So much has changed! Overall still a great store. Get greeted most of the time. Great Christian books and inspirational books at the front. This store has a large parking lot and is in the same shopping center as PetSmart. They're also in the same neighborhood as Sprouts. They sell arts, crafts, tshirts, fabrics, sewing items, knitting and crocheting items, faux flowers, gifts, licensed items like Minecraft, Super Mario, some anime and more, they sell seasonal decorations based on the season (Christmas, Autumn, Summer, Spring, etc) they have birthday items, household items, resin, resin molds, earrings and earring making kits, and so much more. It's a nice store but can get hectic (with long lines) during the holidays. Overall the cashiers and employees seem friendly. read more

9/12/2026 I asked an employee for the restroom code at 7:59, but they told me the restroom was already closed. Now I have to hold it again. This is really not very considerate or customer-friendly. It's just a restroom--customers should be allowed to use it. read more

Love Hobby Lobby. I'm here several times a week. I find everything I need here for all my hobbies, home decor, home organization, and household/kitchen gadgets. They have a great selection with constant rotation of new items. Love that most things are on sale up to 40% every other week. Staff is friendly, I have never had a bad experience here. read more

Hobby lobby is a great place to shop. Their service is always great. Their lines are always long, but they always have great sales. Great selections of items and they have a good quality items, their prices are pretty reasonable. I usually buy baking items and they're usually 40% off so that that's enough reason for me to love them. read more

Talk about chaotic? This store is chaos, finding something is ridiculous. Despite walking in circles, I just assumed the format of the floor would be the same at any of the stores; hence not. I then prompted this to just warn people as it had happened several times over the years, but it seems they still are doing the same thing. I was charged almost 40% more for the items I purchased. She said, $58 and I was in shock for a moment, but then thought, nah it's probably right. I drove home 11 miles and just now looked at the receipt and now understanding I just cannot leave until I double check the receipts from ANY HL. That being said, I paid $20 more for items that are 40% off Spring and the cashier did not double check and well either did I. From now on, buyer beware. read more

I come to Hobby Lobby A LOT! At least once a week and the customer service here is always over the top! I am pregnant and there are constantly employees (especially all the male employees) always offering to grab anything heavy for me or to reach something for me from the top shelves. Although I almost never need assistance it is SO NICE to be offered help especially at a a store that I love so much. I always walk in here and feel right at home lol but I mostly keep coming back because of 1. Obviously the store is great and always so much to see. 2. Customer service is great and everyone is always so sweet and helpful! read more

Really sucks that I spent two hours in Hobby lobby shopping getting some stuff for my kid and a few hobby things for myself two hours in the store wasted my time because they don't have tap to pay so you don't have to pay but you accept cash and debit living in the Stone Age in 2026. I say you guys just close your store if you're not gonna get with the times I sadly will not be back to shop at Hobby lobby until they change their policies. Ridiculous. She lost a customer over tap to pay probably won't be the last. read more

Idk what's wrong with this younger generation but they are all in a bad mood compared to the older workers. I asked to use the restroom and Carolyn rolled her eyes then gave me the code I was like dang sorry for asking. Then as I came out I saw an older gentleman ask to cut yarn and she had another worker do it for her cause she just didn't seem to be in a good mood to talk to customers. Y'all need to talk to your workers and to make people feel more welcomed read more

I never heard of Hobby Lobby until this one came to a nearby city. They have lots of neat stuff, and the guy named Jimmy in the photo frame department is extremely helpful. I really appreciated his help. Unfortunately, I didn't find a few of the ladies in the frames dept as helpful. When Jimmy is not in, the others just walk right by you. Nevertheless, most employees are helpful, and I would give 5 stars if it weren't for the cashier named Edna. She is very difficult to deal with, and seems to enjoy being argumentative with customers, even though no one is arguing with her about anything. She is also very short with people when you are talking. Meaning, she interrupts you with an answer, assuming she knows what you are asking before you finish, but she is always wrong about what you are going to say. I, of course, avoid her line whenever possible, but it isn't always possible. Finally, there is always some confusion at the register as to what to charge people, according to what is on sale that week. It causes me some anxiety, because I never know if they are going to apply the 40%, or 30%, or whatever the discount is supposed to be. I wish they didn't have to look on their flyer to apply discounts, I think the items should just automatically ring up at the sale price. That would eliminate much of the ambiguity. read more

