New kitchen tile

We love the tile here, we just redid our kitchen. August was so helpful and worked with us on pricing.

Kitchen backsplash is beautiful and handmade.

We worked with Marisa at MTW on selecting and ordering tile for our full home renovation last year. We made an appointment at the showroom (which I believe they strongly recommend/require) and brought all of our designs, sketches, inspiration swipes, etc. to our appointment, and set out to buy tile for two bathrooms, kitchen backsplash, and our laundry room floor. Marisa helped us pick everything and was very prompt getting us quotes and working with us on different options depending on our price needs. We were able to place our order within a week or two of meeting with her and received everything about 2-3 months later. (give yourself time to get your orders received!) Overall, it was a VERY positive experience! Marisa was even available to answer a couple random/quick questions after we received all of our tile, and always conducted herself with the utmost promptness and professionalism. We are so happy with the tile we purchased! Thank you!

We re-did our 1920's master SHOWER ONLY, in an attempt to preserve all the surrounding original tile. Alexis at MTW was extremely helpful to us in selecting a match and guiding us through our rough idea of our vision for the re-model. She also advised us on a tile expert that we used to accomplish what we wanted done. Very few tile contractors will do the kind of work we wanted, they are typically interested only in a full demo/re-build. Thank you Alexis for your help and guidance! Note: Their COVID safety protocols are excellent and my wife and I felt very safe the times we needed to go to their showroom to meet with Alexis.

The jewelry is handcrafted, and many pieces include the artist's name and a short bio, which adds such a personal touch. They also carry candles, bags, greeting cards, and products for men, women, and children. The variety is impressive, and I especially appreciated the large selection of handcrafted items. The associates are friendly, welcoming, and genuine. I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and I noticed they recognized and acknowledged repeat customers. That's impressive, especially considering the number of tourists who visit the store. Another thing I appreciated is that they don't overwhelm you with emails. Their emails are event-focused and purposeful, which is refreshing. You're paying for quality, craftsmanship, and unique items you won't find just anywhere. The prices reflect the specialty merchandise they carry and the care that goes into selecting it. Parking... well, it's Pasadena! It can be challenging, with mostly metered street parking and paid parking garages nearby, but it's a pleasant walk to the store. I highly recommend Homage! It's a wonderful place to find unique gifts or treat yourself to something special.

We were greeted by Dakin who was super knowledgable and not pushy at all. My intention was to just to introduce my booty to its perfect match in real life. A friend recommended the Herman Miller Cosm so I came here to compare that model against the Embody and to also revisit the not so impressive Aeron that I used in my twenties just one more time! I wasn't planning to buy anytime soon, I was just test driving. Welp! My friend's testimonials weren't fake, it took me a quick 10 seconds to determine that the COSM was the one! Dakin was not around the following day I placed the order so Marcos handled it for me. I literally have nothing to say except my experience in that shop and the exchanges via email/phone was extremely pleasant. Zero complaints except the imitation Purell they offered their customers that weekend. Maybe they wanted to maintain their customers perception of the store but they tricked us with their tequila smelling sanitizer which I thought was hilarious because we had an authentic bottle in our car. The man who picked up the phone in the West Hollywood location was rude and cocky. I actually ended up spending the rest of the day in that area and we were potentially going to purchase it from there because it was closer but decided to give the business to Pasadena, thanks to Dakin. Weeks later, the chair was delivered although I was promised I would get it within 5 business days.. but totally worth the wait. On top of that, my neighbor ended up buying one as well based on her experience with mine and Dakin took good care of her too. We're overworked old ladies with back problems and can't thank Dakin enough for taking such stellar care of us in such dire times. Working at home can be a pain but the perfect chair always makes it bearable. I would buy from him again, also thanks for the carpet casters!

Unlike my last time out purchasing furniture this time I did my homework and spent considerable time researching & reviewing the options. Room & Board proved to be a consistent presence when searching for quality & comfort so off I went to their Pasadena showroom. The amazing Cassidy greeted me upon arrival and lead me directly to the sofa I'd set my sights on - The Metro. It only took about 2 seconds of sitting on it to confirm that this was the one for me. Cassidy shared a few requested options I inquired about (absolutely no upselling!) and before I could finish half my coffee the order was in. It's an amazing store and I only wish I had discovered them sooner. Stylish & unique yet reasonably priced especially when considering what you're getting. So go see Cassidy - she's brilliant and can help guide you through your expedition - make sure to check out their remarkable Metro (you could spend twice as much elsewhere only to end up with half the value) and plan on spending some time perusing all of their unique offerings. Oh, and they make a mean cup of coffee!

It's a 100% fair trade shop which made me love it even more. I purchased a beautiful purple wind chime and a cute greeting card for my husband. There was a mishap on the card (another card was stuck behind it - same exact card but I didn't need 2, just 1)! The cashier and I both didn't notice when I was inside the shop. She wrapped up my wind chime and bagged the card (now discovered to be two). When I got home, I phoned them right away when I saw the other card was stuck to it! I explained what happened and asked to pay for the mishap! Gigi was extremely helpful in figuring out how I could do so and thanked me for my honesty. I'm just glad we could sort it out! So just be aware if you pick up a greeting card to check another card isn't stuck to it! The pricing of items: very fair! presentation of the overall store: very good! customer service: great! When they arrived at my home, I realized that there were no compatible pillow cases made for the specific pillow (Naturepedic Organic Side Sleeper Pillow)--neither on the Pottery Barn website nor through Naturepedic themselves. Since the design of the pillows are very specific, trying to use standard pillowcases altered their shape and defeated the purpose of the pillows. I brought one pillow in unopened and the other in large garbage bag after attempting (unsuccessfully) to fit different covers on it. Before coming inside the store, I had spoken to the general customer service number and was told that online returns are handled at the store's discretion so I was unsure if the item would accepted by the store. When I arrived, Assistant Manager Ms. Yvonne Miller was the only one working the floor and was on the phone, but she kindly asked the caller to hold so she could assist me. I explained the situation, and she was very understanding and acknowledged why I wouldn't want to keep the pillows without proper pillowcases. She even noted the issue to report back and took my contact info down in case she came across something compatible which I greatly appreciated.
