Wow-- what a great place! We're doing a bathroom remodel, and had already found a contractor and sourced most of the tile, but were having a tough time finding some accent tiles in a particular color. After a morning of calling around to numerous tile shops, I connected with Michelle at TileNCounters. Michelle was more helpful than all the other places combined, even though she knew this would be a very small order. I came in, looked over samples, she called the distributors for time estimates, and we ordered the perfect tile from the perfect tile shop. Prices very reasonable. Wish we'd started here first! The work quality was good for the bathroom. They took their time finishing the work, it took more than a month to finish a shower pan and retile the shower. And oops they forgot to include the door in the piece. 1 1/2 years later shower leaks happened that my tenant tried to fix. (They guarantee for a year) I asked them to to take a look at it and they said they would. Unfortunately they didn't follow through. Customer service issues, communications and quality issues are things that I really have an issue with. I would have paid even to have repair it. Unfortunately they didn't follow through. read more

I am telling everyone I know in the design community; this company does excellent work. Granite and Quartz in a kitchen are beautiful but are not for every project. This company can do more than what you see everywhere else. If you are working with a Mid Century, Craftsman, Arts and Crafts, or any other type of home you are trying to keep the feel of using tile, Go Here. We found that these types of installations have become a lost art. They were the only company after months of research that could handle our project. As we called and stopped by (an amazing amount) of other tile stores discussing our 2-color kitchen tile installation with counter tops on the diagonal, two "tiled in" cast iron sinks and stain free grout, we either got the Deer in Headlights reaction, or the comment "Why don't you just do granite?" Ugh. Installing ceramic tile on a back splash is one thing, putting tile on a kitchen counter is another. It needs to be flat and level if you are plan on using the kitchen. When we finally found TileNcounters and Jose came out to see the job, he really knew his stuff. He mentioned most companies shy away from this type of installation. (He wasn't kidding.) We had finally found someone that knew more than we did and was totally comfortable with our project! Not only that, his estimate for materials and labor were very reasonable. The installers were artisans, had excellent suggestions and were a pleasure to have on the job site. The kitchen turned out amazing with the diagonal tile pattern balanced and looking like it came with the house. Got this tile company's name from Alan at George's Showroom. Great recommendation. For a small company they have a great selection of tile. Next time I will not only buy my tile through them but will use their services as well. Michelle and Tom ("mom and pop" of the shop) were very helpful - even when working through problematic issues with another tile contractor - at no extra charge. TileNCounters is a small tile shop with a large selection to choose from. They were professional and reasonably priced. I am not a decorator by any means, so I tend to get overwhelmed, but the one-on-one attention I received from Tom and Michelle was priceless! It was like i had my own interior decorators. They offered great ideas and solutions, so I was able to make sensible decisions on my kitchen and bathroom makeovers. A few months after having marble tiles installed by TileNCounters I noticed a few tiles started to crack and flake along the edges. This was happening with about three 10x10 wall tiles that were installed in an angle (like the corners of crown moldings that are angle/miter cut). They looked as if the blade used to miter cut the stones was not sharp enough and compromised the integrity of a few stones when they were cut (may or may not be the case to be fair). Any way, I called Jose H at TileNcounters. He promptly came to look at the tiles. No excuses, no nothing. He quickly arranged his guys to come and repair/replace the affected tiles within a week. Awesome! Jose is a standup guy and very pleasant to work with. The two guys who come to actually do the work are very friendly and know what they are doing. Definitely recommend them. read more

