Apologies, I didn't catch his name but I noticed he was on a few calls when I first came in which gave me a chance to look around and take my time. After I gathered some things I was interested in, he asked if I had any questions. His vibe was pretty chill & patient and answered all my questions including pricing off the top of his head. Glendale Tile really does have something for everyone. Over the last few years we've remodeled 3…read morebathrooms, a kitchen and laundry room and visited over a dozen of tile shops, but in the end, after all that shopping (I was put through) most of what we ended up going with was from the shop next door. Glendale Tile. Their selection of tiles is large, not the largest around, but curated so it's the best from each price point. Price-wise they're better than most, especially when it comes to higher end tiles. Their staff is knowledgeable. They will point you in the right direction and help you find what you want or don't know you want. BTW If you're looking for the really good stuff, go next door to their sister company Amirian Tile for their top shelf selections. I took a moment to pause over the (what felt like countless) hours and thousands (more like tens of thousands ) I've spent here and honestly have nothing bad to say. This place is a local gem. It's where you should start your remodeling journey and most likely where you'll end up buying from if you do. Ok, one minor criticism. Glendale Tile has a classic movie popcorn machine. They should clean it out and run that baby like it was meant to be run or get it out of the shop. I see it and I crave some fresh popcorn but it's perpetually stale. Other than that, these guys get it right. My remodeling journey has finally come to an end. To the couples who are starting theirs, I wish you the best of luck!

Really great resource for tile and stone needs!…read more We visited here after looking at backsplash tile options in home Depot nearby, which had about one aisle of tile and stone to pick from for kitchen purposes. However, here at LA tile and Stone, they were aisles upon aisles of different kinds of stone and ceramic and porcelain tiles and more. It was great to see the displays on the walls for special orders, and the tiles and stones in boxes for those that are in stock already. There are so many options with outdoor tiling and indoor tiling options, and also some installed and showcase pieces like tub tiling. Each type was clearly marked on which brand or country they were from, and also what sizes or colors that the tile pattern came in, which was helpful. We quickly were able to find several options for our kitchen backsplash project. They offered a referral service in case we needed to have a tile install service. A couple days later I finally decided on which tile to use, and gave them a call to place an order. To make sure that we had our order correct, the lady told me to text her a photo of the tiles that I had taken. She also explained that with the number of tiles that were in each box I would have to buy a certain number of boxes to cover my project. The invoice was sent, and the tiles were ready when promised, only a couple days after I had made the text order. Great experience and would totally use LA tile and stone again for inspiration or for our next project!

I came in, looked over samples, she called the distributors for time estimates, and we ordered the perfect tile from the perfect tile shop. Prices very reasonable. Wish we'd started here first! We found out that our bathroom shower wasn't sealed correctly and were faced with having to re-do our bathroom. We started the process looking at Floor and Decor which was fine but felt impersonal. My husband suggested we stop by Glendale Tiles and Tops which is in our neighborhood. It was there that we found our dream tile for the shower statement wall. Martin and Abel were the team who did demo, tiling, constructing the new shower etc. They were lovely to work with. Martin is a very talented tile installer and Abel was his right hand man, always professional and hard working. They set up and protected our floors every day, were very clean and considerate and maybe most importantly did an excellent job. The electrician and the shower door guys that were brought in by the team were also very kind and good at what they do. Whenever we hit a snag or problem - for instance we had to figure out placement of the mirrors and that was a bit of a puzzle, Sam would come by noodle on the problem until we came to a solution. We ended up buying a vanity base and Sam made the vanity top - we used the same quartz on the shower bench, looks great. I couldn't be happier with the final result. It's truly a dream bathroom and we had a wonderful experience.

I parked in the residential street around the block, a very short walk to the shop. The shop is located near Brand Blvd. where all the car dealerships are so very convenient to find.