I have been curious about Hobby Lobby (HL) for the longest time, but I never took that first step to walk into one of its stores. Today I took that first step LOL. So glad I did. WOW... what an amazing store! I always thought it is a store that sells kits of something for assembly. I had no idea that it is primarily a crafts plus everything else store... well, almost everything LOL. It's the Costco of Michaels IMHO. I'm going to be upfront... I actually came in here to use the ladies room LOL... it was very clean which was a good thing... thank you HL! After walking out of the ladies room, I was just overwhelmed with joy by the massive amount of arts, crafts, non-real flowers (looks real though), materials, home decor, table decor, wall decor... you name it! I ended up walking around and checking out the place... and buying one table decor. Staff was nice and pleasant. Prices were okay. It appears they have 30%, 40%, and 50% off on specific items most of the time. You just have to catch them on sale. My item wasn't on sale and that's okay. I have to say, I can spend many more hours walking around and bursting out in laughter from the life's funny quotes on the decor items. I am in love with Hobby Lobby! I will definitely return to peruse the aisles all over again. Happy Hobby Lobbying! P.S. By the way, this used to be Best Buy's old location in case anyone is curious. =) read more

One of my favorite stores to come. But they need to fix the time on there website!..

I never expected to write a complaint like this about a store I have truly loved and supported for years. But after being repeatedly harassed and singled out by one of your employees, Michelle, I can no longer stay quiet. What I've experienced has not only been humiliating -- it has left me feeling hurt, judged, and completely unwelcome in a place I used to enjoy. The employee in question is named Michelle -- an older woman, likely in her 70s, with shoulder-length hair and a slightly hunched posture. She typically works on Fridays and Saturdays. I mention this only so there is no confusion about who has been responsible for this behavior. Over my last three visits, Michelle has followed me down multiple aisles, stared at me with clear suspicion, and made me feel like a criminal rather than a paying customer. She has called security multiple times to watch me on camera, told me I was being monitored, commented on my tattoos, and even told me to my face that I "have OCD" because I organized items in my cart. These actions were not accidental -- they were persistent and intentional. As a woman of color with tattoos who carries a large purse due to my busy lifestyle, I should not have to defend my appearance or feel like I am under surveillance every time I enter the store. I come to Hobby Lobby to shop, create, and enjoy myself -- not to be followed, judged, or made to feel like I don't belong. What hurts the most is that Hobby Lobby publicly promotes values such as "honoring the Lord in all we do." Yet the treatment I received was anything but kind, compassionate, or respectful. There was no dignity, no courtesy -- only judgment and unnecessary humiliation. It is incredibly disheartening to be treated this way by someone representing a company I have supported for so long. I spend a significant amount of time and money at Hobby Lobby, but this experience has made me seriously reconsider returning. No customer -- loyal or otherwise -- should walk away from a store feeling embarrassed, profiled, and emotionally drained. I sincerely hope this issue is taken seriously and addressed immediately -- not only for myself, but to ensure that no one else has to experience this kind of treatment. I would appreciate a response and assurance that this behavior will not be ignored. read more

The only arts and crafts store worth going to here in the High Desert. Good selection and pricing. I find all my yarn and scrapbooking supplies here. There are also periodic close outs on some paper crafting supplies so it is a good idea to return and check regularly. We love everything about our hobby lobby. Merch, staff everything. Crafts, gifts, deco pieces. Flowers, sewing needs.

