !

Cheap and yet worthy. Their products work just as good as name brands at a store liek Walmart or Target.

Second Time Around Bin Store

This is a no frills store. No returns or exchanges, just like a yard sale, except most of the stuff…read moreare store returns and never used. They are very clear on prices(the day of the week dictates it). I LOVE this place! I love thrifting, and this is the best of both worlds. I live in the El Monte area, but like I said I'm up here like twice a month. I walked in the door at about 3:15pm. After about 5 min I asked the gentleman up front what was the amount of the bins today. He stated it was dollar days and that they had a strict policy about opening boxes or packages he advised me that he had seen me do it but considering it was a zipper on a hard case he would let it slide this time if I wanted to see if I had any questions or I wanted to see what it was in any of boxes then I need to just bring them up front and he would help me he would open them up for me no problem I took his advice I took his policy and I followed it so anything that I had questions on I put it into my cart, now ahead of me in the bins was another young lady who was scooping everything over to one side of the bin with a broom and then going through each piece item by item and tossing them all the way across the bin to the other side didn't matter whether it's fragile or not to me it just looked like a customer that was having a bad day come to find out it's the owner's daughter who works there and was going to the bins to bring out more a selection of my items, I asked her about a couple items that she had just brought out and she stated she had to bring him up front to her dad so he could price them, whenever I went up front to cash out I went over the items that I did want the items that I didn't want change my mind on a couple items and then asked him if he could tell me more or if he could open this box or that package so I could take a look at them see if I wanted to purchase that item,or if they were what I needed for each item he kept telling me he was not going to open it cause it's only a dollar ite, after declining about 5 items in a row it clicked with me, that he was not going to stand by his word so I stated that to him and basically told him that he was starting to look like he was running something shady and he replied that it was dollar days it's just a dollar for crying out loud and that I needed to purchase the items if I wanted to find out more about them and that there are no returns no refunds no nothing. I took that as I need to risk my hard earned money cause he doesn't care, well that's not what he stated when I first came in the door I reminded him I'm a first time customer here as I told you earlier this is what you told me to do I am doing what you told me to do now you're going against what you said he got extremely upset that I was even questioning or reminding him of what he said and that this is the way it is I suck to my guns I dug my heels in and said this I'm doing what you asked me to do I could have just as easily opened them up over there you asked me not to do that and to bring him up here to find out more or to see them I'm asking you to do that I kept on pushing the pushing the issue and trying to make him do what he said he was going to do he instead snatched about 20 items off the counter and told me to get out to get the hell out of his store as well as a few other explanatives and started talking to me like I was just some homeboy on the street with hanging out with him and not like a customer. I honestly could not believe it I'm not one of the homies I was just an average customer asking him to keep to his word me what you say say what you mean That's a rule of thumb most people should live by and most people do live by unfortunately this gentleman the father and daughter team don't practice it and I for one will not trust what they say, so I can't trust the business either or the lessons that are being taught here.

A really rude white woman with long frizzy hair, a little dog, and a grumpy demeanor watched me back into the EMPTY parking lot where this thrift store was, saw me walk into the coffee shop waited a bit and then finally walked in and was totally rude and disruptive to the costumers of that business. She had the nerve to go out of her way (when she could've clearly told me something as she stood and watched me park my vehicle, again in an empty parking lot, which would've saved her this bad review). Instead she opens the door of that business and asks who owns the silver suv which was me, I said it's mine I can move it right now and instead of stopping there she preceded to rudely take her anger out on me saying she's tired of people parking her space while they get their hair done and stuff, mind you its not like she wasn't already parked and even if she wasn't she had the entire parking lot to herself aside from the one parking spot I parked in. My one friend is a little spicy and didn't like her tone of how she came in and caused a scene like that with me so she took it upon herself to chime in on the conversation asking if she had a sign that said that's her parking spot, that really wasn't necessary but she was being a friend and felt the need to speak up for me considering how rude this woman was. I was so embarrassed, I didn't even want to tell her I was going into the thrift store at that point nor did I want to give her my business, so I said yea I missed my turn i meant to come here so I parked in the empty parking lot. Clearly she's just miserable and maybe she was having a bad day but that really didn't look well for her business. Represent yourself and your store better. That was petty and you know it. To make a big deal like that when mine and your car were the only two in the entire parking lot was very rude and immature of you. You wouldn't know it but i am an avid antique collector, and i often frequent the local thrift and antique shops in the high desert ( Country crossroads being the best, very friendly and inviting staff and they always have one of a kind vintage items I never leave there empty handed). I contemplated leaving this store a review as I didn't even go inside but as I sat here and read reviews on why this store has only 3.7 stars, I came across more than a few reviews talking about how rude the workers here are. So I figured I'd contribute to the reviews if that's how they treat their community who are trying to give them business. This was my first time coming to this thrift store and I would never come again. Your attitude and pettiness left a sour taste in my mouth I hope you had a better day today.

One of the employees pulled up next to me, parked right in front, which should be for customers but whatever. Once the doors were opened I walked around and basically helped myself. Neither employee asked if I needed assistance. I was the only customer in the store. I gave it 2 stars because it was organized and clean. But I won't bother waisting my time there again. I'm tired of the amount of stores I try to patronize (instead of ordering online) and getting ZERO customer service.

So you and your girlfriends hopped on the city bus to take you to the mall or some street out in LA just to get there. Remember...and it was just a girl store. And, you were, like...under 21 years old? 'emember? Well Rue21 is that "new" spot. Now, upon walking in, I felt my aura of old age try to escape me as the trendy hip-hop music and the Twilight display easily made me feel less, well, hip. But, I thought this place was cute and definitely ready to dress the under-21 hipsters (or, I guess the under 25) crowd...not that age really has a type of look, but that's what I'm seeing. I think it brings a better environment to the groups of kids who like this sort of stuff. It reminds me of Fashion 21, but caters more to the more "hipster" type crowd. Majority for the girl crowd, guys can shop here too, as the other half of the store is for the trendy, skinny jeans, wearin' type of guy. Oh, and there were these funky sunglasses with plaid print on the lenses. How can a kid see out of those? *shrugs* So, I'm going to assume if you can't find it at Fashion 21, you'll find it...whatever "it" may be...at Rue21. At least I found a place I can bring my niece and nephew to shop and shut up.
