Glendale Tile. Their selection of tiles is large, not the largest around, but curated so it's the best from each price point. Price-wise they're better than most, especially when it comes to higher end tiles. Their staff is knowledgeable. They will point you in the right direction and help you find what you want or don't know you want. BTW If you're looking for the really good stuff, go next door to their sister company Amirian Tile for their top shelf selections. I took a moment to pause over the (what felt like countless) hours and thousands (more like tens of thousands ) I've spent here and honestly have nothing bad to say. This place is a local gem. It's where you should start your remodeling journey and most likely where you'll end up buying from if you do. Ok, one minor criticism. Glendale Tile has a classic movie popcorn machine. They should clean it out and run that baby like it was meant to be run or get it out of the shop. I see it and I crave some fresh popcorn but it's perpetually stale. They were referred to us by my parents who used them in their house ~15 years ago!! You couldn't ask for more down to earth, good, honest, talented people to work with. The brother-duo are exceptional at their craft and they make sure to protect everything the moment they walk onto your property. We've had some other work done at our house and no one else made sure every inch of flooring was covered and protected (inside and out--and even on top of the covering we already put down on our floors!) and they covered our cabinets/countertops so well!! We had no doubt everything was going to be the way it was before they started--and it was was. They started on a Thursday, putting a skim coat down on all the walls, came back on Friday and did laid the first half of the room's tile, then came back on Monday to lay the rest of the tile, and by Tuesday grout was done! They cleaned up remarkably well after themselves too. I can honestly say we have never had the joy of working with better guys who made us feel confident in their craft, trust them in our home, and just happy to talk to! I just wish I called them before I decided to try tiling my bathroom floor myself! :D They truly transformed our kitchen and we couldn't be happier. Thank you guys!! Really great resource for tile and stone needs!…read more We visited here after looking at backsplash tile options in home Depot nearby, which had about one aisle of tile and stone to pick from for kitchen purposes. However, here at LA tile and Stone, they were aisles upon aisles of different kinds of stone and ceramic and porcelain tiles and more. It was great to see the displays on the walls for special orders, and the tiles and stones in boxes for those that are in stock already. There are so many options with outdoor tiling and indoor tiling options, and also some installed and showcase pieces like tub tiling. Each type was clearly marked on which brand or country they were from, and also what sizes or colors that the tile pattern came in, which was helpful. We quickly were able to find several options for our kitchen backsplash project. They offered a referral service in case we needed to have a tile install service. A couple days later I finally decided on which tile to use, and gave them a call to place an order. To make sure that we had our order correct, the lady told me to text her a photo of the tiles that I had taken. She also explained that with the number of tiles that were in each box I would have to buy a certain number of boxes to cover my project. The invoice was sent, and the tiles were ready when promised, only a couple days after I had made the text order. Great experience and would totally use LA tile and stone again for inspiration or for our next project!

He showed up on Friday at my house and promised to install tiles on coming Wed. On Wed, he said he wouldn't able to come but would make it on Thursday. On Thursday he said again he couldn't come but would "definitely" come on Friday. On Friday he still didn't come. It's a new construction and the delay had caused economic damages. I threatened to sue him - then he revealed his evil part further. He said we didn't have a written contract! So I had to deal with the delays, the stress and additional cost to get someone else to complete the work. Months later, I noticed that some grout was cracking on the bathtub/shower surround. This wasn't his job; that fired contractor had remodeled the bathroom, and I wasn't going to call THAT guy. On the last point, I was supposed to have a Waterstone kitchen suite delivered in February. They apparently had production delays and consistently pushed my order back. Left to my own devices, I had no expected ship date and a deadline for plumbing installation in my home! Eddy contacted Waterstone for me, demanding the kitchen suite we purchased from them. Within two weeks, voila! Eddy had my Waterstone suite. He even made a promise that if Waterstone couldn't deliver on time, he'd give me a suite to install so I could pass inspection. He would even send someone out there to help me replace it once Waterstone delivered. With how crazy renovations go--trying to coordinate various item arrivals and coaxing vendors to deliver--I can't imagine going with anyone else. I'd 100% go back to Eddy!

From day one, the whole team made the process so much easier than we could have imagined and we couldn't be more delighted with the results. We worked closely with Michael, Sean, and Tritia every step of the way through meetings at their office, on site walkthroughs, and text and email. I had very specific design ideas I wanted to include and never once felt gaslit or unheard. Coram would do their best to accommodate my ideas and if they couldn't for structural reasons, we would work collaboratively to find a design that worked for the space. Sean's attention to detail and his tech savvy nature was a huge asset throughout the process. Our contractor extraordinaire, Leo, was super reliable and always had a positive attitude. His motto was "there's always a solution" and there is truly not a problem he can't solve. Since we chose to live in our house during the renovation process, we were nervous about dust and noise but the crew was clean and the always respectful. They even worked through a power outage--with their own generator! Francisco, the carpenter, built all our cabinets to our exact measurements. For our wet bar, he took a sketch we came up with and built a masterpiece. In fact, we had planned to save a bit on budget and build our own media center but after seeing his craftsmanship in the kitchen, we knew he had to be the one to build our media center and we are grateful he did! His work is just beautiful--you can tell it's built to last. What I appreciated most was how well everyone worked together. We always felt like our project mattered, and if we had a question or change, the team was quick to respond and genuinely helpful. Now that everything's done, our kitchen and bathrooms not only look amazing but are way more functional too. I appreciated how they listened to my ideas and then provided helpful and smart solutions. I struggled with feeling like all my ideas were too wild for my budget, but they were able to discuss things with me in a practical way and explain what we could realistically do. They guided me through the process step by step, first starting with inspiration pictures and then collaborating with me on every decision like kitchen and bathroom layout, the lighting, structural considerations, plumbing changes, flooring options, appliances, the cabinets, the tile, colors, even the placement of the mirrors and knobs. They provided different options to consider within our price range and knew when to discuss potential issues that could come up, things I never would have thought of on my own. Coram found a balance between getting my input while also providing me with professional opinions on what they knew would/would not work. Very collaborative. They do everything in house, the architecture, interior design and contracting work which made communication about the project a breeze. I could trust the project manager to relay important information to me when needed. Now that we are living in our house I keep having moments of noticing details that they worked on that we really love, for example, they put automatic lights in the laundry closet and that's such a nice touch. The hood range they helped us select has an automatic sensor and we were so pleasantly surprised the first time it turned on while cooking. I keep staring at the plumbing and lighting fixtures they helped us pick because they are so beautiful, functional, and they fit in our budget. There was no way I could have managed to pick all those details on my own. The overall feel of the house is exactly what I hoped for and everyone who visits us is amazed at how nice it turned out. I feel like their style is exactly my style--minimal, modern, sleek, incorporating traditional elements when needed--but it's more likely that they are just good at working with their clients to make it exactly their own. I think renovations can be so scary especially if there's a lot you don't understand. We had spoken to several other design teams before this and hiring Coram was the moment when the impossible task suddenly felt possible, they approach everything with a problem solving mindset and will take the time to explain things to you. I had been all over the place with my tile selection and she helped me see a completely different look then I had imagined. I liked a long 2x20 tile when I walked in and we went from there. She helped me pick the wall, backsplash for niche and the floor. The cost wasn't even as pricey as I'd imagined. Very comparable to the tile I was already looking at. It came out beautiful.