I can see myself coming back. This store has met all my needs. They've got a great selection of yarn and accessories for my crocheting hobby aaaand they have a wonderful selection of whimsical fairy garden accessories to go with my succulent plants. But bring your patience as you will have to stand in their lines at checkout. You'll be tempted to jump into another but just use this time to have your Hobby Lobby app ready for scanning as the weekly coupon will save you some coins!!! Oh why just 4 stars? Well I didn't appreciate being overlooked when they opened up another check out lane. Yeah that wasn't cool. So yeah just 4 stars from me based on the vibe I felt when I was about to give them my money!!! Do better Hobby Lobby! Let's be fair and unbiased! read more

Hobby Lobby - Hobby Shops Near Me - Victorville, California

I cant believe me and my wife have never been in or heard of Hobby Lobby before kind of made us feel like we've been living under a rock or something. This store is the greatest store ever they have everything to choose from and at unbeatable prices and the stuff isnt cheap stuff either. We have a large backyard with a in-ground pool and needed allot of decorations for the yard and we happily did not come up short. This store is also a Christian owned store with some great Christian stuff to buy if it fits your liking. I will update this review later after we get some of the many decorations put up outside and inside. read more

Victorville location: Those of us know about Hobby Lobby want to be at Hobby Lobby. I was there last week to purchase 3 chairs that I was settling on because I reeeally wanted the glider. I spent $325 on chairs that I hadn't picked up yet. But as luck had it I found my glider at another location.. I went back to the Victorville store and was reminded that I wanted to write a Yelp review from my initial visit I initially wanted to write a review to compliment Andrew. 5 Stars plus. Somebody smart and nice - hire this young man and take him out of the corruption of poor management. This young man was so kind, so polite, so helpful and had perfect customer service skills. Thank you Andrew. Management, Take note. At the front of the store was Tanya. Customer Service Bitch... I mean Manager. This girl both times I dealt with her, rolls her eyes and speaks with zero eye contact and the way she speaks to you can't be more disrespectful. Seriously. And being that I'd forgotten to write, I was reminded today when I went in to obtain a credit for the chairs. Yes the young man that she gave instruction made an error, but for Tanya to yell at him at the registers in the front of the store with several people in line. It didn't matter that the young man made an error because she was the one that looked like a fool. Tomorrow (Sunday) Hobby Lobby is closed due to their Christian briefs... something this girl is not a good representative of. Let me know when she's gone and I'll consider shopping here again. Tanya gets a minus 5 read more

this store has the worst price match policy and rudest workers ever. How can you not return and item and rebuy it since it went on sale?? They are so inconsistent and bad here. I would recommend driving down the hill to one of the better ones where you won't be brushed off and the manager will actually know what to do. So ridiculous. read more

Everyone is cordial but, goodness, it takes forever at checkout! read more

Ive had nothing but bad experiences here. The workers are always rude. I went in with a gift card and my phone, expecting them to accept ApplePay (thats my fault), however, they don't. I was short 2 cents. TWO CENTS and the worker didn't care. She cancelled the transaction. Then I placed an order online and I received one of the items broken. It says you can do returns in store. So I went to the store and they first insisted because it was broken that I have to return online. They then said they would make an exception but I would only get store credit. When I have my receipt and paid full price with my debit card. I will continue to go to Michaels and even Joanne's because their customer service justifies their prices. read more

I absolutely love Hobby Lobby, as well as everyone I know. I live in Apple Valley, CA. and would be SO happy if we could have a Hobby Lobby store in our neighborhood. So often when I'm doing my sewing or a special craft, which I do all year long, I find things I need and I have to make a list for when I make my next trip to the Hesperia location and pray I don't forget anything. Please consider putting another store in Apple Valley, there are thousands of people who shop at your stores and if they were closer, you would do an even bigger business. Simply because of people like myself, I would be there far more often, and I do unintentionally purchase other items that I didn't plan to buy because they are cute or just because I might use them later. Consider my thoughts. Thank you. Irene Maddox read more

NO CHANUKAH ITEMS at this store?! I'm pretty disappointed at the antisemitic gesture to leave out this holiday!?? Seriously, I take a huge burn to this! Antisemitism seems a bit real here in the High Desert that a place where they encourage people to purchase items to display for the season has forgotten that people who celebrate CHANUKAH live here too! The staff was very apologetic and said they were VERY surprised that there wasn't any for this season! I am too. Badly done Hobby Lobby - I guess me and my friends will shop at MICHAELS! read more