I cannot say enough about how happy I am with the work i have had done by Tilencounters. I had Ceaserstone counter tops done 18 months ago and we were very satisfied by the outcome. They were on time and showed up when they said they would be here. The job was done exactally when they said it would be and was a quality job. In the last two weeks I had them redo my shower in the master bath. Jose helped us design the shower, pick out tile and estimated the job within our budget.. They did a beautiful job and Jose even came out on his own time to seal the grout after they put the shower doors on. Jose is the reason I went back there for the shower, as he does what he says he will and makes sure that you are satisfied with the job. Thank you Jose! I was referred to Tilencounter, and they have not disappointed. We had them redo our entire bathroom (floor tile, shower tile, new sink), retile our entryway, and repaint some areas of our home, and they have done everything exceptionally well. The showroom is small, but has a really big selection, and the woman working there is incredibly helpful. As for Jose and his guys, they finished our bathroom right on time, and it looks amazing. Just finished our 2nd bathroom remodel with TileNCounter. Loved their work 10 years ago and still today. They provided the demolition and hauling, tile preparation and installation of shower and floor, reframing the jamb and niche, all plumbing, and installing fixtures, vanity/sink and toilet. Their price is competitive and reasonable for the work done. The tilers were conscientious and did great work following my design layout. They worked with me to ensure I understood any deviations from the initial plans due to unforeseen issues (dryrot wood, hidden pipe vents). From start to finish it took 3-4 weeks, not including design review time with Jose. We purchased our tile through their showroom - Pure and Vihara Karuna Silk from SonomaTileMakers. And Matrix Bright for flooring. Barbara in the showroom and Jose are great to work with. Planning to use TileNCounter again on my 3rd bathroom. Love my new bathrooms!! read more

I usually just read reviews but this place was so dissatisfactory I decided to write one. The initial estimate was fine...the guy who came out was on time and knowledgeable. After I didn't hear from them for a few days in getting an actual quote, I called and as another reviewer said, the lady answering the phone was very short and curt on the phone, almost like she was annoyed with me calling. I asked if I was going to be getting a quote and she said probably within the week. Well the quote was significantly higher than another place I had previously looked into, but they did have a wider range of materials. I went in to discuss materials and plans, and the lady just seemed totally disinterested in my business. I was asking her about the different Quartz options and instead of showing me exactly where they were in the showroom, she showed me one spot and promptly sat back at her desk. I was trying to ask her about the differences and further options and she seemed completely disengaged. Mind you I was the only person in the store at this time, and being a first time homeowner and being new at this sort of thing, it would have been nice if she walked me through the process better. After making it obvious she didn't seem interested, I just left and said I would be going elsewhere to get another quote. read more

We looked for tile for our kitchen and bathroom floors and this place is the best. We looked at the big box stores as well as three other tile stores. TileNCounters has by far the best selection. We purchased a beautiful tile and are so happy. Down the road we are looking to redo our kitchen, keeping the floor, and this is the only place we will go. read more

Great product, great design help and great installation. I have used TileNCounters twice now. First for a kitchen and three bathrooms in Mammoth after a severe flood damage and now here in town for my new house. The new house consisted of kitchen, laundry and three bathrooms. I have Ceasarstone, Quartz, Granite and tile. All look fantastic and no corners were cut during installation. After the house settled a bit there were gaps in the grout and they came back to fill them in with no hesitation. Thanks for being great to work with! read more

I embarked on a home remodel about a year ago. I started researching tile and countertop setters and turned to YELP to see which companies received 5-stars. I stumbled upon TileNCounters and was so impressed with their reviews that I thought I should make the trek out to Glendale (from the Westside) to check out their selection. I must admit, though, that I didn't think the reviews could possibly be true - but I figured it was worth checking out. Their showroom is small, but has a wonderful selection! After visiting a number of tile stores that were too large and overwhelming, it was refreshing being in a store that had a great selection but wasn't overwhelming. I went in and started putting ideas together. I met Jose Hernandez, who helped give design input, as well as worked up a quote for us. I had them bid the demolition of my house, as well as the tile and counters for four baths and a kitchen. The bid came in at a reasonable price so we moved forward. Every step of the way Jose was incredible! Supportive, understanding, on top of every detail - his demo crew was professional, his tile setters were like artists. My tile looks perfect! Further, we had a situation with Caesarstone where the stone I'd picked for both my kitchen and one of my baths wasn't the same colour as the sample I'd selected from. At this point, the owner, Tom, got involved. And I can't say enough about how supportive he was! TileNCounters handled the entire situation - they contacted Caesarstone, filed a complaint, and we met with Caesarstone who quickly agreed that his sample and my sample were completely different from the installed stone. Caesarstone comped the stone, TileNCounters comped the installation - and I am a very happy customer. My new stone is perfect! My tile is amazing! The workmanship is flawless. Jose and Tom are consummate professionals and I would refer them to anyone!! read more
