I see a lot of comments about poor customer service, but I don't think that's truly an issue. It's a kitchen supply warehouse, it's not that deep...you don't need exceptional customer service to have a good experience here. My one complaint is that aisles are so narrow, it can be difficult to navigate, especially if it's busy. But I will definitely return to Kitchen Depot! read more

I love going to Golden road so I finally went inside kitchen Depot since I love cooking and all items that make my life simpler and upgrade on a budget. I was honestly so impressed I even bought two $4 clearance serving platters as gifts to give to family that I will not feel guilty giving us the main gift. They have everything you could need for basics and if you expect fancy or high-end customer service You should probably go somewhere else or be patient. I asked one of the girls to show me where measuring spoons were because I tried to find them on my own and I could not. She walked me to the exact section and I bought my $2 pack of serving spoons so when you read these reviews remember you're offered things at basically less than wholesale it feels like. If that doesn't make you happy you should go to Ross and go look without customer service but you still won't get that same price. I even was appalled at what a good deal all of the brooms and squeegees were when you walk in. I left with a broom for $6 Pine-Sol brand brand new at home Depot that would have cost probably $13. Definitely recommend taking the stroll on your own with no expectations walk down two aisles and think for yourself and look for the red tags because I saw so many clearance tags. That's what got me why would I not buy this beautiful decorative little dish for $1.50 or the platter for $4 on clearance that I couldn't find at Ross for probably less than 10 Beyond that they sell all the basic utensils you could imagine for serving most foods including sushi there's a whole section. I don't think you should go there with the highest expectations but with an open mind if you love kitchen cooking or presentation there's no way you can lose. I don't think it's fair for these people to blame the service when you're walking into what feels like an outlet or superstore. Terrible Experience, Rude Staff and No Basic Compassion We were shopping at Kitchen Depot when my elderly mother, who is not in good health, urgently needed to use the restroom. Even though the store has bathrooms, they refused to let her use them. We were actual customers, not just walking in off the street. To make it worse, the store is in the middle of nowhere with no nearby public restrooms available. I spoke to an employee named Ana, and she was extremely rude and dismissive. I explained that my mom really needed the restroom, and when I told her I'd be writing a bad review, she just said, "Do it," with a terrible attitude. No compassion, no care, nothing. We wanted a small stainless steel coffee maker for a last minute camping trip and we were told they would have it. We drove there and as per usual I checked in on yelp and saw that they offer 5% off and a gift with $20 purchase. First of all, it's a huge store and it was pretty organized for having a ton of items. Reasonable prices but you get what you pay for, so don't expect high quality here. It's like a fancy 99c store. There were 2 ladies at the registers and one was singing in Russian and feeling herself and the other one was on her phone. My mom asked her if she could help and very unenthusiastically she rung up the item and when I showed her the yelp discount she grabbed the phone and spent some time reading it. She applied the discount but I could tell she wasn't happy about it. When I asked her about the free gift, her tone completely changed and she said the free gift is with $50 or $100 purchase and I said your offer clearly says $20 so she refused. On our way out she is trying to give me a scented sink strainer as a free gift. Is she kidding me??? Who does she think she is to treat a customer like that? Anyways, won't be returning to this store ever again and I could care less if their service improves or not. After reading all of the negative reviews about poor customer service and rude attitudes at this store, I was a little hesitant to go to this place. But I was in DIRE need of some dinner plates for an upcoming get-together I was hosting and tried several other places to no luck. My mom mentioned she had seen an ad for this store and it looked like they had nice things. Anyway, I'm soo glad I went! The cashier was very nice and showed me where to find the dinner plates. They had a HUGE selection of dinnerware (more than you will find at places like Bed Bath & Beyond, Home Goods, etc) and all different price points. I cried today after leaving this store. All I did was asking if they have a restroom. The cashier said nicely that they don't have public restroom and I smiled and said ok, thank you. There were two other cashiers standing in the back that weren't happy with my question and were "gossiping" loud enough so I could hear about how weird it is and how unpleasant it is for them when people ask if they have restrooms. One of them even goes " I never have the need to use the restroom when I go to the store". I never leave reviews, but today I felt like doing it, because they embarrassed me and belittled me. The store carries a variety of merchandise at decent prices, but two employees were not wearing masks and the store doesn't really practise social distancing protocols.