I LOVE Hobby Lobby!!! Unfortunately at this location I did not receive the customer service I'm used to. There is a piece of furniture on clearance that I really wanted but the three they had out were pretty banged up. I asked to speak with a manager because while I'm willing to take it home and do a little work on it to spruce it up I didn't want to pay $200 for something that needed that. I'm disappointed in Katrina for not coming to talk to me. She had someone tell me that since it was already clearanced they could not reduce the price any further. I can accept that. What I do not accept is Katrina not coming up to speak with me in person. I won't be returning to this location. read more

Hobby Lobby - Christmas stuff half off right now! - Hobby Shops Near Me - Victorville, California

I recently started shopping here, nice place, lots of great items. However you have to jump through hoops to return something. You have to go to register #1 and wait in line behind customers who have numerous items to buy, which I did. Register #1 had a long line so they opened another line to speed things, I went to that line and waited, when I got to the clerk she told me I had to go back to register #1 where the line was even longer by now. I told them to keep the item! It's back to Michael's for me read more

Yesterday afternoon I came into Hobby Lobby to return some items that I did not end up using for my wedding. I get up to the line and Katrina was the cashier and as she's ringing up my items and she says that my fake flower petals are not on the receipt. So I place them back into my cart and she says "your really going to put take back an item you didn't pay for". She was so loud and she tried embarrassing me. I tell her "yes because I know I paid for it so please check again." Surprise, Surprise Katrina. It was there. Not an apology or anything. I got my money back and left quietly. I shopped at this store yesterday afternoon. I tried to get a shopping cart and an employee got really upset. She began disinfecting the handle and pushed the cart towards me. I've never found someplace with more helpful supplies than Hobby Lobby. From their massive color palette in yarn to the vast array of brushes and specialty paints, if you can't find it here, you'll probably only find online. They'll even special order for you! Very nice stuff there. The thing is, I can't, in good faith, give four stars to a shop that so blatantly pushes their views on me as a customer. Say one thing wrong or wear the wrong shirt, and you can actually watch everyone's faces go from 'friendly customer service' to ' judging you extra hard' in 0.5 seconds. I found that out the hard way when I went in with my Geeks of the Universe shirt and blatantly boyish haircut. Try to keep it professional, Hobby Lobby. With improvements, I'll gladly offer another star. read more

Great store. If you are doing any kind of school, art, or hobby project, this place has what you need. Items range from seasonal items, furniture, arts and crafts stuff, framing, party supplies, yarn, thread and patterns, and other decor. They have so many things that those are the items off the top of my head. My daughter and I go here to get anything she ever needs for her school projects. They even have perler beads which are a bead that you can make designs with and then iron to make them melt together. They even have small model rockets that you can launch in the air. The amount of stuff you can make from items purchased here is limitless. My only complaint and this is a big deal, is the lines seem to always be long and extremely slow to move. A manager is always seen standing in the register area and they never, ever help out the lines. Maybe they aren't allowed to but they could at least call for some backup and ensure that the backup shows. Many times, after waiting what seems like 15 minutes, we walk out and leave our items in line. If you haven't been here before and you are a regular of Michael's, I suggest you check this place out. It's a great store. read more

This location needs train their employees better because I have to go back for the 10th time to get my money back because these employees don't know what's on sale or not! The cashier told me the items I had were not on sale and I paid full price for them and I'm looking at their site that says they are on sale!!! Why does this keep happening?! Train these rude cashiers better! Also the Asian lady is the worst there. I filed a complaint on her because she accused me of smoking marijuana because someone nearby reeked of it and loudly proclaimed that I'm "party party" and everyone noticed, I was so embarrassed offended. On top of that she yelled that I'm too young to know who Metallica is because I was wearing a shirt. She doesn't know me I've seen them live twice already! This would have to be my highlight shopping wise in the HD. Moving into a new house, I spent hours here and everytime I discover something else I need or think I need at that time.
